Gemäss der Erfindung ist das  selbe mit einer beim Verbrennen starkrussen  den Substanz imprägniert und weist ein  Köpfchen aus     Zündmasse    auf. Die genannte       russendbrennende    Substanz kann Kolopho  nium,     Kopal    oder ein anderes Harz sein.

   Diese  Substanz kann noch mit einem Lack über  zogen sein. Das Stäbchen kann aus Holz  oder aus Karton bestehen.  



  Das der Erfindung zugrunde liegende       Zündstäbchen    kann     beispielsweise    wie folgt  hergestellt werden: Das     Holzstäbchen    wird  mit einer Lösung von Kolophonium in Spi  ritus bis etwa auf die halbe Länge impräg  niert. Hernach wird das     .Stäbchen    an dem  mit der Imprägnierung versehenen Ende mit  einem Köpfchen aus     Zündmasse    versehen.
