Bei dieser Bauart ist ein für gewöhnlich verdeckt liegender Hand griff vorgesehen; in Fig. 4.sind die Teile in der normalen Ruhestellung bezw. in der Schliessstellung, und in Fig. 5 in der Offen Stellung des .Schlosses dargestellt; Fig. 6 ist ein teilweiser Grundriss zu Fig. 4, und Fig. 7 ein solcher zu Fig. 5;
Fig. 3 und 9 sind ein Vertikalschnitt und ein Horizontalschnitt einer etwas andern Ausführungsform mit ebenfalls normaler weise verdeckt liegendem Handgriff; Fig. 10 bringt einen Vertikalschnitt einer weiteren Ausführungsfarm, wobei der Schloss- riegel und die Teile zur Betätigung desselben der Einfachheit halber fortgelassen .sind;
Fig. 11 zeigt von oben gesehen, einen waagrechten Schnitt durch ein .Sehloss mit einem Riegel, der von beiden .Seiten her durch je eine nach aussen glatt abschneidende Platte betätigt werden kann; Fig. 12 zeigt im waagrechten .Schnitt und von oben gesehen ein Ausführungsbeispiel von_zylindrischer Form; Fig. 13 und 14 stellen zwei zueinander rechtwinklige Darstellungen einer Platte mit Rollenführung dar;
Lock on doors and the like. The invention relates to a lock which. B. can be used for doors. The lock can be designed so that it ends on one or both sides of the door. can be operated.
The main purpose of the invention is to create a ver. Better, simplified and cheaper option for operating the lock bolt without the need for the otherwise usual latches or hand levers that protrude more or less on the door etc. or the lock.
The invention is particularly, but by no means exclusive, intended for: locks on spring-loaded latches, such as those found on the doors of motor vehicles, for example. Here it is important to make the exterior of the vehicles or cars more attractive and to streamline the flow of electricity. to improve the streamlinedness of the vehicles by eliminating the otherwise usual more or less far in front of jumping latches or hand levers for actuating the locking latch, but without the possibility of opening and closing the lock, d. H.
to move the latch back and forth, to point out or even to lift it.
The lock according to the invention is equipped with at least one control element, e.g. B. a plate, .das in. Its closed position, corresponding to the locking position of the bolt, a contour adapted to the opera tion organ, in the door or the like. Fills and in this position on the outside with the outer surface -der Door etc. is flush.
Another component of the lock: forms a drive connection provided between the operating element and the lock bolt. The arrangement is such that the lock bolt is moved from its closed position into the open position as soon as the mentioned operating member is moved into the open position by hand. As soon as the control element is released in the open position, it is by a spring or else. by other locking means, e.g.
B. automatically returned to its closed position by the spring acting on the lock bolt.
In some cases, a usually concealed handle is built in, which is exposed for use when the said operating element acting on the lock bolt is actuated and then makes opening and closing the door, etc. even easier. Such a handle could be set up in such a way that when the operating element du-roh acting on the lock bolt is moved, a drive connection established with the same has to be put into a conveniently accessible position by itself.
The drawing illustrates some embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a front view of a Schlos ses according to the invention with a resiliently abge supported lock bolt; Fig. 2 is a horizontal section of Fig. 1; Fig. 3 is a vertical section of Fig. 1; Figs. 4 and 5 are vertical sections of a modified type.
In this design, a usually concealed handle is provided; in Fig. 4. are the parts in the normal rest position respectively. in the closed position, and shown in Fig. 5 in the open position of the .Schlosses; Fig. 6 is a partial plan view of Fig. 4 and Fig. 7 is a plan view of Fig. 5;
3 and 9 are a vertical section and a horizontal section of a somewhat different embodiment with a handle likewise normally concealed; 10 shows a vertical section of a further embodiment, the lock bolt and the parts for actuating the same being omitted for the sake of simplicity;
11 shows, viewed from above, a horizontal section through a lock with a bolt which can be actuated from both sides by a plate that cuts off smoothly on the outside; Fig. 12 shows in horizontal section and viewed from above an embodiment of_cylindrical shape; 13 and 14 show two views at right angles to one another of a plate with a roller guide;
Fig. 15 shows, seen from the rear, a plate with a simple device for locking the plate in its normal rest position, d. H. to prevent unauthorized use of the lock; 16 and 17 are horizontal sections of a further embodiment of a Schlos ses with a .Sperre, through which the Beätigungsplatts is retained when it is moved into its open position according to FIG.
1 (Fig. 1 to 3) denotes a plate used to operate the lock bolt, which is shown here in a rectangular shape and attached to a larger inner plate 2. The latter could be provided with an inwardly curved lower edge part from the lower edge of the plate 1 in order to create a larger space for inserting the fingers when operating the plate 1 and when opening the door.
The plates 1 and 2 can also, as will be described below, be made of a single pressed or punched piece.
The outer plate 1 normally sits in a correspondingly shaped opening 3a, the latter is in: the outer wall 3 of the lock housing. In the present case, the outer wall 3 forms, for example, part of the outer wall of a car door.
The outer surface of the plate 1 is flush with the outer surface of the wall 3 in the position shown, on the plate 2 is a see inwardly extending, on the lock bolt act the part -4 (hereinafter also called arm) attached, eat an edge an inclined surface 4a forms and rests against a slightly convexly curved surface 5a, which delimits a slot 5b provided in the bolt 5 on one side. The bolt 5 is guided at its ends.
The slot 5b is sized sufficiently large to allow the arm 4 to penetrate sufficiently deep when the plate 1 is moved inward.
On the slightly offset rear end 5c of the bolt 5 is a screw benfeder 6, the task of which is to keep the bolt usually always in the position shown in: FIGS. 1 to 3. If necessary, additional springs could be provided to facilitate the operation of the parts, which will be seen later from the description.
The plate 2, together with the plate 1, can be displaced on rigid guide rods 7 by means of guide sleeves 2a which extend inward from the plate 2. The rods 7 can be set in the lock housing in any appropriate manner.
A pin 5d is provided on the latch 5. In this one can optionally have a hand lever (latch) of any kind provided on the inside of the door.
To open the door from the outside, it is only necessary to push back the outer panel 1 by hand against the resistance of the spring 6. Here, the lock bolt 5 is moved back from its locking position, namely that when the plate 1 is pushed in, the inclined surface 4a of the arm 4 acts against the surface 5a of the lock bolt. Instead of the part of the that has the surface 5a A fixed ring, a roller or any other appropriate means could also be provided on or in the lock bolt.
During the inward movement of the plate 1, the surfaces 4a, 5a . Of the arm 4 and of the bolt 5 necessarily interact with one another and pull the bolt out, its locking position, respectively. from a strike plate 8 provided on the door post 9 completely back.
After the bolt 5 is solved in this way or. has been withdrawn, the door can easily be opened and vice versa also closed again or slammed. The opening 3a intended for receiving the plate 1 also serves as a "hand opening" @d. H. as an opening for inserting the hand when opening the door. The lower edge of the opening offers the finger a comfortable grip when pivoting the door leaf outwards.
In these. It should also be noted that, if necessary; a special handle, e.g. B. in the form of a loop or a bead on the inside of the lock case below the lower edge of the opening 3a .kön could be provided to a safe or. to obtain more convenient detection of the lower Ran of the opening 3a.
In: the slightly modified embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 to 7 is the movable, in the closed position with the outer wall 3 flush plate 1, 2 .des vori conditions example: replaced by a pressed from a single piece or. punched plate 1, which has an inwardly recessed band la, which cooperates with a sealing strip 10 fixed inside on the edge of the opening 3c4.
With its upper edge, the plate 1 is rotatably suspended on an axle pin 11 near the upper edge of the opening 3cc. The opening 3a is dimensioned so that the opposite to the edge la. protruding part of the plate 1 fits flush into the opening 3a.
An inwardly extending from the pivotable plate 1, cooperating with the lock bolt 5 arm 4 is provided with a curved surface 4a and cooperates with this on a limiting surface 5a of a slot located in the bolt 5 in the manner already described. In view of the rotatable suspension of the plate 1, the arm 4 is designed concentrically to the axle pin 11. The movement of the arm 4 is therefore carried out on an arc, the center of which coincides with .dem of the axle pin 11.
At horizontally opposite points, 1 Lap pen 12 with pins 13 are provided near the two side edges on the lower edge of the pivotable plate, which engage in. Slots 14a of the arms 14 of the angle levers 14, 15. The other arms 15 of these angle levers are connected to one another by a transverse rod 16. The arms 15 together with the rod 16 form a hand grip which is inevitably moved when the slotted arms 14 are moved.
The arms 14 are forced to move as soon as the plate 1 is pressed downward by hand for the purpose of retracting the bolt 5, d. H. is pivoted about its axle pin 11 inward. This A downward movement of the plate 1 causes the handle 15, 16 to be moved around its pivot pin 17 attached to the rear wall of the lock housing in the position shown in FIG. 5 in order to facilitate the opening and closing of the door in such a position . The lower edge la of the plate 1 is designed so that it cuts into the 14b of the,
Slot arms 14 engage and then the plate 1 in its inner position z. B. can hold by a snap lock. The plate 1 is released during the first part of the movement that has to be given to the handle 15, 16 in order to bring it back into its covered position shown in FIG. 4. The outward pivoting of the plate 1 takes place, apart from this first release of the handle, which has to be carried out by hand, under the influence of the closing spring itself, which presses on the bolt 5.
However, this does not prevent, if necessary, another spring for the backward movement of the parts, for example on the pivot 17 of the handle 15, 16 or on the axle pin 11 of the plate 1.
The embodiment according to FIGS. 8 and 9 also has a handle which is usually concealed. This handle consists of L-shaped side arms 18 and a cross bar 18a. The handle sits in on the back wall of the lock housing is introduced guides 19 vertically movable and pushes when the plate 1 is actuated in front of its front upwards. The plate 1 is-on tubular guides 20 ver slidable.
The movement connection between the plate 1 and the handle 1, 8, 18a is made in such a way that a pin 21 of an arm 22, which is attached to a transverse rail 18b connecting the upper ends of the vertically guided arms of the handle 18, 18a to one another , in an oblique slot 23a of a plate 28 engages. The plate 23 is vertical and is both with the acting on the locking bolt arm 4 as. also rigidly connected to the back of the plate 1.
The arrangement is such that when the plate 1 is pushed backwards by hand pressure, the pin 21 is forced to slide up in the slot 23a of the plate 23. As a result, the horizontal right hand rail 18a of the handle 18, 18a on the front of the plate 1 is moved upwards in a conveniently accessible position.
In a somewhat modified example, a pin 21 can be provided on each side of the handle 18, 18a, and a plate 2.3 with an inclined slot 23a for engaging the same. Furthermore, appropriate, easily triggered catch devices could be provided respectively. be built with in order to be able to hold the plate 1 in the inserted position and the handle in the raised position.
The embodiment according to FIG. 10 shows a rigid handle 24, 24a of a D-shaped cross-section fastened to the rear wall of the lock housing. The horizontal hand rail 24 lies in a corresponding recess 1b in the displaceable plate 1.
The side arms 24a of the handle. 24, 2.1a extend through correspondingly shaped openings 1c which are provided on both sides of the recess 1b of the plate 1.
If, in this embodiment, the plate 1 is pushed inwards in order to move back the lock bolt, which is not provided, which can be set up similarly to FIG. 1 to 3, the plate 1 moves on the side parts 24a of the handle 24, 24a far enough back to release the horizontal hand rail, U! So that it can be comfortably grasped by hand.
On the guide rods 7 for the plate 1 attached to the rear wall of the lock housing, there are also helical springs 25, the task of which is to move the plate 1 back into the opening 3a, with which the plate 1 should then be flush again especially to promote.
An example with two slidable ones in their closed position with both outer sides of the lock housing. flush, on guide rods 7 arranged plates eats shown in FIG. Between the two plates 1 there are coil springs 25 on the guide rods 7. The wedge-shaped arms 4 acting on the lock bolt 5 extend inward from the plates 1 and work on rollers 26 on both sides of the bolt. If one of the plates 1. is pressed inwards, it acts with its wedge-shaped arm 4 on a roller 26 and pulls the latch 5 back from its blocking position.
The two opposing plates 1 are of course independently movable from one another.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 12, the parts acting on the lock bolt are designed similarly to those according to FIGS. 1 to 3. The @ lock housing and the Füh tion parts of the plate 1 are designed cylin drical. Slots 27a are open or in the tele@sliopa.rtig. one inside the other displaceable ble guide parts 27, 28 are provided to make an inward movement of the plate 1 possible and to be able to lead the bolt 5 transversely.
The outer, tubular, movable guide part 27 sits on the plate 1 and is displaceable via the tubular guide part 28, which is placed on the rear wall of the lock housing.
13 and 14 illustrate a movable plate 1 with a roller 29 attached to the edge, which is movable in the longitudinal groove of a guide rail 30 inserted transversely into the lock housing. Such a roller guide can optionally be provided in all of the embodiments described above with a displaceable plate 1 in order to achieve the easiest possible displaceability of the plates 1.
15 shows, viewed from the rear, a plate which is flush with the adjacent parts on the outside in the closed position and which is provided with two coaxial pins 31 near its lower edge. The latter are in attached to the plate 1 La like 32 slidably arranged. The inner ends of the bolts 31 act with them to swept eccentric surfaces.
Cam 33 together, which, if it is rotated with the help of a key introduced from the front in .the plate, the bolts 31 in opposite directions outwardly so much that the outer ends of the bolts 31 over the side edges of the Plate 1 can be pushed out into sleeves 34 which are provided near the vertical side edges of the opening 3a.
The springs 35 wound around the bolts 31 usually hold the pins in the illustrated Ausrückstellun.g. With such a locking device there is the possibility of preventing unauthorized actuation of the plate 1. It goes without saying, however, that any other locking device can also be provided for this purpose.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 16 and 17, the closing plate 1, similar to FIGS. 4 to 7, can be swiveled about axle journals 1.1 and closes flush with the edge parts of the opening 3a in the closed position on the outside. The bolt actuating arm 4 protrudes inwards from the plate 1 and has a curved abutment surface 4a, on one side for acting on the boundary surface 5a of a slot 5 provided in the bolt 5.
In this example with an oscillating plate. said plate arm 4 is formed concentrically to the plate rotation axis so that it moves concentrically about this axis.
The abutment surface 4a of the arm 4 is provided with a cutout 4b, which is made at a position which is predetermined so that when the plate 1 is moved inward, the bolt 5 is pushed back, i. H. from the door post 9 is free before the locking surface 5a enters the cutout 4b.
A pawl .3 1 6 is hinged to the arm 4 and is normally held against a pin 37 of the plate 1 by means of a flat spring 38 attached to the rear of the plate 1 (FIG. 16) that the end of the latter facing away from the rotary lug of the pawl 36 covers the cutout 4b.
When the plate 1 is pushed inward to withdraw the bolt 5, the surface 5a of the bolt 5 slides on the abutment surface 4a, pushes the pawl 36 out of its normal position and is driven by the return spring of the bolt into the cutout 4b. Here, the plate 1 is temporarily held in its inner position.
By lightly hand pressure on the plate 1, the bolt 5 is brought out of engagement with the cutout 4b and the pawl 36 returns to the cover position, whereupon the plate 1 swings back into the starting position, the bolt 5 automatically over the covering end the pawl 36 and slides over the abutment surface 4aa.
To the plate 1, when it is temporarily retained in its inner position, BEZW when closing. Slamming to release the door automatically for its movement into the closed position is provided in the .Schließblech 8, in wel Ches the bolt 5 protrudes, a spring action plate 39 is provided. which inside certain limits about a vertical axis 40 is pivotable.
With this construction, when the plate 1 is pushed inwards, the latter does not pull the bolt 5 out, the closing plate 8 of the door, so that when the door is opened, the swing plate 39 due to the impact on the bolt 5 to pivot about the axis 40 is caused to allow the bolt to be disengaged from the strike plate 8. A spring 41 brings the oscillating plate 39 back into its normal position and to the stop on a projection 42 in the strike plate.
When closing (slamming) the door, the bolt 5 hits the rocking plate 3,9, which, since it is prevented from rotating in the counterclockwise direction by the projection 42 (FIG. 17), gives the bolt 5 an inward displacement, which shift .Just enough to disengage the surface 5a from the cutout 4b in the plate arm 4, whereupon the pawl 316 swings back into its heirs mentioned overlap position to the plate 1, the. Allow movement back into the closed position (Fis. 1,6).
During this closing movement, the bolt 5 slides over the oscillating plate 39 of the striking plate 18 before it can catch a behind it. When using the oscillating plate 39, if desired, the spring-action latch 36 can be omitted without affecting the release of the plate 1 and its oscillation back into the closed position when the door is closed (slamming).
It can be seen that the strike plate 8 can be seen ver with another movable member to interact with the bolt 5 in such a way that the bolt is given the intended movement.
In another embodiment of the invention, the plate, which is flush with the adjacent parts on the outside in the closed position, has the shape of an arm with a D-shaped cross-section, the flat surface in the closed position of the plate with the The outer surface of the door is flush and one end of the plate is provided with a vertical bolt or a spindle or sleeve which is set up to operate the usual socket.
In all embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, the plate used for actuating the lock bolt is in its end and rest position with the outer surface of the wall in which the opening 3a; for receiving the plate is practically flush. In addition to the illustrated and described exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, others are also possible, please include.
It can also be seen that in addition to the movement connections shown and described between the movable plate and the lock bolt or a part connected to the latter, other movement connections (e.g. hydraulically or electrically effective movement connections) could be provided.
Regarding the arrangement respectively. A direction of the normally hidden handle, some changes are also possible. The slope; or curve-shaped surface on the arm 4 can also be replaced by a surface running in the direction of movement of the plate (surface perpendicular to the plate), in which case the surface on the bolt that interacts with this surface is inclined or corresponding must run curved in order to enable actuation of the latter.
It can also be seen that by appropriately shaping these two surfaces, the size and type of movements of the lock bolt can be predetermined as desired. Furthermore, weights or other means could be provided instead of the return springs shown. nor are built in except for the return springs in question to cause or support the return movement of the parts.
If necessary, a pin slot connection (with an inclined slot) or a lever arrangement could be provided between the movable plate and the lock bolt in order to convey the necessary movements to the latter.
The lock according to the invention is also applicable to the doors of Eisenbahnfahrzeu conditions, aircraft or the like. As with all doors, flaps or lids, for which a bolt is required as a locking means. The outline shape of the operating organ provided for actuating the locking bolt can be as desired. be designed depending on the practicality.
