Description

Starre Bindungsteile fehlen also gänzlich.

Equipment for water striders. The aim of the invention is to provide equipment for water striders whose water skis can be folded up and pumped up by means of certain sticks designed as a pump for pushing off on the water.

The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely Fig. I is a view of a ski, Fig. II is a cross section through the center thereof, Fig.III is a view of the lower part of a stick and Fig. IV is a cross section of the same . On the dotted drawn leg 1, a ski is attached, which consists of airtight rubberized fabric, which forms an elongated floating body tapering to a blunt point at both ends. In the middle a recess 2 reaching to the bottom is seen for the foot in front. A flexible instep strap 3 is attached to the bottom of the indentation. At the bottom of the water ski two sliding tracks 4 are also attached, each with a collapsible rod inserted.

The ski is braced by these rods so that the weight of the skier is distributed over the entire length. The sliding tracks 4 form guides 7 on the underside, which make it difficult to slide sideways. A splash protection cover 5 is attached over the inlet opening of the indentation 2 and prevents the penetration of water. At the top it is attached to the leg with a rubber band. The leg is also held by the side walls 6 of the indentation, which are pressed inward when pumping up the water ski. Rigid binding parts are therefore completely absent.

The stick used for locomotion has a rubber ball 8 at the bottom, which is designed as a floating body. A tricbter-like, downwardly directed fin is attached to its largest circumference, which offers resistance to the water when it is pushed off, so that the sticks replace a paddle To be able to use the rubber ball as a pump mainly for pumping up the water skis, valves 10 are attached to the top for the entry and exit of the air.

PATENT CLAIM: Equipment for water strollers, characterized by inflatable water skis made of rubberized fabric, which are set up to be attached to the legs while avoiding rigid binding parts and are braced by only two collapsible rods, and also by sticks intended for pushing off on the water which are designed as an air pump through valves.
