Preparation for printing with mordant dyes using rubber thickeners. It is known that thickening of vegetable gum is coagulated by chromium pickling. As a result, these Ver thickeners can hardly be used or only with difficulty for printing with stains. Such printing inks coagulate after a while. The prints on textiles produced with it have a restless, blotchy appearance and the areas printed on have a hard grip. On the other hand, rubber thickenings are preferred for printing silk and rayon fabrics, especially in hand printing, with the other classes of dyes, because the printing inks produced with them provide well-leveling and sharp prints.
A possibility of being able to use these thickeners for printing with mordant dyes would therefore represent a step forward.
The content of the present patent is a preparation for printing stain dyes using rubber thickening, which is characterized in that it contains a compound with the atom group> N-CHa-C00- and a chromium salt. The compound with the atom grouping> N-CHa-C00- can be the free aminoacetic acid itself or a salt or ester or a product that is formed by substituting the hydrogen atoms of the aminoacetic acid on the nitrogen.
Printing inks made with u ummiverdickenungen that contain the above-mentioned bodies together with a chrome stain do not coagulate, retain their rapid consistency for days and provide smooth prints with a natural soft feel on natural silk and rayon fabrics.
In many cases, the effect can be increased by adding nitrogen-containing compounds such as potassium rhodan, ammonium rhodan, cyanide salts, hexamethylene tetramine, formamide or even soda-acetic acid to such printing inks. The bodies described above can also be used in mixtures with one another). Z.
For example, aminoacetic acid can be combined with sodium cresyloxyacetic acid or with betaine. You can also mix the bodies with colorings and bring these prepared products on the market. The preparations mentioned can also be used when the thickening agent used is not rubber thickening alone, but rather mixtures of rubber with other thickening agents. The preparations according to the invention are not only suitable for printing natural or artificial silk, but can also be used for printing other textile fibers, such as. B. cotton and wool can be used.
