Device on compression refrigeration machines for returning the lubricant from the evaporator to the compressor. In compression refrigeration machines, the refrigerant from the compressor takes lubricant with it. If the lubricant is specifically heavier than the refrigerant, it is deposited in the evaporator.
The invention relates to a device on compression refrigeration machines for returning the lubricant, which is specifically heavier than the refrigerant, from the evaporator to the compressor. The invention consists in that at a certain highest level of the lubricant deposited in the Ver evaporator, a float arranged in this lubricant automatically establishes a connection between the suction line of the compressor and a line immersed in the lubricant.
The device can be designed so that when the connection is established between the suction line of the compressor and the line immersed in the lubricant, the suction line is closed off from the refrigerant vapor. Furthermore, the float can be penetrated by a pipe and firmly connected to it, the pipe and float being movable as a whole and the pipe forming the line immersed in the lubricant.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing.
The refrigerant b passes through a pipe a from the compressor via the condenser into the evaporator c and with the refrigerant also lubricant. There the specifically heavy lubricant d carried along by the refrigerant from the compressor collects in a chamber e, which forms the lowest point of the evaporator c. The refrigerant b is distributed in the remaining parts of the evaporator e and evaporates. The steam is sucked off through openings f of a chamber g by means of the suction pipe h through the compressor. The chamber g is arranged above half the collection chamber e. A float m, which is carried by the accumulated lubricant, is arranged in the chamber e.
The float ria is penetrated by the pipe i and firmly connected to it. The tube i is movably guided on the one hand in the guide Ic located at the lowest point of the evaporator c or the chamber e and on the other hand with an annular cover plate d in the guide chamber g.
In terms of size and weight, the float is constructed in such a way that it receives such a strong buoyancy in the lubricant d that it can press the closing element l onto a seat rz to seal it.
When the level of the lubricant d rises, the float 7n with the pipe i is gradually raised until the cover plate 1 is pressed against the sealing surface n of the suction pipe Yes . This interrupts the suction of the refrigerant vapor through the openings f, but creates a direct connection between the tubes h. and i so that the lubricant d instead of the refrigerant vapor in the compressor is withdrawn.
As soon as the level of the lubricant in the lubricant collector e lowers, the swimmer falls back into its original position with the pipe i. The connection between tubes h and i is released. The refrigerant vapor can be fed back to the compressor.
