Gesehirrwaschmaschine.
Dishwasher. The present invention relates to a dish washing machine and aims to provide such a machine which, in addition to good washing and rinsing action, low water and power consumption, low weight and small dimensions, is characterized in particular by small height and despite the large useful volume, all of which makes the machine particularly suitable for household purposes.
According to the invention, the machine consists of a lower housing and an upper housing that completely or partially encloses the washroom, as well as separate sprinkling systems for washing and rinsing water, fed by separate pumps from separate containers, the two containers, the pumps, and one or more motors for the operation of the latter are net angeord within half of the lower housing that the pumps and the motor respectively. The motors formed motor pump unit is next to the containers, the invention will be described in more detail with reference to some of the exemplary embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings.
In the drawing, Fig. 1 is a vertical right section through the machine; Fig. 2 is a top plan view of the lower machine frame; Fig. 3 is a section on the line III-III in Fig. 1; Figures 4 and 5 illustrate modifications to the upper case.
The lower housing 3 is provided with adjustable feet 2 ble and includes two water tanks 4 and 5, one of which surrounds the other 4 for washing water in a ring shape. The loading container 5 is completely closed at the top with the exception of a filling opening, while the container 4 is completely or partially closed at the top by a removable sieve 6 through which the water flows back into the container 4.
Two pumps 8 and 9, one 8 for washing water and the other 9 for rinsing water, as well as an electric motor 7 driving these pumps, are arranged in a separate compartment of the lower housing 3 provided on the front of the machine next to the water tanks. Because the motor-pump unit is arranged next to the Behäl tern in this way, the height of the machine can be kept low, which is particularly important in household machines.
The inlet pipe of the pump 8 is denoted by 10 and its outlet pipe by 11. A blasting device 12 is connected to the outlet pipe 11 and consists of hollow arms 12a and 12b provided with nozzles 35, through which the dishes brought into a basket 13 or the like are blasted with washing water from below.
In the embodiment shown, the sprinkling device 12 is pivotable back and forth in a horizontal plane and consequently rotatably connected to the pump outlet 11 by being loosely pierced with a short riser pipe 14 in this from 11. This means that the sprinkling device 1.2, together with the short riser pipe 14, can be lifted off the pump outlet, which makes it easier to clean the machine.
The sprinkling device 12 can be moved in any way, for example mechanically by the drive motor or, as in the embodiment shown, hydraulically by utilizing the reaction pressure of a jet which flows out through a nozzle 15 and hits a reflective surface 17, which is adjusted in the end positions of the sprinkling device 12 by stops 16, whereby the direction of movement is reversed.
The inlet 18 of the pump 9 is connected to the container 5 for flushing water, while its outlet communicates with a sprinkling system 19, 19a, through whose nozzles 20 the flushing water is sprayed out. The pipes 19, 19a are rigidly connected to the pump outlet and the (possibly only one) ganten of the sieve 6 arranged along in order not to prevent the removal of the sieve.
The basket 13 carrying the dishes rests on supports 21 and is conveniently arranged directly above the sprinkling device 12.
The actual washroom is formed by an upper housing in the form of a hood 22, which is attached to the lower housing 3 in such a way that it can be lifted off therefrom. In the dargestell th embodiment, the hood 22 rests freely on the upper edge of the housing 3, which is provided with an outer support flange 23 which guides the hood in its position.
The hood 22 can be connected to the lower housing 3 by a hinge, as indicated at 45 in FIG. 4, so that it can be opened outwards, for example against the rear of the machine. In this figure, a clamp 46 is shown to secure the hood on the lower housing 3 in its closed position.
Instead of making the entire hood liftable or hinged, only a part of it can be made movable, for example as a swing-out or hinged door or flap. 5, a part 47 of the hood 22 is connected by hinges 48 to the lower housing 3 in such a way that it can be folded down. A clamp 49 secures the part 47 in its closed position.
As a result, the upper housing can be lifted in whole or in part or swiveled off, the basket 13 carrying the crockery can be freely removed from its support in the machine. can be freely placed on this support.
This significantly simplifies the handling of the machine, and at the same time the dishes are accessible for inspection without the need to remove the crockery basket from the machine. Another advantage is that the cleaning of the machine is considerably simplified, in particular when the entire hood is lifted or removed. can be swiveled out.
In the washroom, surfaces are arranged and designed in such a way that rays emanating from the sprinkling devices are reflected against the dishes, whereby the washing effect of the rays is better used. In the embodiment shown, such reflective surfaces are formed by a sheet metal that is attached to the inside of the roof of the hood 22 and is provided with formations 32 wellenarti. Beams abutting against the roof of the hood are thrown back through these surfaces against the Ge crockery in an appropriate direction, as indicated by the arrows in FIG.
To heighten this effect, reflective surfaces can also be provided on the side walls of the hood, which form an angle with the plane of the wall, and furthermore the roof can have inclined parts 24 on its outer edges, which the rays against the wave-like formations 32, align or create self-reflecting surfaces.
During operation, the washing water is set back into circulation in the usual way from the container 4, through the pump 8, the sprinkling device 12, the wash space 22 and through the sieve 9 into the container 4. When the washing is completed, the sprinkling device 12 is turned off, after which the pump 9 is put into operation, with rinsing water from Behäl ter 5 is pumped through the sprinkling device 19, 19a over the dishes, to then flow back into the container 4.
In the embodiment shown, the pumps 8 and 9 are driven by a common motor 7, and in order to simplify the handling of the machine, the impellers of both pumps are permanently connected to the motor shaft so that they consequently rotate continuously with it.
The pumps are expediently net angeord so that the pump, which is currently not in function, through its inlet 10 respectively. 18 closing flap valve 25, tap or the like is closed from the water supply. The flap valves are set by rods 26 or the like, which are easily accessible from the outside.
Each flap valve can be operated by a special rod 26, or a common adjusting element can be used which is connected to the two valves in such a way that one valve opens and the other is closed when the adjusting element is in one or in another direction.
In the container 4, a bottom valve 27 is seen in front of the ver see with an overflow 29 and, conveniently from the outside, abgeho ben or can be tilted if water is tapped through the outlet who should.
The pump 8 is connected to the outlet 28 by a line 30 through which wash water that remains in the pump or leaks through the seal can flow out so that it is not mixed with the wash water.
The machine is equipped with suitable devices in order to add a disinfectant and / or degreasing agent, for example soap, to the washing and / or rinsing water. In the illustrated embodiment, a container 36 which contains such a medium is pierced into the side wall or the roof of the hood 22.
The container 36 is provided at the top with a slot-shaped opening 37 and at the bottom with a plurality of holes 38 and also contains a valve in the form of a slider with an opening which can be adjusted in this way by a handwheel 40 from the outside that .the slot 37 and the holes 38 respectively more or less open. be completely closed.
While the machine is in operation, washing or rinsing water enters the container 36 through the slot 37, dissolves part of the preparation present therein and flows out through the holes 38 mixed with disinfectant or soap. The invention is not limited by the embodiment shown in the drawing.
The movable spreader device can carry out a movement other than a reciprocating oscillating movement. Although in some cases it is sufficient and even desirable to sprinkle the dishes with washing water only from below, one or more additional sprinkling tubes can be provided above or to the side of the dishes basket, which tubes can be movable or fixed.
Other changes can also be thought of without going beyond the scope of the invention.
