Au dessin annexé sont représentées plu sieurs formes d'exécution de l'installation fai sant l'objet de l'invention. Fig. 1 est une coupe longitudinale d'une première forme d'exécution, cadre non basculé; Fig. - 2 est la même coupe, le cadre étant basculé vers l'intérieur, avec le récipient y accouplé; Fig. 3 et 4 sont des coupes similaires à celles des fig. 1 et 2, mais pour une deuxième forme d'exécution;
Installation allowing the emptying, in an unloading hopper, of the refuse contained in the receptacles, without release of dust. The subject of the invention is an installation for emptying, into an unloading hopper, the garbage contained in containers, without the release of dust.
Numerous devices are known for emptying receptacles into hoppers with a tilting frame with an introduction opening closed by a valve, a frame to which the receptacle to be emptied is hooked by its eyebolts in suspension hooks around which it is raised by lifting it. rotating until it presses tightly by its top edge against the edge of the frame opening, and mates in this applied state with that frame before or after the frame has started its tilting movement towards the interior of the hopper, caused by the continued lifting of the container,
while the flap suspended from the frame by an articulation, in the manner of a hinge, opens either under the action of a control mechanism between the flap and the frame, or freely suspended in its vertical position under the action of its own weight, and thus opens with it the lid of the receptacle coupled with it by a driving finger.
Devices with a freely suspended frame closing valve which opens by its own weight while remaining in a vertical position during tilting of the frame, are very disadvantageous because, on the one hand, the progressive openings thus obtained are too low and thus delay the emptying of the container and that, on the other hand, in the fully tilted position of the frame, a lever of the latter must abut against a stop fixed to the walls of the hopper to suddenly cause the complete opening valve and lid and thus ensure the complete emptying of the container,
which results in shocks caused by the sudden setting in motion of the masses, shocks which damage or destroy the stop lever and the valve. On the other hand, the lower edge of the vertically hung valve describes a trajectory curved so strongly downwards that it sinks into the heap of garbage formed by emptying the previous container or by rowing the frame in. its initial position, after emptying the container,
this lower edge of the trap comes up against the freshly poured heap, thus bringing its top back into the container, which is then removed without it being completely empty. If we want to avoid this inconvenience, we must then resolve to load less in the collector, which amounts to using the latter less well.
The known devices with valve controlled by the tilting movement of the frame have the advantage over previous teeth that they ensure a smooth and sufficient progressive opening of the valve without abrupt final stop, and that can be imposed on the lower edge. of the valve a closed trajectory upwards which allows the complete emptying of the container and a better filling of the collecting tank, but they have the great drawback that the forced control of the valve by the tilting movement of the frame is forced in both meaning,
that is to say not only in the opening direction but also in the closing direction, so that, in no position of the frame, the valve can be freely opened more strongly than the imposed opening by its forced control, and that the frame must therefore leave its initial position if the valve is to be opened by hand in order to introduce waste by hand into its opening, which entails the danger of the frame exceeding its position cry tick beyond which it falls by itself into the bottom of the hopper,
from where it is then necessary to remove it by hand with difficulty and waste of time, therefore with inconvenience for the service. They also have the disadvantage that materials wedged between the lid of the container and its seat do not allow the complete closure of the lid and thus prevent the frame with movement integral with the valve in both directions can be returned entirely to its position. initial, in which the decoupling of the container is only possible, so that, in this case, the materials stuck.
and inaccessible no longer allow the decoupling of the container and make it necessary to dismantle the hopper if it is desired to prevent the coupling members from being damaged or torn off by too strong a traction of the personnel on the bottom of the container. It is for this reason that with some systems the hinges are frequently torn off or destroyed.
It often happens that the garbage overflows the container so as to leave its cover ajar, then the dragging finger of the latter abuts against the clap pet of the frame without the container being pressed against the frame and, by continuation, without the latter being coupled, and thus drives the non-coupled frame by its controlled valve towards the interior of the hopper at the bottom of which it then falls without being coupled, so that it must then be removed by hand.
The installation forming the subject of the invention eliminates these drawbacks. This installation is of the type having a hopper comprising a tilting frame which has a closed introduction opening, in the initial position of the frame, by a valve suspended hinged to the frame, but it is characterized in that the valve articulated, opened progressively and necessarily by the frame during its tilting movement,
can receive an opening larger than that corresponding to the tilting movement of the frame, because in the control connection between the flap and the frame is interposed a device allowing movement of the flap independent of that of the frame, but in one direction.
In the accompanying drawing are shown several embodiments of the installation forming the subject of the invention. Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of a first embodiment, frame not tilted; Fig. - 2 is the same section, the frame being tilted inwards, with the container coupled thereto; Fig. 3 and 4 are sections similar to those of FIGS. 1 and 2, but for a second embodiment;
Fig. 5 and 6 relate to a third embodiment and are a cross section and a front view of a claw connection between frame and valve, allowing independent movement of the valve in one direction; Fig. 7 and 8 are sections similar to those of FIGS. 1 and 2, but for a fourth embodiment.
Fig. 1 shows, in longitudinal section, an installation with a fixed hopper body 3, tilting frame 11 provided with a valve 14 articulated at 15 and integral with a lever 19 which is itself articulated with a telescopic rod that 20-21 ., itself articulated by its foot at a fixed point 22 of the hopper. The part 20 of the rod can slide into the part 21 thereof and this only to allow. the combined rod to take lengths greater than the distance between its articulations in the closed position of the valve when the frame is in the initial position, without being able to take a length less than this distance.
Fig. 2 shows the frame fully tilted in the hopper, with its valve fully open under the control of the linkage. The lower edge of the valve describes a trajectory B strongly curved upwards, while it would describe on the other hand the trajectory A strongly curved downwards if the valve was suspended freely and was thus kept in its vertical position during the tilting. element of the frame.
Fig. 1 shows, by the punched position of the valve and its control linkage, how the telescopic rod 20-21 allows, by its lengthening, the valve to open more strongly than its position controlled by the frame, and this is possible in any position of the frame.
Figs. 3 and 4 show another embodiment of the installation, with a linkage 25-26 combined in such a way that the rod 26 rests on a fixed stop 27 when the frame alone controls the opening of the valve, while this rod 26 can always be lifted from its support 27 to allow, for example by hand, a stronger valve lift than that controlled by the frame, as indicated in dotted lines in FIG. 3.
Figs. 5 and 6 relate to another embodiment of the installation. The valve 28, which can rotate freely on its shaft 29, carries a claw 33 which can only be dragged in one direction by a claw 32 when the latter is actuated by the tilting frame by means of a rod 30 and of a lever 31. But the claw stops allow play between them (fig. 5): in any position of the frame to be able to lift the valve higher and freely.
Figs. 7 and 8 show yet another embodiment of the installation. A lever 34, fixed to the valve, carries a roller or a sliding shoe 35 which controls the valve in its opening by a rolling or curved sliding path 36 which only secures the valve in one direction to allow it to be opened. stronger at will in any position of the frame.
