Kolbenpumpe.
Piston pump. In order to achieve the greatest possible effect of a piston pump, it is important that the piston is well sealed in the pump cylinder. This can best be achieved by using flexible, cup-shaped Maicschetten. The edge of the lip of the cuff is pressed against the cylinder wall when the pump piston pushes it, creating a very good seal.
In the pump according to the present invention, a cuff former is installed in the pump cylinder opposite the lip edge of the cuff, which ensures that the lip edge of the cuff takes on its original shape again after each completed pump stroke, i.e. the lip edge turns outwards the cylinder wall is pressed so that the sleeve seals completely again with the next pump impact. This process repeats itself after each pump burst.
In the drawing, the subject invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments in section. Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment with the piston in a central position; Fig. 2 shows the same embodiment with the piston in the low position; Fig. 3 shows a second embodiment example with the piston in a central position; Fig. 4 shows the same embodiment with the piston in the low position.
In FIGS. 1 'to 4, the pump cylinder is denoted by a, the pump foot with b and the piston rod guide with c. The flexible, cup-shaped sleeve e is firmly fitted between two piston disks d and the entire piston is attached to the piston rod f.
As usual with flexible, cup-shaped cuffs, the edge of the lip is g. made thinner-walled towards the outer edge so that this edge presses smoothly against the cylinder wall during the pushing movement.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, the pump base b carries the cuff former i. The cuff former i is adapted to the shape of the flexible cuff. The cuff former expediently has a hole in the middle so that the medium to be pumped can flow through this opening or can flow through it.
If the pump piston now reaches its lowest impact position according to FIG. 2, the lip edge g is pressed for a short time between the cylinder wall h and the cuff former i, the lip edge g assuming its initial most suitable shape, so that the lip edge g the next time the pump hits the cylinder wall h, this ensures a good seal of the sleeve e.
In the pump: according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the cuff former i is slidably mounted in the pump cylinder and a compression spring k pushes the cuff former i into its rest position, as shown in FIG. 3. In this embodiment, the cuff former i takes part in the short end path of the impact movement of the cuff e, with the lip edge g being formed at the same time, i.e. being pressed outwards against the cylinder wall h by placing the Lowering of the cuff to compressed compression spring k generates the necessary pressing force. The choice of material for the cuff e and the cuff former i depends on the type of medium to be pumped.
For example, the cuff can be made from a malleable, flexible material such as leather, rubber or the like and the cuff former can be made from wood, metal, porcelain, glass or bakelite, etc.
