      Zusatzpatent    zum     Hauptpatent    Nr. 180692.    Verfahren zur     Darstellung    eines     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Azofarbstoff    von wertvollen Eigenschaften er  hält, wenn man dianotiertes     5-Nitro-2-arnino-          1-phenol    mit     3-Ätboxy-l-äthyl-dioxypropyl-          aminobenzol,    wie es erhalten werden kann  durch Kondensation von     3-Äthoxy-l-äthyl-          aminobenzol    mit     a-Chlordioxypropan,    vereinigt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff ist ein in Wasser  unlösliches, dunkelgrünes, metallglänzendes  Pulver, das in Aceton blaustichig rosa und  in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit roter  Farbe löslich ist. Er färbt     Acetatseide    nach  üblichem Verfahren auf Grund seines guten  Ziehvermögens und seiner hervorragenden  Löslichkeit in kräftigen     blausticbigen        Ross-          tönen,    die sich durch ihre grosse Reinheit und  Schönheit auszeichnen. Die Färbungen zeigen  gute Echtheitseigenschaften und sind rein weiss       ätzbar.    Das neue Produkt ist auch ein gutes  Färbemittel für Lacke.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    15,4 Teile     5-Nitro-2-amirro-l-phenol    werden  mit 300 Teilen Wasser vermahlen; die er  lralterie Suspension wird mit 25 Teilen kon  zentrierter Salzsäure und 7 Teilen     Natrium-          nitrit    dianotiert und nie so bereitete Diazo-         lösung    mit einer Lösung von 23,9 Teilen     3-          Äthoxy-l-äthyl-dioxypropylarninobenzol    in  verdünnter Salzsäure vereinigt. Der nach  längerem Rühren ausgeschiedene Farbstoff  wird filtriert und gewaschen.
