Bicycle support. The subject of the present) invention is a bicycle support, which is characterized by two on this and the other side of the rear wheel to orderly support levers, which are suspended pieces under half of the rear axle on fixed support and together with two levers articulated on a fixed bearing piece attached to the rear wheel form, which is provided with rollers on both sides of the rear wheel and is set up in such a way that it can be brought into a position at any time by means of an associated actuating device in which the rollers are lifted from the roadway or are lowered on the same.
Thanks to this training, the bicycle support can not only be used to support the stationary bike, but also as a support when driving.
The accompanying drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention by FIG. 1 in a side view and by FIG. 2 in a rear view.
The bicycle support shown has two support levers B arranged on one side and on the other side of the rear wheel A, which are suspended from fixed support brackets c at the top below the rear wheel axle at a and are provided with rollers b at the bottom. From the lower end of the support lever B, two levers D lead to a bearing piece E built in front of the rear wheel, to which they are hinged at e. These levers D form with the support brackets B a mobile frame which, in the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, by means of the rollers b on one side of the rear wheel supported on the roadway. The bearing piece E is attached to the bicycle frame.
- The support levers B are designed as toggle levers. In the knee joint of the same a rod f is articulated, which is connected to an angled double lever g, which is rotatably mounted at g1 on a boom h of the bearing piece E. The double lever g is connected by a rod i to an actuating lever m which is rotatably mounted on an upper arm k of the frame and within reach of the driver. The latter can be set in a ratchet lock in various positions.
In the support position shown, the support levers B are stretched in a straight line, where one part of the same rests against the other to prevent buckling and a tension spring n connecting the bicycle frame to a lever D is under tension. In this position, the support lever B support the stationary as well as the moving bicycle. For driving, however, it is useful to lift the rollers b from the road. To. For this purpose, the actuating lever m is rotated into the position shown in dash-dotted lines, with the result that the support levers 13 are buckled in the knee joint via the double lever g and the rods f , so that the rollers b are lifted off the track with the assistance of the spring n.
By adjusting the operating lever in the opposite direction, the support levers B are stretched straight out again and the rollers b are lowered onto the track.
The support described is simple and easy to attach to any bicycle. It is designed in such a way that it does not significantly increase the weight of the wheel.
