Weighing device for continuous weight control of the contents of containers. Weighing devices for ongoing Ge weight control of containers for liquefied or compressed gases connected to a main pipeline are known per se. A disadvantage of the known devices is that in addition to the connecting line that connects the container to the main pipeline, a special weighing device is required.
Another disadvantage of these devices is that the use of connecting lines made of rigid pipe with a thick wall, as required due to the high pressure of the container contents, impairs the easy loading and thus the accuracy of the additional weighing device , even if such connecting lines are made as elastic as possible due to their length and shape.
The present invention now aims. to create a weighing device for the ongoing weight control of containers, for example those which are used to hold liquefied or compressed gases and which are connected to a pipeline, in which the disadvantages of the known devices can be avoided.
This aim is achieved in that the connecting line forms that part of the weighing device, the deformation of which as a result of the loading by the container is transmitted to a display device. There is thus a simplification due to the elimination of a completely separate weighing device.
The deformation can be caused purely by the elasticity of the connecting line, so that this elasticity does not impair the measurement result as with known devices, but measuring errors are avoided by including the elasticity of the connecting line in the weighing device and using this elasticity as a measured value .
The device is particularly suitable for checking the weight of a plurality of containers that are connected to a common main pipeline and that are to be subject to constant weight control, such as the glass bottles of a fire extinguishing device, for example.
The implementation of the inventive concept can be realized in the most varied of ways.
Examples of embodiments are shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 of the drawing. According to FIG. 1, the container a is connected to the main pipeline c through the connecting pipe b. The connecting tube b is made of elastic material and forms the balance beam of the weighing device. For this purpose it can be curved like a trumpet ear.
The pointer of the balance is supported at d on the pipe part in front and at e on the pipe part behind. If the connecting tube b is loaded by the loading container a, the two bearing points of the pointer move against one another due to the elasticity of the connecting tube b, which causes a rash of the pointer. The device can be made so that the bearings d and e or just one of them can be adjusted arbitrarily so that the pointer can be set to the zero point of the scale f after loading the connecting pipe b through the container a.
If the container loses weight, the pointer shows a deflection corresponding to the loss.
Another of the arbitrarily selected shapes of the connecting pipe is shown in FIG. In this embodiment, the connecting tube b divides between the connections into two arms, and the elastic deformation that the connecting line suffers when loaded by the container a causes a corresponding deflection of the pointer via suitable transmission means.
According to FIG. 3, additional elastic means, such as springs and the like, can also be used.
Finally, as shown in FIG. 4, the connecting line b can also be divided into freely movable legs, with only an external means being used as the elasticity means.
It is only essential in all embodiments that the connecting line b forms part of the weighing device and that the deformation of the connecting line b is transmitted to a display device, for example via a belt or toothed gear.
In the arrangements shown, there is no harmful influence on the fixed pipeline c that would be associated with making the latter at least partially elastic and wishing to use it for weighing purposes in this way.
It is irrelevant to the essence of the invention. whether or not the containers continuously load the weighing device. The containers can, for example, usually be raised a little by means of suitable devices or the connection line c can be lowered a little so that the weight of the containers is only allowed to act on the device during the content check.
It is also understood that the device described to control the Ge weight of containers can be used not only during their emptying, but also when they are filled.
