Le présent brevet additionnel se rapporte à la boîte pour montres, chronomètres, etc., faisant l'objet de la revendication du brevet principal, suivant laquelle la boîte comporte une glace formée par la partie supérieure transparente d'un boîtier intérieur,- ce boîtier intérieur, qui est destiné à enfermer le mou vement, étant logé sous forme de pièce indépendante à l'intérieur d'un boîtier exté rieur sans glace. Le boîtier intérieur peut être fait, entièrement ou partiellement, en matière transparante à base de cellulose, résine synthétique ou autres.
Or, suivant la présente invention, le corps du boîtier extérieur est fait au moins par tiellement en une matière autre que du métal, ayant un aspect plaisant. Pour augmenter la résistance mécanique du boîtier et pour parer éventuellement à la fragilité de ces matières, le corps du boîtier extérieur peut être pourvu de parties métalliques de ren forcement. Il peut aussi être muni de parties métalliques décoratives. Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de la boîte suivant l'invention.

Le boîtier intérieur 1, de forme appro priée au mouvement (fig. Ï. et 2), dont la partie 2 remplace le verre de montre babi- tuel, est enfermé dans un boîtier extérieur 3, de forme variée, selon le goût du joùr: Le corps de ce boîtier extérieur 3 est ici établi en une matière moulée solide, telle que la matière à base de cellulose, de résine artificielle etc., en nacre ou toute matière autre que du métal, ayant un aspect plaisant. Dans le cas représenté, le boîtier extérieur est renforcé par des armatures métalliques 4. II est muni en outre d'incrustations métal liques 5 ayant un effet décoratif.
L'incrusta tion de pierres précieuses serait également propre à rehausser l'effet décoratif.
On voit en fig. 1 que la partie 2 du boîtier intérieur faisant office de glace pré- sente en section transversale la forme d'une lentille convergente concave-convexe, aux fins de faciliter la lecture des heures.

And 2), part 2 of which replaces the usual watch glass, is enclosed in an outer case 3, of various shapes, according to the taste of the day. : The body of this outer case 3 is here made of a solid molded material, such as the material based on cellulose, artificial resin etc., mother-of-pearl or any material other than metal, having a pleasing appearance. In the case shown, the outer casing is reinforced by metal frames 4. It is also provided with metal inlays 5 having a decorative effect.
The encrustation of precious stones would also be able to enhance the decorative effect.
We see in fig. 1 that the part 2 of the inner case serving as a glass has in cross section the shape of a converging concave-convex lens, in order to facilitate the reading of the hours.
