Bat terie B, Wicklung I des Anrufrelais R, Ruhekontakt v3, Einschaltrelais E, Ruhe kontakt hl, Sendekontakt SK, Ruftaste<I>RT,</I> Nummernscheibenkontakt ni, Ruhekontakt v2, Batterie<I>B.</I> Der Kontakt r,. schliesst jetzt einen Stromkreis für die linke Wicklung.
I>T</I> un abhängigen Haltestromkreis legt.
Im Vorwähler <I>VW'</I> werden die Kontakte<I>r='</I> und r3' geschlossen.
I>D',</I> Unterbrecher RU', Batterie, Erde.

Circuit arrangement for telegraph systems with voter operation. The subject of the main patent is a circuit arrangement for telegraph systems with dialer operation, in which two subscribers hern- '"iWn connection with, Schliissz.F @ ohengabe one subscriber triggers the connection switch within the with the line of the switching center connected to the calling subscriber is only initiated by switching means assigned to the line of this subscriber.
The reason for using such a pure forward release instead of the mixed forward and backward release common in telephone systems is that this is the safest way to avoid incorrect controls and reassignment of connection switching means in the original assignment direction.
In the case of the system described in the main patent, however, under certain circumstances an incorrect assignment of the switching means of free choice assigned to the called subscriber, for example his preselector, can occur when the final signal is given by the calling subscriber and the rest state in the relay connection circuit is restored of the called subscriber, which is caused by the closing signal running through the traffic arteries, takes place later than the one via the test cores of the various.
Selector level controlled release of the preselector or other switching means of free choice for the called subscriber. Under these conditions it can happen that while the subscriber connection circuit is in the idle state, a switching state similar to the call state is passed through, so that if the preselector has already been released, an incorrect assignment, i.e. a faulty start-up of the preselector, is caused .
To eliminate this difficulty, according to the invention, when the connection is released by the calling subscriber, the incentive circuit of the switching means causing the free choice on the called subscriber's side is inevitably blocked until the subscriber line circuit is in the idle state.
In the following, an embodiment of the subject invention is described with reference to the drawing.
The drawing shows in its upper and lower part two similarly connected subscriber connections with the parts of the switching circuit that are essential for the invention. The subscriber station TS is via a double line with the subscriber connection circuit T9. connected in the exchange.
This subscriber connection circuit essentially comprises a call relay R, which initiates free choice when the assigned subscriber calls and monitors the connection, a telegraph relay ER, which receives and forwards the impulses coming from the subscriber, another connection monitoring relay V and a telegraph relay SR, which the incoming over the connecting circuits sends the impulses over the subscriber loop to the subscriber.
This subscriber connection circuit <I> TA </I> is connected to the switching circuit with the relays T and U and the preselector VW, which carries out the free selection and connects the calling subscriber to a free group selector.
This group selector, as well as' further group selector and line selector are, since their circuit is irrelevant for the invention, not shown in detail, but only indicated schematically by the rectangle W on.
The connection is finally made via the line selector. TAI of the respectively requested subscriber, for example the subscriber TS 'shown in the lower part of the figure, which, as the exemplary embodiment shows, can be switched in exactly the same way as the connection of the calling subscriber.
To explain the circuit in more detail, it is assumed that a connection is to be established from the subscriber station TS to the subscriber station TS '.
As soon as the subscriber in the station TS presses the call button <I> RT </I>, the capacitor C, which galvanically interrupts the subscriber loop in the idle state, is bridged, and in this way the one in the exchange by closing the subscriber loop Call relay R triggered in the following circuit:
Battery B, winding I of the call relay R, normally closed contact v3, switch-on relay E, normally closed contact hl, send contact SK, call button <I> RT, </I> number disc contact ni, normally closed contact v2, battery <I> B. </I> Der Contact r ,. now closes a circuit for the left winding.
of the telegraph relay ER, so that its armature <I> er </I> goes from the illustrated false rest position into the separating position and prepares a circuit of a certain direction for winding II <I> of </I> call relay R.
The contacts r2 and r4 prepare additional circuits, while the contact rz; the preselector is activated: earth, selector arm vd, make contact r3, break contact u2, break contact t3, rotary magnet D, interrupter RU, battery, earth.
As soon as the preselector has found a free line to the first group selector, a circuit for the test relay T is established in a known manner via the line core cl, the test arm vc, the normally open contact r3, the normally closed contact u2 and the ground contact arm vd,
which runs in series via the two windings I and 1I and is only traversed by a current sufficient to excite the relay T when it hits a free connection.
In. In this case, the relay T responds and disconnects the circuit of the rotary magnet D by moving the contact 4, so that the preselector remains on the connection reached. The high-ohmic winding II of the test relay T is short-circuited via the working contact t3 and the previously closed contacts r2 and r3 and the subscriber line is thus marked as busy in a known manner.
Contact t4 closes a circuit prepared by contact r4 for relay U, which now responds and, by closing its own contact u, is placed in a holding circuit that is independent of relay <I> T </I>. The opening of the normally closed contact u "removes the short circuit for winding II of the test relay T, but only the low-resistance winding I remains in the test wire because the earth connection via contacts r2 and t3 and the contact arm vd exist remains.
The special meaning of the relay U is discussed below when discussing the operations on the part of the called party.
By closing the working contacts t, and t2, the contacts are respectively. Traffic cores a and b coming from relay winding SR are switched through to the group selector via the already set contact arms va and vb of the preselector VW.
In the group selector, wire b has a positive potential in a known manner, so that the relays SR and V, which were previously at negative potential via the normally closed contact t2, are reversed.
The relay V, the winding I of which is in the traffic artery b, is made sensitive to the current direction in a known manner by a locally excited auxiliary winding II and is also designed as a delay relay by using copper damping or the like.
When the current in the winding of the relay SR is reversed, its armature sr goes from the incorrect rest position shown to the separating position, but this contact allocation has no effect on the state of the relay <I> ER, </I> because contact v, is still in the rest position for the first moment.
In the next moment, the contacts v "v2 and v3 are transferred, since the response time of the relay V is only slightly longer than that of the relay SR, but now a new excitation current for the left winding of the relay ER runs through the subscriber loop, which is now switched on instead of the replacement resistor W. The current intensity is also the same as before, since the resistor W is made approximately equal to the resistance of the subscriber loop.
For the subscriber loop itself, the closing of this circuit running over the left winding of the relay ER means a reversal of the previously existing current direction, since the working contact v, the changeover contact v2 and the break contact v #, represent a double-pole changeover switch that controls the The polarity of the Bat terie B with respect to the two wires of the double line leading to the subscriber is reversed.
The polarized switch-on relay E in the subscriber station TS is reversed as a result of this current reversal and closes a circuit for the auxiliary relay H, wel Ches from the light or power network N is fed. Through the contacts h2 and h. ;; the drive motor 1l1 of the telegraph apparatus in the subscriber station TS is also switched to the network N, so that the calling subscriber recognizes that the motor has been switched through to a free group selector when the motor starts up.
At the same time, the contact h, which with its normally closed contact cancels the short circuit for the receiving magnet EM and the Sendekon contact SK and with its working contact establishes a permanent bridging of the capacitor C, so that the call button RT can now be released.
If the call button is accidentally released earlier, the switching process will not be disturbed because the current reversal also occurs via the capacitor C and, with a suitable dimensioning of this capacitor, the charging current is sufficiently strong and of sufficiently long duration to be up to to move the contact h to ensure an excitation of sufficient strength for the relay ER.
Within the subscriber connection circuit <I> TA </I> in the exchange, the winding I of the call relay R was disconnected from the line by the contact v3 and immediately to earth at the same time as the current reversal in the subscriber loop controlling the remote switch-on placed.
At the same time, a circuit for winding II of relay R was closed via the second make contact v3, which, depending on the position of the contact <I> er </I> (separating layer), creates additional excitation for the call relay R, which leads to the excitation the winding I is added and is approximately the same size.
The calling subscriber can now start dialing, with the number disk contact ni generating pulsed interruptions in the subscriber loop in a known manner. In the same rhythm, the left winding of the relay ER is de-energized so that the contact <I> er </I> temporarily switches the pulses into the pulses several times under the influence of the locally excited right winding via the resistor T47 the character position shown goes.
In this case, a current in the opposite direction for winding II of relay R is switched on each time during the time that the contact is in the drawing position, so that the magnetic excitations of the cancel both windings and the relay would drop out. However, since the dialing pulses are only short and the contact in between always' occupies the separating position, the armature of the relay R remains drawn because the relay is designed as a delay relay.
The last dial pulse series finally reaches the preselector connection VW 'of the desired subscriber TS' and the test relay T 'is excited via the test wire c2', provided the subscriber connection is free. The response circuit for the test relay T 'runs in a known manner via the selector arms vc' and vd ', since the pre-selector is in the basic position when the participant is free.
Through the contact t, 'the incoming traffic artery b2 is connected to the contact e7' of the telegraph relay ER ', which is initially still in the wrong rest position.
The incoming traffic artery a = 'to the line winding I of the monitoring relay V' and to the winding of the telegraph relay SR 'is switched through through the contact t2 and this results in the reversal of the two relays by the negative potential switched on in the rest position of the contact t2' the positive potential at the outgoing end of the traffic artery a2 is replaced.
The contact sr 'of the telegraph relay SR' goes from the illustrated false rest position to the separation position, and the contacts v., ', V =' and v3 'are moved from the illustrated rest position into the working position in - which they are for the duration of the connection remain.
By means of the contacts v, ', v2' and v3, the polarity of the battery B 'is reversed in relation to the two wires of the double line leading to the subscriber, in a manner corresponding to that of the calling subscriber, so that the capacitor <B> C </B> in the subscriber station TS 'charged in the opposite direction and the switching relay E' is reversed by the charging current. The contact e 'switches the auxiliary relay H' to the network N, so that the motor M 'in the station of the required subscriber is now also started up by the contacts h.-' and lz3 '.
The operating state for the subscriber loop is established at the same time through the contact hl ', so that a continuous current now flows through the left winding of the relay <I> ER' </I>. The contact <I> he '</I> which-previously was moved from the illustrated incorrect rest position into the separating layer as a result of the charging current of the capacitor <B> C </B> flowing through the left winding of the relay ER' is now held in the separating position as long as the subscriber TS 'does not send any messages.
It should be noted that from the moment the traffic artery b2 'is switched through by the contact t,' until the contact <I> er '</I> is transferred to the separating layer, a certain, albeit short, time passes,
so that when the requested subscriber is reached, a minus pulse of limited length to the telegraph relay SR in the connection circuit <I> TA </I> of the calling subscriber runs back via the traffic artery b2 and finally, as a result of the transfer by the contact sr, the receiving magnet EM is temporarily de-energized initiated by the calling subscriber. Any character is written down so that the calling subscriber can recognize from this that the requested subscriber has been reached and is free.
In the outside line of the called subscriber, at the same time as the current reversal in the subscriber loop causing the remote switch-on, the excitation of relay R 'is brought about by contact v3' switching on a circuit for windings I and II of relay R '. In the separating layer of the contact <I> er '</I>, the two windings I and II are again equally strong and excited in the same sense, while the drop-out delay ensures that the relay in the event of a brief reversal of the excitation in the Winding Il does not come to waste.
The electrical circuit containing the equivalent resistor Wi is prepared by the contact ri of the relay R ', which circuit is intended to prevent the relay ER' from being reversed during the telegraphic traffic in each case in the drawing position of the contact sr '. The contact r4 'closes the circuit for the relay U' prepared by the contact t4 ', so that this relay picks up and via the' contact u1 'it is placed in a holding circuit independent of the relay T'.
In the selection <I> VW '</I> the contacts <I> r =' </I> and r3 'are closed. The contact t2 'is switched over and the contact u2' is open, so that nothing changes in the switching state of the relay T 'or the position of the preselector. During the telegraphic traffic that now follows, the telegraphic signs run along the flow paths marked by strong lines.
A signal current surge sent by the telegraph apparatus of the calling subscriber TS takes, for example, the following route: The send contact SK is opened according to the length of the signal current surge so that the subscriber loop is interrupted for the same time and the left winding of the relay ER is de-energized.
The contact <I> er </I> therefore goes into the illustrated position of the symbols for a corresponding period of time, so that across the contact t and the preselector arm, a minus pulse corresponds to the length in the traffic artery a,
is sent. On the side of the called subscriber, this minus pulse arrives via the traffic artery a2 'and is passed on via the contact t2' to the relay V 'and SR'. The relay V 'is not affected because it is provided with a dropout delay and the character current surge has only a short duration. The polarized telegraph relay SR 'on the other hand is reversed so that the contact sr' goes from the separating position to the position shown for the duration of the pulse.
For the relay ER ', the switched-off subscriber loop is replaced by a substitute resistor Wi, so that nothing changes in the state of excitation of the relay and a return of the pulse is avoided. On the other hand, when the subscriber loop becomes de-energized in the pulse, the receiving magnet becomes <I> EH '</I> in the station TS' and thereby causes the imprint of the character sent by the: station TS.
The transmission of characters in the opposite direction of traffic takes place in exactly the same way, so that there is no need to repeat the individual processes.
After the traffic has ended, one of the two stations involved will give the final draw by pressing and holding the final key ST or. ST 'a power interruption is caused whose length is greater than the duration of the longest interruption occurring in the signal traffic.
The actuation of the end button ST in the station TS of the calling subscriber has, as already said, a loop interruption of greater length, so that the contact is in accordance with the de-energization of the left winding of the relay ER for a correspondingly long time Darge presented character position goes.
In this position, as already described above, a current flow is generated in the winding II of the relay R, the effect of which is the same as, but opposite to the effect of the current flow in the winding I. Since the switching of the contact <I> er </I> takes place for a sufficiently long time when the final signal is given, the dropout delay of relay R is overcome and the anchor of the relay can drop.
By opening the contact r, a re-excitation is immediately prevented, which could come about in the event of an incoming in this moment, the relay SR reversing character pulse as a result of re-excitation of the left winding of the relay ER via the equivalent resistor W.
In the preselector circuit VW, the contacts r2 and r3 are opened again, so that the circuit running through the contact r, for the winding I of the test relay T is interrupted and the test relay thus drops out. The opening of contact rd causes the relay U to de-energize, so that contact u2 is closed again. This does not produce any effect because contact r3, which is in series with contact itz, is already open.
When the test relay T drops out, the contact t3 returns to the rest position shown, so that a circuit for the rotary magnet D is closed via the contact arm standing on the segment that passes through the segment, and the preselector is thus controlled in a familiar manner. The contact t2 again applies the local negative potential corresponding to the quiescent state of the circuit to the winding I of the delay relay V and the winding of the telegraph relay SR, so that both relays are controlled by.
First, the control of the relay SR takes place, since this relay is a fast-working telegraph relay; however, the relay ER is prevented from being influenced by the contact sr returning to the illustrated false rest position, because, as already mentioned, the contact r1 is open.
After that, with a certain delay, the relay V falls, so that the contacts v "v2 and 7) 3 also assume the rest position shown. Flier- at is:
through the contacts v2 and v3, the battery B is connected to the subscriber loop again with opposite polarity, so that the switch-on relay E is reset and the auxiliary relay H is disconnected from the network N by the contact e according to the change in the current direction.
When relay H drops, the drive motor iYl is stopped by opening contacts h2 and h3, while contact hl again maintains the galvanic interruption of the subscriber loop.
Since the relays E and H drop out quickly, the relay R cannot respond again even if the final button is released before the relay H drops out. The necessary security is achieved by the response delay of the relay R, which is already present and may need to be increased.
When the test relay T in the preselector circuit of the calling subscriber drops out, the contact t1, which is in the traffic artery ctl, is finally opened again. In the time until the test relay T drops out, however, the final signal pulse runs through the traffic artery a1 to the called subscriber, since the contact has been constantly in the wrong shown mode since the final signal was given Is in rest position.
The length of this secondary signal pulse, which is to be dealt with in more detail below, is thus determined by the sum of the fall times of the relays R and T.
It should be noted that two processes now run alongside each other during the connection release. As just mentioned, the final character in the pulse for connecting the called subscriber is transmitted via the traffic artery a1 and is received here by the relays SR 'and V'.
At the same time, the triggering of the various selectors used in the connection is controlled via the test wire cl, which is interrupted in the manner described above when the relay R drops out, so that finally the incoming test wire e2 'in the preselector circuit VW' from the line selector of the called subscriber is also interrupted and thus the test relay T 'at the called subscriber is deenergized.
Here, since the circuit of the test relay T 'contacts the call relay R' assigned to the subscriber being called are located and this relay is in a switching state corresponding to the call state for a certain time, if the relay U 'is not used, the risk of a Incorrect assignment of the preselector VW 'exist if the final drop of the relay R' occurs later than the de-energization of the relay T '. These two processes, namely on the one hand the de-energization of the relay R' and on the other hand that of the relay T 'are, as already mentioned ,
not necessarily time-dependent, since the de-excitation of relay T 'via the test wire from the preselector of the calling subscriber and that of relay R' via a traffic artery from the outgoing end of this traffic artery are the telegraph relay contact <I> er < / I> is controlled from and with the assistance of the relay connection circuit <I> TA '</I> of the called subscriber.
The on the traffic artery a, 'incoming .Schschlusszeichenimpuls is received in the manner already indicated by the relay V' and SR ', so that the direction of flow by returning the contacts sr', v, ', v2 and v3 in the rest position shown in the participant loop to station TOS! ' conversely, and in the subscriber station TS 'the switch-on relay E' is brought back into the switch-off position.
The relay H ', which is de-energized again by resetting the contact e', now switches the contacts lag 'and the motor M' off again from the network N and galvanically interrupts the subscriber loop by means of the contact hl ', so that the idle state for the Loop re-established and relay R 'is brought to waste.
It is easy to see that in the time from the fall of the relay V 'to the resetting of the contact hl' the same Schaltzu stood for the subscriber loop as it is present during the call process.
During this time, the contacts are r. ' and r3 'in the circuit of the test relay T' is still closed, so that if the contact u2 'would be missing, if the relay T' drops prematurely via the break contact t.3 ', the stimulus circuit of the preselector VW' until the relay drops out R 'would be closed: earth, contact arm vd', working contact r, ', normally closed contact t3', rotary magnet <I> D ', </I> breaker RU', battery, earth.
The preselection would therefore start and occupy a free group selector in the outgoing direction, although the participant did not initiate a connection.
This risk of incorrect assignment of the preselector VW 'is now completely eliminated by the use of the relay U', because the contact u2 'of this relay blocks the incentive circuit of the preselector until the idle state of the subscriber connection circuit is finally restored, i.e. until it is eliminated the possibility of restoring the call status. For this purpose, the relay U ', as mentioned earlier, is switched so that after it has been energized, it is no longer dependent on the relay T', but only on the relay R '.
This is achieved by switching the normally open contact r4 into the circuit of the relay U ', which keeps the relay U' energized until the relay R 'has dropped out. The stimulus circuit of the preselector is therefore inevitably kept open when the connection is triggered, since contact iz-2 'can only close when contact r ..' is already open.
This mode of operation of the relay U 'is, as already said above, essential only for the triggering on the part of the calling party. Nevertheless, for the sake of completeness, the switching processes that take place when the called party is triggered should also be discussed.
As soon as the called subscriber TS 'presses his or her closing key <B> ST' </B>, the relay <I> ER '</I> is reversed in the associated exchange connectioni TA' and, if the line interruption is long enough, the call relay excited during the connection R 'brought to the fall, since the counter-excitation can now have an effect through the winding II controlled by the contact er'.
The contact <I> he '</I> at the same time passes on the final character pulse to the exchange line <I> TA </I> of the calling subscriber, specifically via wire b,', which is transmitted via the switching means of the selector circuit W with the incoming telegraph line b ,. is connected on the side of the calling subscriber.
The relays V and SB are therefore reversed by the final character pulse and cause the reversal of the relay E and consequently the shutdown of the station TS by reversing the current within the subscriber loop. The relay R now also comes to waste, since the contact v3 returns to the rest position shown and the subscriber loop has been galvanically interrupted by the disconnection process in the subscriber station TS.
The drop in relay R then causes the relays <I> T </I> and <I> U </I> to drop out, of which relay T causes the preselector VW to run back and the switching contacts are disconnected , and t2 controls.
In connection with this triggering of the preselector, the triggering of the other selector stages is also controlled via the test wire c, so that finally the incoming test wire c_ 'in the preselector circuit <I> VW' </I> of the called subscriber from the line selector also interrupted and thus the test relay T 'at the called subscriber is deenergized.
Here at the through contacts t, 'and tr' are now also opened on the side of the called NEN subscriber, so that here too the illustrated idle state of the circuit is restored after a local circuit for the relays V 'and SR' via contact t2 had been closed.
Relay U 'was already triggered when the calling relay R' was de-energized as a result of the final signal given by the called subscriber, so in this case, in contrast to the previously described triggering when the final signal was given by the calling subscriber, no special function.
Nonetheless, its use is conditioned by the peculiarity of the circuit, which consists in the fact that in each case, i.e. when the calling party gives the final signal as well as the called party’s final signal, the selection steps are triggered by the preselector on the side of the calling party Participant takes from its beginning (so-called pure forward triggering),
because only then (when the calling subscriber issues the final signal) do the triggering difficulties arise in the exchange line of the called subscriber, the elimination of which is the purpose of the invention.
Nevertheless, the invention is of course not limited to the illustrated Ausführungsbei game, rather its application always comes into question when in telegraph systems with pure forward triggering the triggering controlled by the final signaling of the calling subscriber uses two different parallel paths and with the restoration of the idle state for the connection circuit of the called subscriber can temporarily run through a switching state corresponding to the call state.
The greater the delay times of the switching means in the connection circuit of the called subscriber, the greater the risk of false triggering. If, for example, in the circuit shown, the release time of the relay V 'is greater than the sum of the release times of the relays R and T on the side of the calling subscriber, there is even the risk that the relay V', its release by the Final signal pulse sent by the contact <I> er </I> following the calling subscriber, via traffic artery a (the length of which, as explained above, is equal to the sum of the release times of the relays R and T)
is effected, only after the transfer of the contact t2 transfers its contacts, whereby the restoration of the idle state of the subscriber connection circuit <I> TA '</I> is caused. In this case, there is a state corresponding to the call state, namely that relay R 'is addressed while relay T' has dropped out at the same time, during a time which depends on the sum of the drop times of relays V 'and R'.
Another reason for a greater delay in the relapse of the relay R 'on the side of the called subscriber can also exist if the called subscriber is a remote subscriber who is via a duplex line BEZW in a system with pure forward tripping. a four-wire circuit larger rer length with relay relay at both ends is connected to the office.
In this case, the relay termination circuit in the exchange must be designed in such a way that when it receives the final signal pulse given by the calling subscriber, it first sends a remote switch-off pulse via the transmission circuit of the long-distance line system leading to the calling subscriber, while the in the exchange is reset Relay R 'located only depending on the return pulse sent back by the subscriber after the remote switch-off device and arriving via the receiving circuit of the Fernlei processing system is brought to waste.
In this case, the delay of the relay A 'is added to the duration of the remote switch-off pulse from the exchange transmission to the remote participant and the duration of the return pulse confirming the complete switch-off of the remote participant from him to the exchange transmission.
But also for a circuit as indicated in the exemplary embodiment of the main patent, that is to say for a circuit. in which the call relay R on the side of the called subscriber during the connection establishment and during the existing connection is not energized at all, the invention has meaning, namely when a temporary Erre as a result of the working hours of the relay in the subscriber line of the called NEN subscriber the call relay during the process of the connection release is possible.
This possibility is given in the circuit according to the embodiment of the main patent insofar as there also in the time from the fall of the delay relay controlled by the running end signal pulse to the separation of the loop within the subscriber station, a switching state corresponding to the call status of the subscriber loop, that is there is a closed circuit for the call relay.
During this short time, the call relay can respond temporarily, so that the incentive circuit of the preselector is closed for the called subscriber and the preselector is unnecessarily occupied if the test relay of this preselector has already dropped out.
Here, too, the invention can be used again to avoid such difficulties by providing switching means which prevent incorrect assignment of the preselector until the relays of the subscriber line circuit have been reset.
