      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr.<B>177581.</B>         Verfahren    zur Darstellung eines     Azofarbstoffes.       Das vorliegende Verfahren betrifft die  Darstellung eines violetten     Acetatseiderifarb-          stoffes    und ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass  man     diazotiertes        6-Brom-2,4-dinitroanilin    mit       ss,y-Dioxypropyl-2-naphtylamin    kuppelt.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    Man löst 26,2 Teile     6-Brom-2,4-.dinitro-          anilin    in 135 Teilen     konzentrierter    Schwefel  säure von 60   und versetzt die Lösung lang  sam mit 6,9 Teilen scharf getrocknetem  Nitrit zwischen 60 bis<B>70'.</B> Nach einiger       Zeit    kühlt man ab auf 20  , giesst die Masse  auf zerstossenes Eis und verdünnt mit Eis  wasser bis auf 1500 Teile. Die     Diazolösung     wird in eine eiskalte Lösung von     2:1,7    Teilen       ss,y-I)ioxypropyl-2-naphtylamin    in 500 Tei  len Wasser und 13 Teilen 30%iger Salz  säure einlaufen gelassen. Die Kupplung ist  nach kurzer     Zeit    beendet.

   Der ausgeschie  dene Farbstoff färbt nach geeigneter Disper-         gierung        Aoetatseide    aus dem Seifenbade in  violett-blauen Tönen an. Er stellt ein  schwarzbraunes Pulver dar, welches sich in  organischen Lösungsmitteln mit rotvioletter  und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit  oranger Farbe löst.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines violetten Acetatseidenfarbstoffes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man diazotiertes 6-Brom-2,4- dinitroanilin mit ss,y-Dioxypropyl-2-naph- tylamin kuppelt. Der Farbstoff stellt ein schwarzbraunes Pulver dar, welches sich in organischen Lö sungsmitteln mit rot-violetter und in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure mit oranger Farbe löst. Er färbt nach geeigneter Dispergierung Acetatseide aus dem Seifenbade in violett blauen Tönen an. PATENT CLAIM: Process for the preparation of a violet acetate silk dye, characterized in that diazotized 6-bromo-2,4-dinitroaniline is coupled with ss, γ-dioxypropyl-2-naphthylamine. The dye is a black-brown powder, which dissolves in organic solvents with red-violet and in concentrated sulfuric acid with an orange color.
