Device for transmitting fixed or moving images, in which a cathode ray tube is used and, together with the image currents, synchronization pulses are transmitted, which are differentiated as lines and image pulses. The invention relates to a device for transmitting fixed or moving images, in which synchronizing pulses are sent out together with the image flowing. In the known systems who these pulses BEZW at the end of the scanning of each line. every whole picture he generates and, from this point of view, differentiated as line and picture impulses.
The duration of the line pulses is limited by the time between the scanning of two consecutive lines and the duration of the picture pulses limited by the time between the scanning of two consecutive images generally comprises the scanning time of a few lines.
In a television system in which a cathode ray tube is used to scan the images to be transmitted or transmitted, the line and image pulses control the device that accomplishes the scanning movements of the cathode ray bundle. Such systems, however, have the disadvantage that when an image pulse occurs, the device controlled by the line pulses is not supplied with line pulses v = approximately the duration of the image pulses, so that the operation of this device is disturbed.
According to the invention, this disadvantage is partially eliminated in that image pulses are generated which each consist of a number of short pulses that are: separated by line pulses. This ensures that line pulses are also generated during the duration of the image pulses, the frequency in which the image pulses are interrupted is not disruptive to the device controlled by the image pulses, since this frequency of. the natural frequency of this device is too far away.
The present invention is particularly important for use in television systems in which the scan lines of two successive images coincide.
In these systems, the time between the last line pulse of an image and the image pulse generated at the end of the scanning of this image is different for two successive images, in such a way that this time duration for the images scanned in uneven order, that is, in the case of images 1, 3, 5, etc., the scanning time of a line, in the case of the images scanned in straight order, that is, in the case of images 2, 4, 6, etc., half of the scanning time of a line corresponds approximately to .
As a result, these systems also have the disadvantage that in the output circuit of the filter used to separate the line and image pulses, the odd image pulses that are generated at the end of the scanning of the odd images, i.e. at the end of the scanning of the images 1, 3, 5 etc., have a different shape than the straight image pulses that are given at the end of the scanning of the images 2, 4, 6 etc.,.
As a result, the time difference between each two successive image pulses is different, with the result that the scanning lines of two successive images no longer coincide exactly between one another.
This disadvantage can be eliminated in systems in which the above-mentioned scanning method is carried out by the fact that image pulses are generated which consist of a number of short pulses separated by pulses whose shape is that of the line pulses and whose frequency is twice the frequency corresponds to the line pulses, and these pulses are also generated at twice the frequency during the scanning of the last and the first image lines of each image. The invention is explained in more detail in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment.
1 shows an embodiment of a device by means of which synchronization pulses can be generated; Fig. 2 is a detailed illustration of this device.
The mode of operation of the exemplary embodiment is explained in FIGS. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
In Fig. 1, a disc 54 is shown, in the close to the circumference a number of openings Publ -78 are attached, which are used in a known manner to generate line pulses and the -der, the scanning movement in the direction of the image lines controlling before direction are fed. At the end of the scanning of each image, an image pulse is generated by means of one of the openings 80 or 82 and is supplied to the device controlling the scanning movement in a direction perpendicular to the image lines. In a single revolution of the disk 54, two successive images are scanned.
The openings 78 are arranged such that when the disk 54 moves in the direction of the arrow, the scan lines of two successive images fall between one another.
The openings 80 and 82 are interrupted, namely. In such a way that by means of an opening 78 during the time in which an image pulse occurs, a: line pulse it can be generated (Fig. 2).
In addition, in the given embodiment intended for the scanning system specified in the introduction, openings 84 and / or. 86, which .the same shape and distance as the openings 7: 8 have, in the space between the openings 80 respectively. 8 \ ?, and between the 80 respectively in the vicinity of the opening. 82 lying openings 7.8 is introduced.
In television broadcasting and receiving systems with a cathode ray tube, it is common to bezw the cathode ray bundle between the scanning of two successive gender lines. Suppress images. 1) If an interrupted image pulse is generated in the device according to the invention, it is expediently not used to suppress the cathode ray beam between the scanning of two successive images.
For this purpose, the openings 104 are provided in the disk 54, through which a pulse is generated which suppresses the cathode ray beam during the time between the scanning of two successive lines, while the opening 106 respectively. 108 for generating a cathode ray beam during the time between the scanning of two successive images. Serves.
In a known way, the pulses 104, 106 and 108 for regulating the average brightness of the received image and for suppressing between the scanning of two successive lines or. Images in the image streams occurring disturbances are applied.
In FIG. 9, the image pulses generated at the end of the sampling of each odd image are denoted by 80x, while in FIG. 4 the pulses generated at the end of the scanning of the even images are denoted by 82x.
From .den Fig. 3 and 4 it can be seen that the time between a pulse 80x and the last pulse 78x is greater than the time between a pulse 82x and the last pulse 78x. The effect of this device is shown in FIG. 5, in which the solid line 135 represents the waveform of the voltage occurring in the output circuit of a filter separating the image pulses from the line pulses as a function of the time after the scanning of an odd image the dashed line 137 represents the waveform of the voltage after scanning a straight image.
As a result of the delay exhibited by virtually every filter, the shape of the curves 135 and 137 is different, so that the image pulses 80y and 8? Y have a different shape. The time difference between two successive image pulses is different as a result of the fact that the scanning lines of two successive images in the receiver do not exactly fall between each other.
In FIG. 6, the pulses generated at the end of the fasting from an odd image with the device shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 are denoted by 80a. The pulses generated at the end of the scanning of a straight image are denoted by 82a in FIG.
As a result of the subdivision of the openings -80 and 82 in the disk 54, the pulses 80a and 8.2a are interrupted. During the interruption time, the pulses 78a are generated which, together with the line pulses 7.8x, control the movement of the device producing the scanning movement in the direction of the scanning lines. This prevents the operation of this device from being disturbed by the lack of control pulses.
In addition, due to the openings 84 respectively. 86 pulses 84a or 86a generated, which correspond to the shape of the line pulses, and which occur at a point in time at which the line pulses would occur if the frequency of these pulses during the duration of the image pulses 80a respectively. -82a and the scanning time of some image lines would be doubled.
If the pulses shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 are fed to a filter which separates the line pulses from the image pulses, the symmetry of the image pulses with respect to the line pulses is greater, so that the curve shape of the one occurring in the output circuit of the filter and shown in FIG The voltage denoted by 80z almost corresponds to the curve shape of the voltage 82z occurring at the end of the scanning of a straight image during the time in which the line pulses are generated at twice the frequency.
As a result, the curve shape of the image pulses in the output circuit of the filter is almost always the same, so that the correct arrangement of the image lines in two successive images is obtained.
