Verfahren zur Herstellung von Asphaltlösungen. Gegenstand er Erfindung ist ein Ver fahren zur Herstellung von Asphaltlösungen unter Verwendung von benzinunlöslichem Naturasphalt und flüchtigen Lösungsmitteln. Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als wesentlicher Bestandteil des Lösungs mittels Benzine verwendet werden, ,denen geringe Mengen flüchtiger karbonyltragen- der Verbindungen zugesetzt werden, die an sich Naturasphalt nicht lösen.
Die Möglich keit, anstatt der bisher zum Lösen von Naturasphalt gebräuchlichen Benzolkohlen- wasserstoffe Paraffinkohlenwasserstoffe ver wenden zu können, bietet vor allem :den Vor teil, dass die Benzinlösungen höheren Ge brauchswert besitzen, da die entwickelten Dämpfe im Gegensatz zu Benzollösungen nicht giftig sind. Die gemäss dem vorliegen den Verfahren erhaltenen Naturasphalt lösungen können in gewohnter Weise Ver wendung finden, zum Beispiel als Anstrich-, Binde- oder Imprägniermittel.
Selbstver- ständlich können die dabei verwendeten Lö sungen die gebräuchlichen Zusätze, zum Beispiel Pigmente, Füllmittel, trocknende Öle, Harze und dergleichen, sowie noch an dere übliche Lösungsmittel enthalten.
Im folgenden werden einige Beispiele zur Ausübung des Verfahrens angeführt: Man löst 20 bis 40 Gewichtsteile Natur asphalt in Lösungsmittelgemischen, welche bestehen aus:

Process for the production of asphalt solutions. The object of the invention is a process for the production of asphalt solutions using gasoline-insoluble natural asphalt and volatile solvents. The method is characterized in that gasoline is used as an essential component of the solution, to which small amounts of volatile carbonyl-bearing compounds are added that do not dissolve natural asphalt.
The option of using paraffinic hydrocarbons instead of the benzene hydrocarbons previously used to dissolve natural asphalt offers above all: The advantage that the gasoline solutions are more useful because the vapors that are developed are not toxic, in contrast to benzene solutions. The natural asphalt solutions obtained according to the present process can be used in the usual way, for example as a paint, binding agent or impregnating agent.
