Timepiece. The invention relates to a timepiece comprising a watch with a mainspring, mounted on a support cruelly performs a continuous rotational movement on itself, under the action of an electric motor.
Timepieces of this type have already been constructed, in particular as objects of advertising and exhibition, in which the rotating watch is constituted by an exact reproduction, on a large scale, of a watch from Mark. However, these large format watches feature a winding mechanism. manual control that needs to be wound up frequently and regularly, using a key, so that the driving force of the spring is more or less constant.
The timepiece according to the invention is characterized in that the electric motor also controls the device for winding the mainspring, by means of a secondary mechanism with speed-reducing gears, the simultaneous controls. of the watch and of its remounting device being combined so that the tension of the mainspring of the watch is practically constant.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows it in front elevation, while FIG. 2 shows in section and on a larger scale the base supporting the rotating watch and containing its entire control mechanism.
Zinc large-scale reproduction of a watch of shape, 3, of the wristwatch type is fixed, by its case 3 ', on a sleeve 4 keyed on a hollow vertical shaft 5. The sleeve 4 rests on a stop ring 6 wedged on shaft 5; it has at its base a collar 5 'surrounded by a ferrule fitted on the cylindrical neck 9' of a hollow base 9. In the neck 9 'is adjusted the shaft 5 by means of two ball bearings 7. L 'hollow shaft 5 is intended to communicate to the box 3', respectively to the watch 3, a continuous rotational movement on itself, by means of the bush 4 driven in rotation by the key 4 '. This shaft 5 provides passage to the control shaft 8 of the watch winding device, 10 of which designates the barrel ratchet.
This ratchet engages in the double-toothed pinion 11 of an angle gear comprising the pinions 11 and 11 ', the latter of which is keyed on the upper end of the shaft 8 adjusted by its lower pivot, in a plate 12 , by means of a ball bearing block 13. The plate 1.2 is fixed, by screws 14, to lugs 15 produced by the base 9 and supports a small electric motor 16 intended to be connected to an electric circuit light current, by means of a plug socket.
A bush 17, driven on the shaft 8, rests, by means of a ball bearing, against the pinion 18 of the shaft 8. This pinion 18 is controlled by the shaft 16 'of the motor. electric 16, by means of a speed reduction mechanism. For this purpose, the shaft 16 'carries a fixed pinion 19 meshing with a sun gear 20 mounted on the plate 12, by means of a ball bearing 21 and a plate 22 embedded and fixed by screws in the plate 12. The wheel 20 carries an axis 23 on which is mounted a satellite pinion 24 which is integral with a pin gnon 25. These pinions mesh respectively, the first in a fixed ring gear 26, and the other in a toothed wheel 27.
The toothed ring 26 is fixed in a bridge 28 which is integral with the plate 12, while the wheel 27 is mounted by its axis 29 and by means of two ball bearings 30, 31, in a bore of the ring 26. On the axis 29 is keyed a toothed wheel 32 which controls the pinion 18, by means of a return 33 mounted, by means of a ball bearing 34, on a pin 35 fixed in the bridge 28. The pinion 18 meshes with a - toothed gear 36 integral with a toothed wheel 36 'which is mounted, using ball bearings 38, on a pin 37 fixed in the plate 12. In the wheel 36 'engages a sliding pinion 39 driving in rotation, by means of a key 40, the bush 17 and the shaft 8.
A fork 41, pivoted at 42, is engaged in a circular groove 43 of the pinion 39 and allows the latter to be manually disengaged from the wheel 36 ', so that the secondary mechanism 39, 8, 11', 11, 10 is not no longer powered by the engine 16.
The operation of the clock part described is as follows: The mainspring of watch 3 is first wound by hand by means of its winding crown or by means of a key. To this end, it is necessary to first disengage the secondary mechanism, by disengaging the wheel 36 'and the sliding pinion 39 from each other. After having engaged the pinion 39 again, the electric motor 16 is turned on. The result is that the pinion 19 rotates the planetary wheel 20 with the two pinions 24, 25. The pinion 24, meshing with the ring gear 26, rotates around the latter, while the pinion 25 rotates around the ring. toothed wheel 27.
However, the pinion 25 has at least one tooth more than the pinion 24, which causes the toothed wheel 27 to receive a relatively slow rotational movement, the planetary gear effecting a reduction in speed in a ratio of 14: 1 for example. The wheel 27 therefore communicates a relatively slow rotational movement to the watch 3, by means of the toothed wheel 32, the return 33, the pin 18, the shaft 5 and the sleeve 4. D 'on the other hand, the pinion 18 controls the barrel rock 10, via the return 36, the wheel 36', the balancer pinion 39, the shaft 8 and the angle gearing. 11 ', 11.
The speed ratio between the mobile 8 and the barrel ratchet 10 is established so that the barrel spring has a practically constant tension and hence an invariable motor potential, corresponding to its initial degree of winding. This initial reassembly can be total or partial.
The timepiece, object of the invention, may include a round watch or any other shape, single or double face and whose axis of rotation could be located either in a vertical plane or in a horizontal plane; it could constitute a sign, with or without artificial lighting of the dial (s) of the rotating watch.
