Metal ski pole. Metal ski poles are already known. A common model is illustrated in Fig. 1 of the accompanying drawings partially in longitudinal section. In this case, a wooden insert 2 is inserted into the lower end of the pole shaft consisting of a light metal tube 1, which is held in the tube by the flanged end of a metal sleeve placed on the lower end of the same. The tip of the ski pole 4 is screwed into this wooden insert by means of a wood screw thread. These poles have the disadvantage that the tip of the ski pole loosens after a very short time and is very often lost.
In addition, these sticks are still relatively heavy due to the attachment of the metal sleeve.
To eliminate these drawbacks is the purpose of the present invention. According to the same, a metal insert body, in which the tip of the ski pole is interchangeably arranged, is firmly inserted into the lower end of the tubular shaft made of a high-quality light metal. As a high-quality light metal for the shaft, Avional or another light metal that has at least the same strength properties as the Avional is preferred. The insert body expediently consists of the same metal as the shaft, but it could also consist of a different metal.
The insert body is preferably fastened in the shaft by soldering. However, it could also be connected to the shaft in some other way.
An embodiment of the subject invention illustrates partially in longitudinal section FIG. 2 of the accompanying drawings.
In the lower end of the tubular, consisting of Avional shaft 5 is the A set body 6, which is also made of Avional be, soldered. The insert body has a central longitudinal bore 7 which is provided with an internal thread. In this hole designed as a screw Ver extension 8 of the ski pole tip 9 is screwed. 10 is the hole for the plate's fastening pin.
Since the described ski pole, apart from the tip, made entirely of light metal, e.g. B. Avional exists, it has the advantage of being light in addition to the known strength properties of this mate rials. Since the tip of the ski pole is screwed into a metal body by means of a metal screw, this creates a connection between the tip and the pole. achieved which, as tests have shown, almost completely prevents automatic loosening of the same. Nevertheless, if the tip is worn it is easily possible to replace it with a new one.
