  Verfahren zur Herstellung des     4-Triünormethyl-2-aminophenylmethylsulfons:       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpa  tentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des       4-Trifluormethyl-2-amirrophenylmethylsulfons,     welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man  ein Salz der     4-Trifluormethyl-2-nitrophenyl-          sulfonylessigsäure    durch Erhitzen in wässe  riger, schwach alkalischer Lösung in das  4 -     Trifluormethyl    - 2 -     nitrophenyl        methylsulfon     überführt und dieses reduziert.  



  Die so erhaltene Verbindung soll als  Zwischenprodukt für die Herstellung von       Farbstoffen    Verwendung finden.    scheidet sich bereits beim Kochen in kristal  liner Form ab. Nach Beendigung der Reak  tion lässt man erkalten, saugt ab und wäscht  mit Wasser nach. Man erhält in sehr guter  Ausbeute das     4-Trifluorrnetliyl-2-nitrophenyl-          methyIsulfon    vom Schmelzpunkt     150-1510    C.  



  Durch Reduktion nach den üblichen Me  thoden wird daraus das bisher nicht bekannte  4 -     Trifluormethyl-2-aminopheny        lmethylsulfon     vom Schmelzpunkt 94-95   C hergestellt.
