Housing for wobble piston machines. The invention relates to a Ge housing for wobble piston machines. In the previously known wobble piston machines, in which a wobble piston is mounted in a spherical housing at an angle to the drive shaft and prevented from rotating, there was the disadvantage that the machine caused noises during operation that increased sharply with speed.
These noises were due to the way the liquid was guided in the working space of the wobble piston and in the housing. If, in a wobble piston machine, which in almost all cases is double-acting, the delivery fluid is diverted from the inlet nozzle to the outlet nozzle, then the maximum flow rate on both the suction and pressure side of the machine is alternately on both sides of the wobble piston so that the column of liquid on the suction side tears off easily, causing water hammers to act, which caused the above-mentioned noise formation.
Furthermore, in the known wobble piston machines, the inlet and outlet openings were chosen to be relatively small and in the most cases corresponded to an opening angle of <B> 60 '</B> (based on the center point of the housing with the partition as the zero point). Accordingly, the working space of the machine had to be filled while the piston was passing or when the piston swung past this small inlet opening and, conversely, it had to be emptied at the outlet opening.
This increases the above-mentioned maximum flow velocities on both sides of the wobble piston and thus increases the noise. So there was a constant conversion of flow energy into pressure energy and vice versa in the work area, which caused the machine to work abruptly.
These disadvantages of the known wobble piston machines are avoided according to the invention in that the inlet and outlet nozzles for the conveyed liquid open into special guide spaces that encompass the working space of the machine, the whole thing in such a way that the spaces on both The sides of the wobble piston compensate for the flow velocities of the liquid and the pumping medium settles down.
The larger these guide rooms are selected, the sooner and the more noiselessly the compensation of the speeds in these rooms will take place. The openings of the guide spaces towards the work space can encompass the work space up to <B> 180 '</B>, for which angle the partition between the suction and pressure space of the machine is the zero point.
With larger angles, a direct connection between the suction and pressure side of the machine would be established. In order to keep the flow cross-section from the guide spaces to the working space of the machine as large as possible, the opening edges of the guide spaces can be laid out laterally in the extreme case so that they
cover the circumferential edges of the wobble piston in its two outermost positions. It follows from this that the passage opening has to taper off to a point.
The wobble pistons working in the housing according to the invention can otherwise have any shape, so they can be provided with parallel, outwardly converging conveying surfaces or outwardly diverging conveying surfaces. Furthermore, as with all previously known wobble piston machines, the pistons
roll with linear contact on the side walls of the housing or can lie flat against the side walls, which then have to rotate with the drive shaft.
In the drawing, the object of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, namely: Fig. 1 shows a vertical axis section through the housing, Fig. 2 the same vertical axis section with the wobble piston inserted into the housing and the drive elements, Fig. 8 a vertical one Cross section according to Fig. 1,
Fig. 4 is a plan view of the lower part of the housing, Fig. 5 is a partial section through a wobble piston with inserted guide pin that engages with a slot over the partition, Fig. 6 is a plan view of the partition with the circumferential guide surface for the Piston inserted pin.
The housing of the wobble piston machine consists in a known manner of two parts, namely the lower part 1 and the upper part 2. The interior of the housing 1, 2 is spherical. The housing is laterally provided with two flanges a and 4 for mounting the drive shaft 5. The drive shaft 5 terminates in spherical caps 6, which in turn are provided with truncated cones 7 in the direction of the Kugelzen center.
Between the two truncated cones 7 a flattened ball 8 is easily seen, which has a recess in which the wobble piston 9 is superimposed obliquely to the drive shaft ge. The wobble piston 9 has a cylindrical bore in which a pin 10 is rotatably mounted. This pin 10 engages with a slot over a partition 11 which is fixedly arranged in the housing 1, 2 and through which the working space of the machine is divided into suction and pressure space.
The working space is otherwise limited by the conical surfaces 7, the spherical housing wall and the surface of the spherical wobble piston carrier 8.
On the one hand, in order to keep the partition wall 11 as small as possible in its thickness, so that a sufficiently strong wall of the pin 10 is achieved, a guide surface must be provided on the other hand for this pin 10 on the circumference, since the narrow inward-facing surface of the partition wall 11 otherwise through which the pin 10 is subject to strong wear during the oscillating movement due to forced large centrifugal forces.
This aforementioned circumferential guide surface for the pin consists of two spherical surface pieces 12 which adjoin the partition wall 11 on the left and right and which absorb the circumferential forces of the pin 10.
The width of the guide surfaces 12, which corresponds approximately to the diameter of the pin 10, decreases at the ends of the partition 11 except for the smallest thickness of the wall lying between the nozzle 13 and 14, which corresponds to the thickness of the partition 11, because otherwise would in the outermost positions of the wobble piston 9 conveying liquid is located between the conveying surfaces of the wobble piston and the side walls 7 of the housing, which cannot flow out if,
the spherical guide surfaces 12 also have the average width at the ends of the partition 11. So it is here that pinches are avoided and the liquid can get into the guide spaces without interference. The spherical guide surfaces 12 form a whole with the partition 11 and are set as a plate (Fig. 2 and 3) by means of a bolt 16 in the housing, but they can also be worked out directly from the housing, while the partition 11 in the housing can be attached at will.
Two guide spaces 17 and 18 are provided between the work space, the machine and the two nozzles 13 and 14. The guide spaces 17 and 18 (Fig. 3) run spirally around the work space and are bounded by the ganten 19, 20 and 21, 22 be.
The volume of the guide spaces 17 and 18 is a multiple of the stroke volume of the working space and the larger these guide spaces are selected, the better the calming of the conveyed liquid, which is set in strong vortex movement by the maximum flow speeds caused by the wobble piston movement. The guide spaces 17 and 18 may encompass the working space at most with an angle α of 180, the partition 11 being the zero point of this angle.
If the angle a is greater than <B> 180 '</B>, there would be a direct overflow of the liquid from the pressure chamber to the suction chamber of the masohine, since in such a case the chambers 17 and 18 would unite in the lowest vertex of the working chamber, and therefore the liquid would pass directly from one nozzle into the other, i.e. the machine would not be able to deliver in this case.
The opening edges 20, 20 respectively. 22, 22 (FIG. 1) run at an acute angle that is given by the inclined position of the wobble piston 9. The passage cross-section from the guide spaces 17, 18 to the working space of the machine will be true through the two outermost layers of the wobble piston 9, namely the opening edges 20, 20 respectively. 22, 22 (Fig. 1 and 2)
in the extreme case coincide with the peripheral edges of the wobble piston in its two outermost positions. This passage opening must not be chosen to be larger, since otherwise the liquid would also pass directly from the pressure side to the suction side of the machine. The passage opening can always be chosen to be smaller.
The functioning of the wobble piston machine is as follows: When the wobble piston 9 oscillates, the liquid on the suction side is sucked into the working space of the machine, namely from the inlet connection 13 into the guide space 17 and from there into the Working area of the machine.
On the pressure side, conversely, the liquid is pressed into the guide space 18 and from there into the pressure port 14. As a result of the piston acting on both sides, the maximum flow velocities are alternately on both sides of the piston.
The flow velocities of the liquid occurring simultaneously on both sides of the wobble piston can now be balanced out in the guide spaces 17 and 18, the volume of which is a multiple of the stroke volume, so that the liquid settles down and great energy losses are avoided . The walls 23 of the guide spaces (FIGS. 1 and 4) have only a slight inclination towards the drive shaft 5 at the transition from the guide spaces to the work space.
Through this form. the walls 28 is the most favorable transition of the liquid from the working space in. The guide space BEZW. vice versa guaranteed. Due to the arrangement of such guide spaces 17 and 18, the liquid can no longer tear keitssäule on the suction side and no large shock losses can result on the pressure side.
