Description
Closure on tabs for paint, pastes, glue, cream, liquids etc. The subject of the present inven tion forms a valve-like Verscbluss of tubes for paint, pastes, glue, cream, liqs fluids, etc., of which on the drawing an embodiment by Fig. 1 in aehsiale section and by Fig. 2 in cross section after the Line AB is shown.
The tube cap of the tube a has a truncated cone b, which near its verjüng th end with its inside the conical part d of a valve body c serves as a seat. With its shaft, this body c is mounted in a cross e. Between this and the conical part d of the valve body a compression spring is finely inserted, which usually keeps the valve closed.
The valve body c protrudes beyond the truncated cone b, so that the valve can be opened and the contents of the tube can exit by applying slight pressure to the valve body. After the tube has been lifted from the base, the valve closes under the action of the spring f and any pressure exerted by the contents of the tube.
By moving the valve body back and forth when opening and closing the valve and the resulting movements of the spring f, any encrustations in the tube that are already forming or already present around the valve are repeatedly loosened Prevents valve failure.
The shape of the tube end and the part of the valve body protruding from it can also be selected differently than as shown, for example prismatic or pyramidal. Depending on the type of mass for which the tube is intended and how it is used, the material and the rest of the nature of the above valve body part can be selected differently.
For example, it can be made of a soft material, for example rubber, or covered with such, or it can be designed like a brush if, for example, the flowing mass is to be spread.
In another embodiment similar to the one shown, a ball resting on a compression spring can be used as a valve body. If this does not protrude beyond the tube, i.e. the valve cannot be opened sufficiently by pressing the ball against a surface, then the ball must be pushed inwards and held back using some suitable tool (nail, needle, match, etc.) .
