Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Ogazinfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu neuen Farbstoffen der Oxazinreihe dadurch belangt, dass man zu ihrem Aufbau Carbazolderivate verwendet.
Die Herstellung dieser Farbstoffe kann in der üblichen Weise erfolgen, zum Beispiel indem man die Komponenten in alkoholischer Lösung am Rückflusskühler kocht.
Die neuen Farbstoffe .scheiden sich im allgemeinen in schöner kristallinischer Form ab. Die mit ihnen hergestellten Färbungen zeichnen sich durch gute Wasch- und Licht echtheit aus.
Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Oxazin- farbstoffes. Es ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 2-Oxycarbazol mit Nitrosodiäthanol- anilin kondensiert.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 10 Gewichtsteile 2-Oxycarbazol werden in 80 Gewichtsteilen Äthylalkohol kochend gelöst, und in die Lösung werden allmählich 12 Gewichtsteile salzsaures Nitrosodiäthanol- anilin einetragen. Die Farbstoffbildung be- ginnt schon nach kurzer Zeit. Es wird 8 Stunden am Rückflusskühler gekocht. Der gebildete neue Farbstoff wird nach dem Er kalten abgesaugt und mit Alkohol ge waschen.
Er stellt ein schweres, sandiges, blaues Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser mit klarer blauer Farbe löst und vorgebeizte Baumwolle in klaren blauen Tönen färbt, die sich durch gute Waschechtheit und hervor ragende Lichtechtheit auszeichnen.

The present patent relates to a process for the production of an oxazine dye. It is characterized in that 2-oxycarbazole is condensed with nitrosodiethanol aniline.
<I> Example: </I> 10 parts by weight of 2-oxycarbazole are dissolved at the boil in 80 parts by weight of ethyl alcohol, and 12 parts by weight of nitrosodiethanol aniline hydrochloric acid are gradually added to the solution. The dye formation begins after a short time. It is boiled for 8 hours on the reflux condenser. The new dye formed is sucked off after the cold and washed ge with alcohol.
It is a heavy, sandy, blue powder that dissolves in water with a clear blue color and dyes pre-stained cotton in clear blue tones, which are characterized by good washfastness and excellent lightfastness.
