Device for making Knöpfli. The existing facilities for making Knöpfli all have the disadvantage that the dough immediately passes through the holes in the bottom of the device after pouring it into the vessel, before one is ready to keep the device properly over the boiling pot and the dough to process by operating the device. As a result, some of the dough will pile up into unappetizing lumps. The present invention aims to overcome these shortcomings.
According to the invention this is achieved by the fact that the bottom of the vessel serving to hold the thin dough is partially provided with holes and a movable plate that partially covers the bottom and rests on it, the whole thing so that all Holes can be closed and, by moving the plate, the holes can alternately be exposed and closed, where only a temporary outflow of the dough is brought about. In the drawing, for example, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown.
Fig. 1 shows the device in longitudinal section, and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same.
The device shown for the produc- tion of Knöpfli has a round vessel 1 with a handle 2 and a support tab 3, which is attached to the vessel 1 diametrically to the handle 2, in the manner of a salad strainer. The bottom of the vessel 1 is provided with holes 4 only on one half. In the middle of the bottom of the vessel is a pin 5, around which a plate 6 lying loosely on the bottom of the vessel is rotatably mounted. The plate 6 is so large that it closes off all the holes in the bottom of the vessel in a certain rotational position and in a direction of <B > 1801 </B> reveals all holes in the changed rotational position.
The front edge of the plate 6 which precedes in clockwise rotation has a slave 7 standing at right angles to the plate surface. On the pin 5 is a crank 8 by means of a strip of sheet metal bent part 9, at the ends of which eyelets 10 are bent, easily removable. By turning the crank 8 clockwise, the plate 6 is carried along by its driver 7 through the crank part 9. When turning the crank, the part 9 serves as a paddle at the same time.
The setup is applied as follows. After the plate 6 is brought into a position by turning the cure bel 8 in which it closes all the holes in the bottom of the vessel, the thin dough intended for making the Knöpfli be poured into the vessel 1. The dough cannot flow out of the container at this point. The device is now grasped at her hand 2 and held over the boiling pot. By turning the crank 8 evenly, the vessel bottom is opened and closed alternately. This now results in the dough emerging through the holes 4, which is interrupted by breaks.
By turning the crank 8 more or less rapidly, a shorter or longer opening of the holes 4 and thus the size of the knobs is determined.
In the application described, the formation of irregular or unevenly sized buttons can easily be avoided. The crank is turned to the left so that the remainder of the dough remaining on the plate 6 towards the end of the work can also be created through the holes 4. The plate 6 is not taken along by the crank due to the much larger adhesion with the bottom of the vessel, whereas the remainder of the dough on the plate 6 rises from part 9 of the crank 8 with a rotation of less than 360 stripped off the bottom of the vessel and then transported almost completely through the holes 4 of the vessel when the crank is subsequently turned clockwise. .
