Mehrfachstecker.
In beiliegender Zeichnung ist eine bei spielsweise Ausführungsform. des Erfindungs gegenstandes- dargestellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 eine Vorderansicht, Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht und Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht auf den Stecker; Fig.4 veranschaulicht die eine Stecker hälfte mit den Steckerstiften; Fig.5 und 6. sind Schnitte durch den Stecker nach den Linien A-B bezw. C-D der Fig.l, einzelne Teile in Ansicht dar gestellt;
Fig. 7 stellt zwei ineinandergesteckte Stecker dar.
Multiple plug. The present invention is a multiple plug whose plug for insertion of the plug into a socket, a coupling plug, etc. certain plug pins are provided with sockets into which the plug pins of single or multiple plugs can be inserted through openings at one end of the insulating body.
Known multiple plugs of this type have the disadvantage that the connection cable, which is led through a hole from the rear end of the insulating body to the connection points of the pins, only allows the successive plugs to be plugged together to a certain depth. As a result, there is a risk that the part of the pins that is exposed between them and which is under tension will be touched, or that an object made of conductive material falling on them can cause a short circuit.
According to the present invention, the insulating body now has a lateral opening for the introduction of the connection cable. The rear end of the plug pins located in the insulating body is expediently provided in a known manner in the axial direction with bores which form the bushings and into which further plug pins can be inserted through corresponding openings at the end of the insulating body.
In the accompanying drawing is an embodiment with example. The subject matter of the invention is shown, namely: FIG. 1 a front view, FIG. 2 a side view and FIG. 3 a plan view of the plug; Fig.4 illustrates a connector half with the connector pins; Fig.5 and 6. are sections through the connector along the lines A-B respectively. C-D of Fig.l, individual parts in view is provided;
Fig. 7 shows two nested connectors.
The multiple plug shown has an insulating body consisting of two halves 3 and 4 connected to one another by means of a screw 1 with nut 2. The connector pins 5 are inserted between these two halves. The rear ends of these plug pins, which are supported in the insulating body, have an axial longitudinal bore 6 which forms a bushing and which are accessible through openings 7 at the rear end of the insulating body for the purpose of inserting additional plug pins.
A transverse bore 8 and a grub screw 9 allow the wires of the connecting cable 10 to be firmly clamped. To introduce the latter, a lateral opening 11 is provided on the insulating body, which is partially surrounded by a sleeve wall 12 directed downwards at an angle. give is.
Instead of two parts, the insulating body could also consist of only one part, and the plug pins could be inserted through holes at the lower end of the connector and held by means of the grub screws inserted through holes around the circumference of the insulating body.
Instead of two, three or more pins could be arranged in the insulating body, and the insulating body could be divided transversely to the same instead of along the common axial plane of the pins and held together by means of one or more screws whose axes are parallel to the axes of the pins his.
'' If, in the last-mentioned embodiment, the side opening for inserting the connection cable is laid partly in one half of the connector and partly in the other, this cable can be clamped and effective strain relief for the connection points of the individual cable cores can be achieved.
