Die Erfindung hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, einen Brennstoffträger für Pyrophor- Feuerzeuge, bestehend aus einem brennstoff getränkten Filzkissen mit Einsteckkanal für das Schürfwerkzeug für lange Zeit lagerfähig zu machen und ihm den Brennstoff dabei ungemindert zu erhalten.
Eine Lösung dieser Aufgabe wurde darin gefunden, dass das Filzkissen von einer sich den Unregelmässigkeiten der Filzoberfläche innig anschmiegenden Hülle umschlossen ist, wodurch Hohlräume zwischen der Hülle und dem Brennstoffträger vermieden werden. Vor nehmlich besteht die Hülle aus einer mine ralische Bestandteile enthaltenden, jedenfalls nicht entflammbaren Masse, die aus dem breiigen oder teigigen Zustande erhärtet. Insbesondere bei Erzeugung der Hülle aus dem breiigen Zustande vereinfacht sich das Herstellen derselben, wenn das Kissen mit der Masse umgossen wird. Es ist dabei ledig lich zu beachten, dass die Mündung des Ein steckkanals zwar von der Masse überdeckt sein muss, diese aber nicht in den Kanal einlaufen darf.
Hierzu empfiehlt es sich, in den Kanal einen Wattepfropfen einzuführen, bevor der Umguss erfolgt.

a ist ein mit einem sich nach unten er weiternden Einsteckkanal c versehenes Filz kissen. In der untern Erweiterung d kann ein Wattebausch dl untergebracht sein. Das Kissen a ist von einer Hülle aus einem die Verdunstung des Brennstoffes verhindernden, selbst aber unent$ammbaren Material allseitig eingeschlossen, die auch die Mündung des Einsteckkanals c bei e1 überdeckt.
Damit bei dem Umgiessen des Bissens a mit der breiigen Hüllmasse diese nicht in den Kanal c ein läuft, wird vor dem Überziehen des Kissens ein Wattebausch d1 in den Kanal eingeführt.
Eine zur Umkleidung des Filzkissens im Sinne der Erfindung geeignete Masse ist die folgende
