Description

In diesem. Process for the production of art and everyday objects. object of the invention is a further development of the method according to additional patents 295701 and 337777. The main thing is that the process consists of raw or reduced iron sponge existing finished objects not in liquid -, metals, but for the purpose of filling the pores are immersed in liquid substances, which have metalloid properties. It has been shown that sponge iron objects for example, able to soak up liquid sulfur in a very short time that turn the pores completely filled with it. In many cases it becomes useful be to let the liquid sulfur soak up before shaping, as z. B. by Sponge iron objects produced by pressing cannot absorb sulfur. Likewise, phosphorus immersed in liquid selenium, Teilur or busy @ Unpressed iron swimmable objects soak up these substances. In this. Conditions it is therefore a purely mechanical mixture between iron on the one hand and the relevant metalloids on the other hand. Because in this way a chemical If the connection does not occur, the process should be further developed in such a way that that by further treatment the chemical union between iron and the Metalloids takes place. This happens because the .mit the substance in question filled, finished iron schivammartikel after the filling of the pores is heated, whereby .the chemical bond between iron on the one hand and the absorbed substances on the other hand is brought about and thus, for example, finished Objects made of sulfur iron, S-elene iron, tellurium iron, phosphorus iron are created can. Apart from art objects, in this way primarily, the Connections of iron with the above metalloids in rod, cube, plate form etc. for chemical and metallurgical purposes.

29--27g .damit bezweckt. It is known that iron dissolves when heated with the above Metallo, idew connects and z. B. by glowing iron filings with sulfur flowers arises. But neither sponge iron is used, nor is the manufacture a finished sponge iron object within the meaning of the patent. 29--27g.
