Elektrisch angetriebener Kompressor.
Electrically powered compressor. The attempt to drive a compressor directly by an electromagnet has so far failed mainly because the reversal of motion of the spring-loaded, oscillating system (consisting of compressor element and armature) should be forced by electrical switching devices or by impact surfaces that reduce vibrations Aids that reduce operational reliability, performance, simplicity of construction and efficiency.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, it has already been proposed to train the drive in such a way that the periodicity of the current reverses the movement of the oscillating armature without the aid of electrical support devices or baffles / I> ge initiated.
According to this, the resiliently mounted compressor organ is to be set in vibration by the vibrating armature of an alternating current electromagnet, the suspension of the vibrating system being tuned to resonance with the frequency of the change in the magnetic force of attraction and the reversal of motion of the vibrating system without the use of impact surfaces or electrical control contacts is enforced by the suspension, the magnetic field and the opposing forces exerted by the compressed medium.
For the practical operation of such a unit, it is essential that the compression work of the electromagnet is only done indirectly by the energy stored in the suspension, so that the armature movement is as even as possible and violent load surges are kept away from the network.
The correct starting point for a further development of the resonance-like alternating current drive of compressors is therefore only the type in which the working stroke of the compressor element (i.e. the pressure stroke in the case of overpressure generators) takes place when the armature is moved away from the tension force of the springs Electromagnet is moved.
The invention has the purpose of improving the previously known compressors of the last specified type, namely by an advantageous design of the drive forming alternating current electromagnets, which different, put by the peculiar type of the alternating current compressor drive to the structure of the electromagnet, each other partially contradicting demands met whenever possible.
According to the invention, the armature and the stationary part of the electromagnet form a magnetic iron circle interrupted by air gaps, the mean value of the length of the path of the lines of force in the air gaps being smaller than in the iron circle. The clearances are chosen so that their magnetic resistance becomes smaller as soon as the vibration center position of the armature shifts with increasing back pressure of the compressed medium. The arrangement is also such that .the resulting magnetic attraction force acting on the armature falls in the direction of oscillation of the armature.
This design of the electromagnet results in a fairly even delivery rate at different delivery pressures, that is, a favorable operating characteristic of the compressor. It has been shown that the position of the oscillation path of the armature, since its end positions are not determined by any baffles or changeover contacts, depends on the pressure to which the medium is compressed,
namely ver shifts with increasing or decreasing counter-end pressure, the vibration center position of the armature, without the amplitude of the vibration generally suffers a change. This shift caused by increasing counter-end pressure changes the magnetic conditions of the drive in such a way that an increase in the electrical power consumed occurs.
The fact that the resulting magnetic attraction force acting on the armature falls in the armature's direction of oscillation not only avoids complicated, irregular oscillations in the manner of rolling movements, but also enables fixed magnet parts to be arranged in close proximity to the oscillating armature which would not be permissible if it were to swing out on all sides.
The mean value of the length of the force linear path in the clearances can preferably be smaller than in the anchor. One can . Select an air gap arrangement that is symmetrical with regard to the direction of vibration.
In order to bring the greatest possible component of the magnetic force to effect, but nevertheless to interrupt the closed iron circuit by the smallest possible sum of air gaps connected in series, a design can be used in which one air gap in the magnetic circuit of the alternating current electromagnet, but only one air gap between the armature and the magnet body is set by the flux of lines of force in the direction of oscillation of the armature.
The magnetic resistance of this air gap, which may be referred to as the "active" air gap, can preferably be dimensioned so that it is at least as large as the magnetic resistance of each of the remaining air gaps in all oscillation positions of the armature. The latter can expediently be arranged in such a way that the direction of the line of force flow through them forms an angle with the direction of oscillation of the armature which exceeds 45 '.
In structural terms, it is advisable to design the armature and the fixed part of the electromagnet in such a way and to arrange them with respect to one another that they come together when they are fully tightened. that is to say that the armature fits snugly against the stationary part, resulting in a magnet body that is similar to the closed iron body of a column transformer, preferably a three-column transformer. It should expediently the fully tightened ge thought anchor complement or form the central column of the iron body.
1 and 2 of the drawing show an embodiment of the invention in an elevation and cross-sectional view.
The electromagnet of the compressor drive consists in this example mainly of the built-up like a column transformer fixed the magnet body 41, the movable in the vertical direction Rich, to a certain extent a loosened part of the central column forming armature 42 and around the central column and this Column continuing armature part arranged around magnet winding 48. As the drawing shows, the armature is formed in such a way and with respect to the fixed part of the electromagnet arranged in such a way that the magnetic lines of force in the iron when the winding is excited are almost closed and only narrow air gaps 45, 45 'and 45 "have to prevail.
The air gap 45 extends in such a way that the force flow passes through it parallel to the direction of oscillation of the armature, so that the component of the magnetic force that is effective in this air gap reaches a maximum value. The air gaps 45 'and 45 "are formed by armature surfaces and yoke surfaces of the magnet core, which are inclined to the direction of oscillation of the armature and form an angle with it that is smaller than 45. The air gaps 45' and 45" are therefore arranged in such a way that that they can be chosen to be much smaller than the air gap 45 and therefore break the closed iron path to a much lesser extent.
However, the arrangement of the air gap 45 must not be disregarded if the magnetic power allotted to a certain oscillation path is to be as great as possible. As can also be seen from the drawing and the following description, the compressor unit is formed in such a way that the central vibration position of the armature decreases as the counter-end pressure of the compressed medium increases.
As a result, the size of the air gap 45 corresponding to the respective vibration means is reduced with increasing counter-end pressure to a considerable extent, and this reduction can easily be dimensioned in such a way that the dependence of the conveyed air volume respectively. the delivery rate is influenced in a favorable sense by the pressure; because the reduction of the air gap causes an increase in force and an increase in performance.
The illustrated design and arrangement of the electromagnet, the performance of the compressor drive is significantly increased BEZW. reduced the size of the electromagnet required for a certain performance to a minimum.
The electromagnet stands on: a base plate 49, from which extend perpendicular struts 61 made of insulating material; which carry the compressed air generator. The latter is a membrane pump and has the VerdicUter- space 67, the collecting space 66 with attached compressed air connection 53, the membrane 56 provided with openings 63, the membrane 57 provided with openings 59 and the openings 58 and 58 respectively. 64 equipped membrane floors 55 respectively. 65.
The openings 58 and 63 and the parts of the membrane 56 located in their vicinity form the suction valves, the openings 59 and 64, and the parts of the membrane 57 located in their vicinity form the pressure valves of the compressor. The membrane base 55 is designed as a pressure plate and is attached to the upper end of the drive rod 54 forming a continuation of the armature 42. The body oscillating under the action of the electromagnet consists of the armature 42, the drive rod 54 and the diaphragm base 55 including the diaphragm 56. It is clear that this construction achieves a considerable reduction in the mass oscillating with the armature.
The drive rod 54 rests in the middle of the transverse pin 48 on leaf springs 46, specifically in such a way that the armature, when the electromagnet is not energized, is carried exclusively by these springs, these springs being under a certain prestress. The suspension springs 46: of the armature are dimensioned and arranged in such a way that they allow a uniform oscillation of the reciprocating parts in cycle, in fact in resonance with the change of the current feeding the electric magnet.
The ends of the springs 46 are provided with roller-shaped support bodies 60, which are rotatably mounted in bushes 47 of the support frame in such a way that they can perform torsional vibrations in accordance with the back and forth movement of the armature. This type of location tion of the springs, the transmission of the vibrations caused by the vibrating armature to the other parts of the device and the environment is wesent Lich reduced. A shock-absorbing felt plate 50 on which the base plate 49 is placed also serves the latter purpose.
The mode of operation of the device just described is as follows: If the coil 43 of the electromagnet is fed with alternating current, the armature 42 and the parts connected to it oscillate in the cycle of the alternating current frequency: With every downward movement of the armature, the membrane base 55 takes the membrane 56, which is firmly connected only at its periphery, so that air flows through the openings 58 and 63 into the interior of the working space 67:
during this, the membrane 57 remains firmly pressed against its base 65 so that the pressure valve openings 59, 64 are closed. During the upward movement of the armature, however, the openings 58 and 63 of the suction valve are closed because: the whole membrane 56 presses against its bottom 55; on the other hand, however, the membrane 57 is lifted from its bottom 65, so that:
the air compressed in the working space is conveyed through the pressure valve openings 59, 64 into the collecting space 66, from where it is fed through the pipe socket 53 to its intended use or to any compressed air tank.
The armature of the electromagnet is brought closer to the magnet body during the suction stroke and removed from it during the pressure stroke. The spring 46, which is tuned to the alternating current frequency, is the only available power source during the pressure stroke, and it must therefore store the entire energy required for the pressure stroke during the suction movement. This energy mainly consists of the compression and conveying work and the work required to pull the armature away from the magnet body (increasing the air gap).
If the mechanical power of the compressor becomes kleini ner as the pressure in the space 66 increases, the electrical power consumed by the solenoid winding will also decrease accordingly, without the armature stopping to oscillate. These oscillations also continue when the useful compressor work sinks to zero, in which case the electric magnet only takes the power required to cover the “no-load losses” of the compressor: from the network.
The mode of operation of the small compressor adapts itself actively to the changing air requirement; the more compressed air is extracted, the more is generated.
The spring 46 absorbs the counterpressure of the compressed medium, which, as the pressure increases, results in a downward shift in the vibration medium position of the vibrating system. In this way, as already described, the active air gap 45 of the electromagnet is reduced so that a favorable adjustment of the power can be achieved when working at different pressures.
The membrane and valve construction described in the embodiment is particularly advantageous when a very fast, but flawless operation of the valves is required, which is the case, for example, when the armature is to oscillate in time with the common alternating current of 50 Hertz. Another advantage of the machine described is the lack of bearings or gear parts that require lubrication. This not only means savings in operation and maintenance of the machine.
it also enables the air surrounding the electromagnet to be sucked into the compressor so that it is effectively cooled. This is because the air sucked in from the drive does not carry any oil particles with it that could contaminate the compressed air: accordingly, there is no need for an oil separator. The suction of air from the electromagnet for cooling purposes is achieved in the embodiment described, for example, in that the suction openings 58 of the compressor are arranged above the electromagnet.
Moreover, if the whole machine is enclosed in a housing, the suction effect exerted by the compressor on the air heated in the magnet is significantly increased. But you can also arrange special channels or lines that feed the hot air of the electromagnet to the suction side of the compressor.
The vibrations of the armature generate a vibration noise during operation, the dampening of which may be desirable. For this purpose, various measures can be taken, some of which are already described in the exemplary embodiment. Is .die Ma machine enclosed in a housing, this can be made of a soundproof material and suspended on rubber cords or spiral springs. You can also fill the gaps between the device and the housing with a soundproof, shock-absorbing material.
The transfer of the armature movement to the compressor element, the suspension of the armature, etc., can be carried out in a wide variety of ways. In addition, several machines can be connected in parallel or one after the other, if desired, in order to be able to cope with a higher delivery pressure or a larger delivery rate. In many cases it is advisable to train the compressed air generator and consumer as a constructive unit.
The powerful, robust, operationally safe construction of the small compressor enables it to be used most extensively (for example in painting, agriculture, drilling technology, medical technology, etc.).
