Auf der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungs- gegenstand beispielsweise dargestellt, und zwar zeigen: Fig. 1 einen senkrechten Schnitt durch die eigentliche Presse, Fig. 2 eine Teilansicht der VerschliessVor- richtung für den Deckel der Presse, Fig. 3 das Steuerungsschema der Presse;
Vulcanizing press, in particular for automobile tires. The subject of the invention is a hydraulic vulcanizing press, in particular for automobile tires, namely a so-called single heater, in which an automobile tire or the like in a two-part form is heated under hydraulic pressure and at the same time from the inside by a pressure medium, for example compressed air,
is pressed against the mold walls. The vulcanizing press according to the invention is distinguished from known devices of this type by the complete safety of the individual press operators, the operating personnel and the work items, in that the closing and opening of the press, the inlet and outlet of the pressurized water and the press air, as well as the inflow and outflow of the heating steam are brought into a certain dependency on each other.
The subject of the invention is shown, for example, in the drawing, namely: FIG. 1 shows a vertical section through the actual press, FIG. 2 shows a partial view of the closing device for the cover of the press, FIG. 3 shows the control scheme of the press;
and FIGS. 4 to 7 individual parts of the control: The actual press consists of a heating boiler 1 which can be closed by a cover 3 hinged at 2. Before pressing, the cover 3 is connected to the boiler 1 by a bayonet ring 4 (FIG. 1), the ring being displaced so that its claws 6 grip under corresponding claws 5 of the boiler.
The material to be vulcanized, for example the automobile tire 7 shown in FIG. 1, is placed in a two-part mold 8, 9 lying on the table T and is delimited on the inside by an auxiliary rim 10, 11 that is also two-part. The mold is provided on the inside on part of its circumference with grooves or the like, into which the work material is pressed, in order to give a car tire, for example, the necessary anti-skid protection. The split rim is held together by pivotable couplings 12, which are distributed over its circumference.
The required pressing pressure is generated by a differential piston 13, the press water through the line. 14 (Fig. 3) is supplied. To return the piston 13 to the starting position, its annular surface 15 is used, to which the press water is constantly fed through the line 16. For heating the mold 8, 9, for example, steam is used, which is supplied to the boiler 1 through the line 17.
From the pipe 17 a connecting pipe R leads to a pipe coil S, from which: the steam through small. Openings in. The boiler 1 exits. At 18 a condensate pot is designated. During the pressing process, pressure must be exerted on the tire 7 from the inside so that the work piece is pressed firmly against the mold%, vand and into its grooves. For this purpose, an air hose 19 (FIG. 3) placed in the tire 7, to which compressed air is fed through the line 20, is used.
For lifting and. Lowering of the lid 3 hydraulic lifting cylinders 21 are provided on both Be th of the lid, which are articulated at 22 ge with the press frame. The press water is fed to them through line 23. Their pistons 24 are hinged to the cover 3 at 25. In Fig. 1, the open position of the lid is shown in dash-dotted lines, with a locking bolt: 26, which sits on a rotatable lever 27, behind a nose 28 of the lid and secures it against falling.
The lever 27 is connected by a linkage 29, 30 to a foot lever 31 by means of which the locking of the lid can be released under certain conditions. The steam space of the boiler 1 is connected to the outside air through a safety valve 32 and a vent valve 33. The control mechanism of this press works as follows: It is assumed that the press is in the open state, the cover 3 thus the position shown in Fig. 1 by dash-dotted lines. occupies. The lifting cylinders 21 are under pressure so that the locking bolt 26 can be released by pressing the foot lever 31.
Are the lifting cylinders not under hydraulic pressure? s (, the load resting on the bolt 26 is too great for the locking bolt to be triggered. Turning the steering wheel 34 clockwise from position 1 (FIG. 6) by <B> 90 '</B> opens the valve 35 ge opens so that the press water can escape from the lifting cylinders 21. through the line 23 and the return line A. Here at the cover 3 slowly sinks down.
Cover, the bayonet ring 4 must remain in its open position because a segment 36 sits on the axis 2, which only emerges from the incision 37 of the ring 4 when the cover 3 is completely lowered onto the boiler 1 (Fig. 1 and 2) . The bayonet ring 4 is now brought into the closed position by means of the ratchet 38 (FIG. 5). The rod 40 under the influence of the spring 39 slides up the inclined surface 41 of the bayonet ring 4.
A support arm is arranged on the boiler 1. on which a lever 40b is rotatably fastened at 40a. One end of the rod 40 is articulated to one end of this lever 40b. The other end of the lever 40b carries a roller 42 which is in working connection with a guide 43a of a disk 43 consisting of two parts. The disk 43 itself is firmly connected to the handwheel 34 and is set in rotation in the direction of the arrow indicated in FIG. One part of the guide 43a of the disk 43 has a larger radius than the other part, as can be seen from FIGS. 4 and 6.
The roller 42 of the lever 40b is in the position I (Fig. 6) when the lid of the press is open, and is guided into the position 11 after the hand wheel 34 has been rotated 90. Now the roller 42 comes to the part of the guide 43a with the smaller radius and the Sta ng (- 40 performs a vertical, upward movement due to the spring pressure, whereupon the steering wheel 34 moves over the position III after the position IV (Fir. 6) can be twisted.
In the position III shown in FIG. 6, the valve 44 is opened and the valve 45 is closed, so that the press water passes through the line 1-1 under the piston 13. As a result, the table T is raised and the mold halves 8, 9 are pressed firmly against one another. It is thus prevented that the press table T can go up before the cover 3 is properly closed.
Now the lever 46 can only be actuated, since its nose 47 can only now be moved to the right in the groove 48 of the steering wheel 34 up to the dot-dash position in FIG. 4. This lever regulates the supply of compressed air to the air hose 19, which but may only take place 'when the mold halves 8, 9 are already under the pressure of the piston 13, there. otherwise the air hose would burst. By shifting the lever 46 to the right, the air valve 49 is opened and valve 50 is closed, so that the compressed air of approximately 25 atmospheres entering at 51 can pass through the line 20 into the air hose 19.
The pressure in the hose 19 can be read on the manometer 52. At the same time as the air, the steam enters the boiler 1. It must not occur earlier, as otherwise imperfect vulcanization would take place, in that the work item would not be applied to the mold walls with the necessary pressure. The steam is also let in by means of the lever 46 by opening the valve 52 and closing the valve 53, with air of about 1.5 atmospheres entering at 54 and being passed to the auxiliary diaphragms 55 and 56, whereby the valve 57 is opened and 58 is closed. The steam entering at 59 then flows through line 17 into the boiler 1.
Provision must now be made that, if the press water entering at 60 does not occur, the air in the hose 19 is immediately released, since otherwise there is again the risk of the air hose bursting. For this purpose, a standing under the pressure of the Akkumula sector or a pump Sperrzylin 61 (Fig. 4), the piston 62 is moved back when the pressure is released by the spring 63 and thereby rotates the releasably coupled segment 64 with the lever 46, whereby the lever 46 in the curve 48 is switched back to the air outlet.
After the vulcanization has ended, the air must first be released from the hose 19. So that this cannot take place before the hydraulic pressure is released, the control wheel 34 is locked until the lever 46 has been moved back into the air outlet position. Then a safety device is provided which prevents; da.ss the hydraulic pressure is released prematurely. It consists of a cylinder 65 (FIG. 3), the piston 66 of which is only moved back by the spring 6 7 when the air has completely escaped from the hose 19.
Only then does a rod 68 connected to the piston 66 emerge from a bore in the steering wheel 34, so that the latter can only now be rotated 90 further to the right to release the hydraulic pressure. For this purpose, the piston 66 is under full air pressure, while the air outlet point 69 is strongly throttled.
If this were not the case, the piston 66 could also go back after partial release of the air, but this should be avoided so that the press water cannot be released prematurely.
Simultaneously with the compressed air, the pressurized steam also emerges from the boiler 1; because when releasing the air by adjusting the lever 46, the valve 53 is opened and 52 is closed. The steam then flows back through line 17 and exits through opened valve 58 at 70.
When the control wheel 34 is turned clockwise to release the hydraulic pressure, valve 45 is opened and 44 is closed so that the press water can escape through lines 14 and A. The press water pressure on the annular surface 15 of the differential piston 13 returns the piston 13 and thus the table T to the starting position.
Before the bayonet ring 4 can be loosened, the steam remaining in the boiler 1 must also be released so that the operating personnel cannot be scalded when the lid is opened. For this purpose, a ventilation valve 73 with a locking disk 71 (Fig. 5) is provided, whereby the bayonet ring 4 is prevented from rotating in the closed state. The roller 42 assumed position IV of FIG. 6 during the last rotation of the steering wheel by <B> 90 '</B>.
If the bayonet ring 4 is now rotated, the rod 40 is pressed down by the inclined surface 41, the roller 42 again entering the part of the guide with the larger radius of the disk 43. Only now can the control wheel 34 be rotated to the right again by <B> 90 '</B>, the lifting cylinder 21 receiving pressure again and the cover 3 being opened. At the same time when turning the bayonet ring 4, the segment 36 is re-entered into the incision 37 of the bayonet ring, so that it can no longer be rotated until the lid is lowered again on the boiler.
This also prevents the claws 6 of the bayonet ring from being damaged when it is lowered when it is in the wrong position: being able to earth by striking the projections 5 of the boiler. When the steering wheel was last turned, valve 35 closed and valve 72 opened so that the press water can flow through line 23 into lifting cylinder 21.
As already mentioned above, the locking pin 26 can only be released when the lifting cylinders 21 are under pressure, since otherwise the load resting on the pin 26 is too great. But now it can happen that the pressure in the lifting cylinder 21 was released by turning the steering wheel 34 further by 90 before the Sperrvor device 26 was triggered. So it must be possible for this single case to turn the steering wheel 34 back to the left into the starting position.
For this purpose, a locking disk 75 (Fig. 3 and 7) is attached to the control shaft 74 (Fig. 3), which prevents ver in all other positions by the lever 76 in conjunction with the spring 77 a left rotation of the steering wheel 34. This locking disc 75 has a rounded tooth 78, which also allows a left-hand rotation of the steering wheel in the mentioned position, whereby the position is reached again in which the lifting cylinder 21 is pressurized again by opening the valve 72 and closing the valve 35 will.
Before the start of a new pressing, i.e. after the lid 3 has been closed, the three-way valve 80 (Fig. 3 and 5) must be controlled by means of a hand lever so that the saddle sleeve 81 (Fig. 3) of the boiler 1 is under steam pressure comes, which prevents that when steam flows into the boiler later, the steam escapes and thereby endangers the operating personnel.
As a result of the inflow of steam through the line 82, the locking disk 84 (FIG. 5) located on the handle of the three-way valve 80 is also set in such a way that the bayonet ring is locked a second time. Before opening the press, the lever 80 must therefore also be turned over, otherwise opening is impossible. The steam must therefore also be released from the saddle sleeve 81 before the press is opened.
The check valve 79 (Fig. 3) be intended to hold back the pressing pressure in the master cylinder if the accumulator or pump pressure should fail once during the pressing process.
