Device for providing pay-off bobbins for unwinding work, in particular for winding machines. It is known to arrange a number of spinning coils on a common, rigid carrier in series, and to connect their thread ends in the order of the coiling, so as to interrupt the unwinding work, so until the completion of the correspondingly new luminous coil Avoid, and by means of the carrier to be able to provide reel spools, for example for half a day or a full day.
The Kötzer is supported by a rigid body with a straight or circular base. In the case of a straight base, a gradual shifting of the Kötzer carrier according to the consumption of Kötzer is necessary, which can be avoided with an arcuate base of the carrier and a corresponding radial position of the Kötzer,
in that the Kötzers are easily given the same distance from a guide body provided for the running thread by arranging the same in the center of the circular arc; on the other hand, the knotting of the thread ends is made more difficult by the relative movement of a knotting device and the Kötzerträgers in the base surface of the Kötzerträgers.
The device for providing pay-off reels for unwinding work, in particular for reel machines according to the invention, now has an elongated, in its longitudinal plane for receiving a number of pay-off bobbins set up flexible carrier.
This makes it possible to apply run-off bobbins to the carrier in the normal state and to unite their thread ends in a simple manner, even if in the stretched state of the bobbin carrier, by means of the knotting device; by inserting the bobbin in a corresponding guide on the winding machine in question, the bobbin is then brought ge in arch form, which allows on a. to accommodate as many pay-off spools as possible.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. 1 shows the carrier equipped with pay-off bobbins in the normal state; Fig. 2 is a Grun.driss of the same, while Fig. 3 shows the carrier in arch form. It denotes 1 the elongated bobbin carrier, which carries in its longitudinal plane seven series reel coils 2, which are attached to support spindles provided at an even distance from one another and provided with resilient holding arms. The coil carrier 1 is flexible, for example by being made of a steel strip.
For the purpose of linking the thread ends of the bobbins, the carrier 1 is placed in the normal, that is, in the stretched state with the free longitudinal surface on a table equipped with a Knüpfvor device and on the same or by means of the same step by step switches over to the knotting device; instead of being applied to the carrier in advance, the coils can also be placed on the carrier during the knotting work, that is, one after the other.
After each switching step of the bobbin carrier there are two adjacent pay-off bobbins C with their threads 3 (fix. 2) near the knotting device, by means of which the thread end of one bobbin is then connected to the thread beginning of the other bobbin; conversely, the knotting device with respect to the table mentioned could also be used. be gradually switchable with respect to the coil carrier.
A knotting device is expediently used, by means of which weaver knots can be made which, as is well known, protrude less than other knots. After the threads of all the bobbins 2 present on the carrier 1 have been linked to one another, the bobbin carrier is provided for a set in a circular arc guide on the machine in question. By pushing it into the Füh tion, the coil carrier according to FIG. 3 assumes a circular arc shape.
It is not necessary to move the bobbin carrier 1 during work because the pay-off bobbins 2 lie radially with respect to the guide body 4 provided for the unwinding thread, so that the distance between all the bobbins 2 and the guide body 4 is the same.
This embodiment is suitable for providing pay-off bobbins for bobbin machines with slot drums, as well as for those with reciprocating thread guides or axially reciprocated winding spindle, and also for similar machines Ma.
