Zielvorrichtung, insbesondere an Gewehren.
Aiming device, especially on rifles. The invention relates to a target device for aiming at targets of the same known size, especially on rifles, in which two mutually paral lele visors of the known height of the target object can be adjusted accordingly, while at the same time the visor is inevitably shifted in the manner is that it receives a setting corresponding to the distance of the target, in which target device for moving the sights an organ is arranged on the firearm in such a way that it is within the reach of a finger of the hands holding the firearm in stop.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely in Fig. 1 a rifle with reversible visor, in Figs. 2 and 3 the aiming device on a larger scale in two views and in Fig. 4 and 5 schematically how the aiming device means the the position of the sight corresponding to a certain distance is determined.
On the gun barrel 27 a pivotable about the axis 28 visor frame 29 is attached to the crosspiece 42, on the sides of which share sliding sleeves 30 and 31 are arranged. The former two are connected by the sight rod 32, the latter two by the sight piece 33. On the outer sides of the sleeves 30 there are pegs 34 which are guided in slots 35 of the plates 36 fixed on the axis 28, while the pegs 37 arranged on the sleeves 31 are inserted in the slots 38 of the plates 36. One plate 36 continues in an arm 39, at the end of which an eyelet 40 for inserting the thumb is rotatably fastened.
When aiming at targets always the same, known size, the Zielvor direction as a range finder BEZW. can be used to determine the aiming position, which corresponds to the range of the target. For this purpose, the target provision is respectively. the distance between the sight rod 32 and the crosspiece 42 is matched to this specific target size. 4 and 5 schematically show how the distance is determined by the aiming device when aiming at a target Z of this known size,
that is, the visor is brought into the position corresponding to this distance. By depressing the arm 39, the plates 36 are pivoted and thereby the pins 34 and 37 guided in the slots 35 and 38 are moved upward.
If you aim with the lower edge of the frame cross-piece 42 on the head point of the target Z and press the arm 39 so far downwards until the upper edge of the sighting rod 32 is in the straight line, eye to the base of the target Z, the in the slots 38 guided pin 3 7 at the same time moved so far that the Vi sier 33 comes into the position required for correct aiming at the center of the target. The fixed visor 41 can be used for short, easily estimated distances. If the aim is to aim by means of this visor, the visor frame 39 is turned over.
The arrangement of the arm 39 is such that it can be operated when the target end has his index finger on the trigger. Instead of the rod-shaped parts 32 and 33, sight threads or arrows can also be actuated by the arm 39.
