Fig. 1 zeigt die Richtung einer Linie gleichzeitigen Eingriffes mit Bezug auf eine Mantellnie des Grundkreiszylinders; F'ig. ? zeigt schaubildlich ein Schrauben rad mit einer auf der rechten Radseite am Zahngrund beginnenden Linie gleichzeitigen Eingriffes und einer weiteren Linie gleich zeitigen Eingriffes, die an der Stelle am Zahnfuss beginnt, wo oberhalb am Zahnkopf die erstgenannte Linie gleichzeitigen Ein griffes ausläuft;
Method and device for testing helical involute tooth flanks. The invention relates to a method and a device for checking the flanks of teeth on helical gears with involute teeth.
While testing devices for straight-toothed wheels have already been used, there has been a lack of suitable devices for testing the flanks of teeth on screw wheels, which was partly due to the fact that there are certain difficulties here as a result of the increasingly strict requirements with regard to the accuracy of the tooth grinding.
The previous types of test were able to meet the needs of helical gears.
With the use of the so-called dyeing process. In which one lets the helical gear to be tested run together with a colored master wheel, a device is required for the exact determination of the helix angle, i.e. the helix angle of the helical tooth, which requires a rather complex design and yet does not guarantee accuracy, since in addition to the Errors that occur in the measurement of the screw angle, errors from the involute also occur.
You also helped yourself by checking the involute for yourself and also the screw angle for yourself, which is, however, laborious.
With all previous types of tests, the subsequent initial or corrective setting of the gear wheel locking machine did not have a full guarantee as to whether the tooth flanks of the finished gear were created in such a way that they would be able to carry evenly over their respective engagement length.
In a gear pair consisting of co-operating helical gears, the tooth flanks touch each other in such a way that there is always an inclined load-bearing line between the tooth root and tooth tip on the flanks, which traverses in the axial direction while the wheels are running. Your direction is due to the inclination of the tooth flanks and due to the curvature of the flanks in an involute shape, there is geometrically a straight extension of the tra lowing line. This supporting line is the line of simultaneous engagement of both wheels.
With reference to the tooth flank alone, one can speak of an infinite number of consecutive lines of simultaneous engagement.
With the method and the device according to the present invention, the line of simultaneous engagement is used for the test specimen of the tooth flanks, the test of the line providing information on both the involute shape and the screw angle. The result of such a test provides security with a check as to whether the condition of the even carrying of the involute as well as the screw is sufficient or not with two cooperating wheels. In the case of helical gears that work properly together, the screw or the involute must not be given priority.
The inventive method, in which a probe is used, is that the tooth flanks along one of the lines of simultaneous engagement, which extend from the base circle at the screw angle in a straight direction, are scanned in this straight path and the scanning is carried out simultaneously by a Auxiliary device displayed respectively. is written down so that the deviations from the straight line caused by inaccuracies in the involute can be recognized.
The device according to the invention enables this method to be carried out in that the wheel to be tested and the button, which can be moved in a straight line, are arranged in such a way that they are inclined to one another in the required angular position of the line of simultaneous engagement and both can also be set to a base circle distance to one another .
A ball, as used in testing devices for straight teeth, as well as a cutting edge directed transversely to the line at the same time can be used as a probe, which however has such a short length that once the inaccuracies on the tooth flanks are not bridged does not mean to be disregarded, but also includes the setting tolerance in both directions. A diamond cutting edge is advantageously provided.
The test device carrying the button, which is expediently equipped with adjusting microscopes, can be designed in various ways, either forming a fixed test stand, with the wheel to be tested being held clamped in its axis between Kör nerspitzen or the device is formed as Hand device is such that it is attached centrally to the wheel to be tested, advantageously to a journal or the like to be introduced into the wheel. In the last-mentioned embodiment, the device is not tied to fixed support points.
The connection to the wheel must of course be made with appropriate accuracy, and graduation lines, possibly also with a reading microscope, can be provided to set both the angle of the control line and the button to the required base circle distance.
Fig. 1 shows the direction of a line of simultaneous engagement with respect to a surface line of the base circular cylinder; F'ig. ? shows diagrammatically a helical wheel with a line of simultaneous engagement beginning on the right side of the wheel on the tooth base and a further line of simultaneous engagement that begins at the point at the tooth base where the first-mentioned line of simultaneous A grip expires above the tooth head;
Fig. 3 shows, for example, a test device intended to perform the method in the manner of a stationary test stand; FIG. D shows a further exemplary embodiment of the test device as it can be attached directly to the wheel to be tested as a hand-held device without actual stationary support. This device is recommended for testing larger wheels; Fig. 5 draws a key shape.
Along the line of simultaneous interventions E (Fig. 1 and 2), the tooth flanks are scanned according to the method before. The line of simultaneous engagement always forms a straight line, which extends over the tooth flank from the tooth root to the tooth head, and if the wheel has a larger width and as a result the probe already runs out on a shorter distance at the tooth head, the measurement can be over the remaining part of the flank can be completed by starting a new measurement at the corresponding tooth root, as indicated in Fig. 2 by the dashed connec tion line of the two lines of simultaneous engagement.
The direction of the line of simultaneous engagement is at a certain angle a to the respective shell line of the Grundkreiszy alleviate from the radius r0. The probe of the testing device influences a pen that writes down the deviations of the tooth profile from the theoretical shape. In the case of a perfectly generated tooth flank, the pen must generate a straight line, while in the case of an angle error an inclined line or any inaccuracies will result in a crooked line.
In Fig. 3, which only sketchily indicates the individual parts, 1 is the button and 2 is a pen. The holder 4 for the button 1 is displaceably guided, namely for the horizontal direction of the line of simultaneous engagement. To guide the subset 5, which incidentally carries the writing pad 3 and as a slide on the base plate 6 with the help of a screw spindle 7 in such a way. can be adjusted so that the required setting of the button is possible on the base circle distance.
For precise monitoring of the setting on Grundkreisab stand exist on the carriage 5 and on the base plate 6 suitable scales 8, over which a reading microscope can be arranged if necessary. The wheel R to be tested is kept with its axis advantageously pointed between grains, and its carrier 9 rests pivotably about an axis arranged transversely to the wheel axis in a bearing block 10 attached to the base plate 6. The wheel R can be ordered at an angle according to the size of the pressure angle Rotating the Hal age 9 with the help of a worm wheel 11 and a worm 12. The respective rotation is read on a scale 13 with respect to a fixed mark 14, for which the reading microscope 15 can be provided.
It is also possible to design the device in such a way that the wheel to be tested is clamped so that it cannot be adjusted between two stationary tips, that is, it cannot be swiveled, and the other parts of the device opposite the wheel, which are finite. can be swiveled into the angular positions required each Weil.
With the test device according to Fib. 4, which is suitable for testing larger wheels, which can no longer be clamped well, is placed centrally on the wheel of the bearing body 16, with the various hub bores used accordingly, auxiliary bushes 16 ', the bearing body 16 carries in a rotatable bushing 17 an arm 18 which can be adjusted radially relative to the wheel and which carries the necessary means for scanning and writing at one end.
For example, the button 1 with the pen \ 2 can sit on a toothed rod 19, the rod 19 being displaceable in the direction of the lines of simultaneous engagement with the aid of a drive device (gear with handwheel 20).
The suitable angular hub of the rod 19 corresponding to the direction of the line of bleaching-time engagement is adjustable with the aid of the rotatable bush 17, which is provided with a worm wheel 21 in which the worm 22 engages. With the worm 22, the handwheel is BEZW. the crank 22 'united. In addition, a circular scale 23 is combined with the socket 17, above which a fixed mark 24 is located. The reading can take place with the aid of the microscope 25.
The setting of the base circle distance of the button can be monitored using a scale 23 on the arm 18 and a corresponding fixed counter division 27.
The button 1 can either have a ball at the front in the usual way, or a Sehheide S is used according to FIG. 5, but which is kept correspondingly short, such that, as mentioned above, the inaccuracies on the tooth flanks are not bridged , that is not to be disregarded, and also the setting tolerance in both directions is included. If the cutting edge length is around 1/10 to 3/10 mm, a normal vernier can be used instead of the base circle microscope, provided that the instrument does not want to measure grooves in the flank that can still be detected by the measuring head of a test device equipped with a base circle microscope .
