Hier soll die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen, ohne dass die Vorteile einer kontinuierlichen Regelung aufgegeben werden. Erfindungs gemäss wird das Verstellorgan für die zu regelnde Grösse in Abhängigkeit von der Differenz zwischen einer konstanten Ver gleichsgeschwindigkeit und einer von der massgeblichen Differenz zwischen Ist- und Sollwert abhängigen Geschwindigkeit ge regelt;
Device for controlling a machine driven by a prime mover. The invention relates to a device for controlling a machine driven by an engine. It is particularly suitable for bringing a machine into synchronization with a network or another machine or for continuously regulating or controlling the machine as a function of any measured variable.
In the majority of the synchronization devices known so far, the regulation of the adjusting motor controlling the speed regulator of the engine takes place intermittently by control pulses that are given as a function of the frequency difference (slip). This intermittent regulation is harmful to the prime movers of the machines to be synchronized, in particular to turbines.
In order to eliminate this disadvantage, continuously operating controls have been provided in which, for example, the adjusting motor is controlled as a function of the frequency difference in such a way that a voltage proportional to the frequency difference is applied to the motor. However, these known arrangements have the disadvantage that in the vicinity of the synchronism, as a result of the ever decreasing speed of the adjusting motor, the control is no longer correct; minor deviations from the synchronicity can no longer be precisely recorded due to the constantly changing frictional resistance.
The invention is intended to provide a remedy here, without giving up the advantages of continuous regulation. According to the invention, the adjusting element for the variable to be regulated is regulated depending on the difference between a constant comparison speed and a speed dependent on the relevant difference between the actual and setpoint values;
The speed that is dependent on the difference between the actual and nominal value is selected in such a way that it is equal to the constant comparison speed when the difference between the actual and nominal value becomes zero. If it is a question of synchronizing an alternating current generator with a network, the speed controller of the engine is expediently influenced indirectly or directly by the third link of a differential gear,
the other two members of which are driven by electric motors, one of which runs at a speed that is inversely proportional to the slip, the other at a specific comparison speed. It is already known to provide a differential gear influencing the speed controller of the engine for synchronizing alternating current generators with a network. In this known arrangement, however, the differential gear of synchronous motors is driven, one of which rotates according to the frequency of the network, the other accordingly to the generator frequency.
Since the mains frequency and generator frequency are changeable, in contrast to the invention, this is not done with a constant Ver. constant speed regulated. In addition, the gear alignment causes difficulties in this known arrangement.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the figure. 1 with a network is referred to with which the AC machine 2 is to be synchronized. The switch with which the parallel connection is carried out after synchronization has taken place is denoted by 3. The Einrichtun conditions used to actuate this switch are not shown in the figure. 4 is the speed regulator of the prime mover driving the machine.
The Ge speed controller 4 is influenced by .dem third link of a differential gear 5, the two other links of which electric motors 6 and 7 are driven. Motors 6 and 7 are motors with shunt characteristics (for example direct current shunt motors or asynchronous motors). The engine 6 runs at a constant number of revolutions. The speed of the motor 7 depends on the setting of the resistor 8 connected as a voltage regulator. The voltage divider 8 is adjusted by a device 9 which is actuated according to the slip between the network and the machine.
An induction motor is denoted by 1.0, the rotor of which is coupled to the machine 2 to be synchronized and whose stator is connected to the network 1. The device 9, which responds according to the power consumption of the motor 10, is located in this connection line. The amount of I? Power consumption of the motor depends on the size of the slip.
The voltage divider 8 can also be influenced by any other device suitable for slip measurement, for example by a synchronoscope (double-fed motor).
If the slip is very large, that is to say at the beginning of the synchronization, the slide of the voltage divider 8 is on the far right in the figure, so that the motor 7 stops. The motor 6, on the other hand, runs, as mentioned, at a constant speed. There is therefore a powerful control of the engine corresponding to the large slip. The consequence of this is that the slip becomes smaller, so that the slide of the voltage divider 8 is gradually shifted to the left.
The motor 7 therefore begins to run; its speed increases, the more the slide of the voltage divider 8 is moved to the left.
The third link of the differential gear 5 rotates more and more slowly as a result of the increasingly smaller speed difference between the two on the other members of the differential gear, the influence of the drive machine by the controller 4 is becoming less and less. When the slip becomes zero, the speed of the motor 7 becomes equal to the constant speed of the motor 6, so that the speed controller 4 is no longer influenced by the differential gear. The connection of the machine 2 to the network 1 can now be made by a parallel switching device not shown in the figure.
In contrast to the known arrangements, the speed controller -1 is BEZW especially with very little slip. with a very small difference between the actual value and the setpoint, because the forces required for regulation are applied by both rotors 6 and 7. This has the advantage that an exact regulation takes place in the vicinity of the synchronicity and that direct action on the speed controller is possible.
The invention is not only for Syn chronization of. Suitable for alternating current generators with a power distribution network, but it can also be used to synchronize any rotating machines, for example the drive machines of ship propellers. If these machines are not alternating current generators, then you can drive small alternating current generators (clock generators) from these machines and use the voltages generated by these machines in the same way. as described above.
