Description

9 Teilen Natriumnitrit in 120 Teile konz.

Process for the preparation of an azo dye. According to the process described in the main patent, a blue acetate silk dye is obtained if diazotized 6-bromine-2, 4-dinitro-1-aminobenzene is coupled with 1-aminonaphthalene.

As has now been found, a dye with very similar properties is obtained if 6 - bromine - 2, 4 - nitro - 1 - aminobenzene is diazotized and coupled with di - (ogyethyl) - aminobenzene.

      <I> Example: </I> plan prepares a diazo solution by adding 29 parts of 6 - bromine - 2, 4 - dinitro - 1 - aminobenzene to 50 to 60 by entering 6,

9 parts of sodium nitrite in 120 parts of conc. Sulfuric acid, stir in nitrosylsulphuric acid and dilute the mass here by pouring it onto ice. The filtered sulfuric acid diazo solution runs into a cold solution of 18.1 parts of di- (ogyäthyl) - - aminobenzene in 500 parts of water and 11 parts of hydrochloric acid 23 'B6.

It is blunted with enough sodium acetate that the coupling is complete within a few hours. The dye is worked up as usual. It stains acetate silk lightfast blue-red.
