Description
Device for better heat utilization of the combustion gases from heating stoves. In general, the gases are insufficiently exploited in heating stoves, as the usual lines only absorb part of the heat of combustion and are able to release it into the room air, so. that a considerable part of the generated heat is discharged into the open air through the chimney. There are also a number of proposals have become known which pursue the purpose of improving the heat exchange by expanding the pipes or by placing ribs on them to enlarge the surface.
According to the invention, a good heat utilization of the combustion gases is achieved by a heater with a wave-like surface that is switched into the gas discharge path so that a plurality of separate secondary gas discharge channels connected to a main gas discharge channel of the heater is formed, the surface of all gas discharge channels being formed in the Is relatively large in relation to its total cross-section, furthermore by means
which .the hot gases lead into the secondary gas exhaust ducts.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in a schematic representation, namely FIG. 1 shows the radiator in a vertical section, FIG. 2 in a horizontal section along the line AA and FIG. 3 a section through the line BB in FIG . 1.
At the bottom of the jacket 1 of the radiator the inlet dome 2 connects with the line 3 and the outlet dome 4 at the top. Due to the wave-like design of the man means 1, apart from the central main gas outlet channel 5, separate secondary gas outlet channels 6 (Fig. 2) connected to it are formed such that the overall cross-section of the gas outlet channels has a large boundary line.
In the entry dome 2 'a displacement member 7 with a square cross-section is arranged, which the through 3! for the most part pushes incoming gases into the secondary gas outlet ducts.
The displacement organ can be made adjustable in height, so that the central channel 5 (Fig. 3) can be sealed off to a greater or lesser extent. Of course, the lines of the gases can also be effected by other means. For example, a displacement organ can also be arranged in the exit dome.
As seen from the drawing. is, the natural buoyancy of the gases such as horizontal or almost horizontal surfaces are avoided.
