\ experienced and machine tool for the production of workpieces using a template. The present invention relates to a process and a machine tool for producing workpieces by means of a template.
The method according to the invention consists in the fact that a button, which is pivotable about its end to be guided along the template and is displaceable ver in the pivot plane, and a tool connected to it, the part of which engages the workpiece in a similar or identical shape sits like the said button end, are used and that the movements of the button are transferred to the tool in such a way that when the button is guided along the template, the tool part describes a figure similar or congruent to the template and always the same to this figure Position has, like the mentioned button end to the template.
The method can be used for the manufacture of workpieces whose processing on ordinary machine tools is associated with certain difficulties, for example by grinding, turning, milling or pushing. It allows workpieces to be machined with the same tool in a single work step.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment from the machine tool for performing the method. It shows: Fig. 1 is a side view of the same, Fig. 2 is a plan view of this, Fig. 3 is a schematic representation of the parts used for the transmission of motion, Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of the setting of the template and workpiece for processing a flat steel mold, where tools and work pieces are shown on the left and template and button are shown on the right, Fig:
5 is a schematic representation of the setting of template and workpiece for processing a flat shape steel with relief-ground cutting edge, Fig. 6 is a schematic representation of the setting of template and workpiece for .das processing of a workpiece, the outline of which is only partially in the swivel area of the Tool is located, Fig. 7 is a representation of the parts of the machine which are used to turn the grinding wheel, Fig. 8 is a vertical section through the swivel head of the grinding wheel carrier and the suspension of the pantograph, Fig. 9 is a schematic representation of the setting of the template and workpiece for machining a round shaped steel, and Fig.
10 is a schematic representation of the setting of template and workpiece for processing a round shaped steel with a relief-ground cutting edge.
At a base 1 of one of the existing machine from a grinding machine Werkzeugma a slide 2 with Querschlit th 3 and longitudinal slide 4 is vertically slidable ver. The .Schlitten 2 is automatically moved up and down, the stroke can be adjusted depending on the height of the workpiece 6. On the table 5 of the longitudinal slide 4, a clamping table 5a is clamped. This table is tiltable about a horizontal axis 5b to.
Work pieces with angle of attack, for example form steels, produce or. to be able to grind. For rotating workpieces that are round in cross section, the spindle and tailstock can be attached to the longitudinal slide 4, the table 5a being omitted.
On the base 1, a support 7 is also attached, on which the rear panel table 8 and the front suspension arm 10 for the pantograph is attached. The pantograph 1.3, 14, 14a, 22, 22a is articulated on the hanging arm 10 with an axis 17b attached to the sliding guide 14 (FIG. 8).
The two-armed articulated boom 17, 17a is mounted on the side of the support 7 and the vertical pivot axis 23 of the tool carrier 15 passes through its head.
At the upper end, the axis 23 is rotatably connected to the sliding guide 14a of the pantograph. The legs 22 and 22a of the Pan tograph are connected to each other and to the arm 13 by countersunk hinge pins. The transmission ratio of the Pantograph phen can be adjusted in a known manner by sliding the sliding guides Ver 14 and 14a within the usual limits.
At the free end of the pantograph arm 13, the key carrier 12 is pivotably arranged with the key 11. The tip of the probe lies exactly in the extension, the pivot axis of the carrier 12 and the part of the grinding wheel 16 that engages the workpiece lies in the extension of the pivot axis of the tool carrier 15.
A three-part parallelogram linkage 19, 20, which is supported on an arm 21, is used to swivel the probe onto the grinding wheel. This rod pull has the consequence that the grinding wheel always rotates at the same angle as the probe is rotated.
The part of the grinding wheel 16 that engages the workpiece must have a similar or identical shape to that of the probe end to be guided along the template. The form is the same if the translation ratio is 1. If the transmission ratio is not 1, the shape is similar and the size ratio corresponds to the transmission ratio of the pantograph.
The turning or Profiling of the grinding wheel 16 takes place by means of a turning tool consisting of a diamond, as well as a stop ruler 3, 6 attached to the template table 8. The diamond 37 is set exactly on the table 5 to the center of the axis of the tool carrier 15. The readjustment of the grinding disk for turning it off is done by the screw 15a.
The button 11 is then guided back and forth along the ruler 36 in all angular positions (FIG. 7). The grinding wheel also moves past the diamond in the same angular positions because of the linkage 19, 20 and is turned off by the diamond, so that the part of the grinding wheel engaging the workpiece has the same or a similar shape as the stylus.
Only now can workpieces be processed according to a template stretched on the table with the grinding machine shown.
Workpieces of flat shape, such as For men gauges, shaped steels, etc., are attached to the inclinable work table 5a, and the template 9 on the template table 8 also tiltable about an axis 8a.
To pre-rough the profile, wider and blunt styli and grinding disks can be used than are necessary for final grinding.
The profile of the template is now generated on the workpiece by leading the button along the template with one end, the button that can be pivoted about this end always being brought into the angular position suitable for processing the workpiece. The pantagraph has the effect that the part of the grinding wheel that engages the workpiece describes a figure that is congruent or similar to the template. The figure is congruent if the transmission ratio of the pantograph is 1.
The pivoting of the probe around its end to be guided along the template is transmitted by the parallelogram linkage 19, 20 to the tool 16, in such a way that the plane of the grinding wheel 16 is constantly parallel to the longitudinal axis of the probe, so that the workpiece is attacking Part of the disc constantly has the same position in relation to the figure mentioned as the button in relation to the template.
For the production of flat shape steels the work table 5a is inclined to the desired angle a ge accordingly. The inclination of the workpiece a requires a correction of the profile shape, which is achieved by setting the template 9 at the same angle a (FIG. 4).
Should the shape steel a still be given relief grinding. so the template 9 is inclined even further to the corresponding to the rake angle, each to be calculated or determined by experiment additional angle y (Fig. 5).
For a round shaped steel b without relief, the centers of the work piece and grinding wheel are adjusted to the distance from the center of the work piece from the .Schnittlinie, measured on the finished shaped steel, with the template 9 lying horizontally. This results in the exact profile shape in the cutting height of the shaped steel (Fig. 9).
If it is a question of machining round shaped steels, the cutting edge of which is relief-ground, for example steel c in FIG. 10, then the: template 9 is inclined by the corresponding rake angle y to the horizontal.
Workpieces can be produced whose outline is only partially in the swivel range of the tool. In this case, the workpiece and the template are rotatably arranged around an axis that is perpendicular to the same and both are rotated by the same angular amounts until the entire outline has been processed, as indicated in FIG. 6, where the two parts are rotated, for example the angle m were rotated. This measure is particularly suitable for processing form stamps, push knives, etc.
A milling cutter would have to be used instead of the grinding wheel for milling workpieces.
The template could also consist of a finished work piece, whereby a table with spindle and tailstock would have to be mounted to accommodate the template.
Instead of using the rod assembly 19, 20, the pivoting movement of the probe could also be transmitted to the tool carrier with the aid of a flexible shaft, a cardan shaft or a chain gear.
