Vorrichtung zum Warmhalten von Heizplatten nach dem Wegnehmen des Kochgeschirres. Beim Kochen auf Heizplatten, speziell auf elektrisch geheizten Kochplatten, besteht der Übelstand, dass die Platten nach dem Wegnehmen des Kochgeschirres rasch er kalten und dass es dann eine gewisse Strom energie braucht, bis die Platte selbst so warm ist, um wieder kochen zu können, was einer Stromvergeudung gleichkommt.
Vorliegende Erfindung ist eine Vorrich tung zum Warmhalten von Heizplatten nach dem Wegnehmen des Kochgeschirres, mittelst welcher der vorerwähnte Nachteil behoben und das Kochen rationeller gestaltet wird.
Diese Vorrichtung zum Warmhalten von Heizplatten ist gekennzeichnet durch eine Platte aus unverbrennbarem, die Wärme schlecht leitenden Material.
Zweckmässig besteht diese Platte aus drei Materialschichten, aus einer Asbestplatte, aus einer Schicht Asbestwolle und aus einer Schicht Kieselgur, welche Materialien durch einen Blechbehälter, welcher unten offen und oben mit einem Griff versehen ist, zusammenge halten werden.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungs gegenstandes ist auf dem beiliegenden Zeich nungsblatt dargestellt.
Fig. 1 zeigt die Vorrichtung im Aufriss, geschnitten; Fig. 2 ist der zugehörige Grundriss und Fig. 3 ein Teil der Vorrichtung im grö sseren Massstab.
4 ist eine Asbestplatte. Über dieser Platte liegt eine Schicht Asbestwolle 5 und über dieser Wolle eine Schicht Kieselgur 6. Die Asbestplatten, die Asbestwolle und die Kiesel gurschicht befinden sich in einem unten offenen Blechbehälter 1. Damit die Asbest platte nicht aus dem Behälter 1 herausfällt, ist derselbe bei 1' etwas nach innen umge- bördelt. 3 ist ein Griff am Behälter 1, wel cher mittelst der Bride 2 am Behälter 1 befestigt ist. Wie die Vorrichtung auf eine Heizplatte aufgelegt wird, zeigt Fig. 3, in welcher 10 die Heizplatte darstellt.
Versuche haben gezeigt, dass eine erhitzte Heizplatte nach dem Abstellen des Stromes noch lange Zeit warm bleibt, wenn dieselbe mit der beschriebenen Vorrichtung bedeckt wird.
