Description

Inlay for keeping lilid collar tips straight. The subject of the present invention is an insert for keeping the clothes straight at the collar tips. The same should enable collar and lapel tips on vestons, coats, tuxedos, ladies jackets, tailcoats and the like to stay straight and no longer stand up or bend downwards from their original shape.

According to the invention, the insert consists of a thin, resilient sheet made of rustproof material, for example spring steel.

In the accompanying drawing, the subject is shown in an exemplary Ausfüh tion.

Fig. 1 shows two inlays in the collar of a men's Weston; Fig. 2 shows the same inserts in a slightly modified collar.

As the two figures show, the upper collar tip is seen with an insert a and the lapel tip with an insert b. Both inlays consist of thin, springy leaves made of stainless spring steel.

The interlinings are provided with holes to which they are sewn so that the interlinings are firmly attached to the fabric. Because the inserts are very thin, they cannot push through when the veston is ironed.

The insert a is designed in a frame shape d so that it crackles less.
