Description
Insert for the intake pipe of carburetor engines for better distribution of the fuel in the fuel air mixture. The object of the present invention is an insert for the intake pipe of carburetor engines for better distribution of the fuel in the fuel-air mixture. This insert is characterized in that it has at least one hollow body with a clamping flange that is broken through multiple times, the circumference of the hollow body decreasing from its end adjacent to the clamping flange to the other end, for the purpose of
To achieve an even, fine distribution of the fuel in the fuel-air mixture over the entire width of the intake pipe and thus an increased explosive power of the mixture.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention in vertical section 1 denotes the insert piece, which has two conical, multi-perforated hollow bodies 2 and 3. The hollow body 2 is provided with a clamping flange 4, with wel chem the insert is inserted into the intake pipe 10 of a carburetor engine. The at the hollow body 2 and 3 are pointed at the cone by a short piece of pipe 5 connected to each other and are somewhat from one another. The circumference of the hollow body 2 decreases from its end adjacent to the clamping flange 4 to the other end.
The openings 6 of the sheet metal, preferably sheet copper, conical hollow bodies 2 and 3 have been produced by attaching them to the initially smooth, conical walls of this body by means of horizontal slots 7 and pressing the sheet metal part located between two superimposed slots inward .
At the outlet of the nozzle 8 of the fuel pipe 9 of the carburetor, the fuel mixes with the sucked in air. When pulling through the perforations 6 of the conical hollow bodies 2 and 3, the fuel mixes even more intimately with the combustion air without being significantly diverted from the flow direction after the engine, so that the suction effect is not weakened significantly. The even, fine distribution of the fuel in the fuel-air mixture increases the explosive force compared to known carburetors.
The hollow body ', which is arranged in the hollow body 2, could be missing.
The hollow bodies can also consist of metal braiding. They can also be Para = boloid, bell or hemispherical, or they can be designed as a stepped cone. For the purpose of better circulation of air and fuel, the slots in the hollow bodies 2 and 3 can run instead of vertically obliquely and along a helical line ver, where they give a whirling movement to the mixture flowing through.
