Für den Abgriff der Zuleitung zu 6 und 7 kann gegebenenfalls auch eine Potentiometerschaltung dienen. Die Kathode 11 ist hier als direkt geheizter, mit emittie render Schicht versehener Glühdraht darge stellt, der über den Transformator 12 aus einem Wechselstromnetz gespeist wird;
Infolgedessen spricht jetzt die Thyratronröhre 23 an und infolge ihrer hohen Stromdurchlässigkeit werden die Kapazitäten 22 und 5, 6 praktisch momen tan entladen, wodurch der Lichtfleck an den Anfangspunkt der neuen Bildzeile. zurück springt. Hiernach beginnt die Wiederaüf- ladung von 22 bezw. 5, 6;
Device for synchronizing cathode ray picture recorders. The present invention relates to a device for synchronizing cathode ray picture recorders, in particular for television and remote cinema purposes, using flip-flops that are kept going by corrective pulses from the transmitter.
In such devices it is already known to use the cathode ray image recorder (Braun tube) in such a way that the brightness of the light spot on the fluorescent screen changes from point to point. Point is controlled by the transmitter, while at the same time the light spot sweeps the image field in adjoining lines. This latter movement must be synchronized with the decomposition process of the same direction of the image to be transmitted on the transmitter and kept in phase.
It is already known to use locally generated tilting vibrations at the receiver for this purpose, which are kept in step by the pulses transmitted by the transmitter. The invention consists in that an unlocking voltage can be supplied for the synchronous and in-phase line movement of the image-generating light spot of the control electrode of the tilting element through the rectified transmitter currents, and that the control electrode is also connected to a controllable voltage source acting in the opposite direction,
whose blocking effect can only be canceled by the moving cathode ray bundle, and only after the image line has ended, with the aid of a blocking electrode attached to the edge of the image.
The shift of the light spot perpendicular to the direction of the image line (feed) can be controlled by an independent flip-flop circuit of the simplest type, which can easily be readjusted by hand, for example by means of a glow lamp, capacitor and charging resistor (ohmic resistance or electron tube working in the saturation current area) .
It is of course also possible, for a very precise and stable pixel distribution, to control the period and phase of the second flip-flop circuit from which the line movement controls the flip-flop circuit. to make functionally dependent on the correction impulses of the transmitter.
An embodiment of the device according to the Invention is shown in the drawing. Here, 1 denotes the Braun tube used to generate the image with the image field 2 bordered by dashed lines, which is built up by the light spot in individual lines that may run in the direction of arrow 3.
They are all put back in the same direction and in the same direction, as is peculiar to the control by flip-flops. For this purpose, the transmitter can also work with the aid of a cathode ray oscilloscope, but also with the aid of mechanical dismantlers, which enable a corresponding dismantling movement (Nipkow disk, mirror wheel, etc.).
In any case, a short interval for generating and transmitting the correction pulse is switched on after each image line. In order to save special Vorrich lines on the transmitter, you can make use of the "bright image edge" method in the simplest case, where the correction pulse is triggered photoelectrically.
The dashed line 4 indicates the position of the cathode ray bundle at the starting point of the image; the plate pairs 5, 6 and 7, 8, which can optionally also be replaced by magnetic coils, are used for its spatial movement in a known manner. The plate pair 7, S may control the line feed; The second toggle switch required for this and discussed above will not be discussed further here:
One electrode each of both control systems, in the drawing 6 and 7, is connected via the connecting line 16 to the anode DC voltage source 13 at a point that has a sufficiently high negative potential with respect to the diaphragm-shaped anode 9 to prevent interference with the exact To avoid light point deflection due to charging effects that arise in the tube as a result of the ionization of the gas residue.
A potentiometer circuit can also be used to tap the supply lines to 6 and 7. The cathode 11 is here as a directly heated filament provided with an emitting render layer, which is fed via the transformer 12 from an alternating current network;
Of course, the use of so-called indirectly heated cathodes is also within the scope of the invention. The Wehnelt cylinder 10 used for brightness control (concentration control) receives a suitable negative bias voltage from the DC voltage source 14 via the modulation resistor 15. In order to be able to additionally influence the initial position of the light spot from the outside,
a permanent magnet 17 is used, for example, which is brought into a suitable position relative to the tube 1; For more precise settings, an adjustable permanent or current-excited magnet with appropriate pole arrangements placed around the tube will be used. The anode 9 is grounded at 33.
The electrode shapes described above and shown in the drawing will of course be carried out according to the respective prior art. For example, the Wehnelt cylinder 10 does not necessarily have to have this shape.
It can also be replaced by a properly arranged aperture, a ring, a wire mesh or the like. Likewise, the shape of the anode 9 and the cathode 11 can be varied as desired, and finally additional auxiliary grids, for example screen grids, are conceivable to improve the brightness control or the spatial control respectively. to make more sensitive.
The following device is used for brightness control: The high-frequency currents picked up by the wireless receiver 19 are amplified and demodulated, the low-frequency current fluctuations amplified in the end amplifier 20, which correspond to the scanned brightness curve of the transmitted image, are passed through the modulation resistor 15 and generate the there , the Wehnelt cylinder 10 imposed potential fluctuations,
which on the way via the change in concentration of the electron beam the light spot brightness in the image field \? modulate.
The following device is used to control the line movement: In parallel with the modulation resistor 15, the high resistance 26 through which the rectified image current flows is at the output of the power amplifier 20. The adjustable capacitor 22, which is shunted to the control plates 5 and 6, is charged at the beginning of each image line from the direct current source 13 via the line 16 and the very high resistor 21. where due to the growing potential difference between 5 and 6 the light spot passes through its line path.
The voltage, capacitance and resistance data of this circuit are chosen so that work is carried out in the practically straight part of the charge curve of the capacitor 22. As a result, the light spot moves along the line at a constant speed. This behavior is made possible by the fact that the partial voltage tapped at the direct voltage source 13 via the line 16 is very high: compared to the maximum voltage required between the plates 5 and 6. It follows from this that the circuit must flip long before the capacitor 22 is fully charged.
A controlled glow relay or any kind of hot cathode tube circuit is used for this purpose; the same is shown using a thyratron tube 23 with a hot cathode, anode 24 and control grid 25.
The latter receives a negative locking voltage from the anode quiescent current of the amplifier tube 28 with the aid of the voltage drop generated at the resistor 27. Only when a sufficiently high positive potential is impressed on the control grid 25 can the discharge path anode-hot cathode of the thyratron 23 respond and discharge the capacitor 22, as well as the parallel pair of plates 5, 6, except for the very low breakaway voltage of the gas path.
This positive control potential or unlocking potential can now be delivered to the thyratron only by an additional voltage drop across the resistor 26, which is traversed by both the rectified image current and the correction pulse sent after each image line. Care must now be taken to ensure that the unlocking of the thyratron and thus the tilting of the arrangement cannot be effected during the image line itself by the transmission pulses that arise in bright image areas.
For this purpose, the tube 1 arranged in the brown see at the edge of the picture, for example a straight insulated wire attached close to the screen surface. As long as this wire is not hit by the cathode ray beam, it flows through the amplifier tube 28 with the control grid 29 and the Anode current source 30 is a suitably set quiescent current. The voltage drop produced here by resistor 27 is so large that even with the strongest pulses from the image transmitter, the potential of thyratron control electrode 25 can never become positive due to their counteraction at the terminals of resistor 26.
If, however, after the end of the image line, the wire 18 is hit by the deflected electron beam, the control grid 29 of the tube 28 is currently highly negatively charged, the anode current is blocked in 28, and the voltage drop across the resistor 27 is therefore zero; and as a result, the correction pulse transmitted by the transmitter following the image line is now suddenly effective as a result of the positive voltage that it triggers at resistor 26 and issued to control electrode 25.
As a result, the thyratron tube 23 now responds and due to its high current permeability, the capacitors 22 and 5, 6 are practically discharged instantaneously, causing the light spot to be at the starting point of the new image line. jumps back. After that, recharging begins from 22 and 5, 6;
But before a voltage difference sufficient to restart the discharge has arisen between the anode 24 and the hot cathode of the thyratron 23, the grid 29 of the tube 28 has been sufficiently discharged via the discharge resistor 31, so that again the quiescent current flows and the voltage drop across the resistor 27 ensures the locking of the thyratron. The adjustable capacitor 32 is intended for setting the time constants of the locking arrangement.
As can be seen, the device described above works with a relatively low cost of resources, since only a simple cheap incandescent cathode tube of lowest power (28) and a small, also very cheap to manufacture thyratron tube (23) is required for the line control. As already mentioned above, the line feed can also be done with simple means, glow lamp,
Capacitor and charging resistor or charging tube. But it is also possible to connect the tilting device for the line feed with the tilting device for the line movement.
This can be done in such a way that a part of the amount of electricity flowing through the thyratron tube 23 at the end of each image line is used to give the deflection capacitor 7, 8 a charge increase for the line feed, such that this capacitor is gradually charged.
The charging of the deflection capacitor 7, 8 is expediently done via a second Kon capacitor, the parallel to the Plat th 7; 8 switched to think. At the end of the whole picture, the cross deflection capacitor can be discharged parallel to 7 and 8 by a second thyratron, glow relay or the like, which only responds to a special synchronization pulse triggered depending on the whole picture.
In order to ensure the selective response to this special transmission pulse, the same can be transmitted via suitable reception filters, for example with the aid of a frequency that does not occur in the image modulation.
