Conversation counter attached to the telephone with microphone and microphone holder. The present invention is a built-in telephone set with microphone and microphone holder Ge conversation counter, which latter is actuated by the movements that the microphone carries out when the microphone is placed back on the microphone holder at the end of a conversation.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Fig. 1 shows it in front view, Fig. 2 in side view, Fig. 3 in front view, but with partially removed protective cover on a larger scale; Fig. 4 shows the protective cover of the meter in a side view and on an enlarged scale; Fig. 5 shows the counter in side view with the protective cover removed and on an enlarged scale.
The microphone holder of the telephone set has a horizontal part 1 and two vertically bent forks 2 intended to receive the microtelephones. On both sides of the rod 3 firmly connected to part 1 there is a bracket 4, by means of which the counter is grown on part 5 of the telephone set. For this purpose, each clamp 4 is provided with a hook-shaped extension ö and with a screw 7, which is tightened and holds the meter in place.
In order to prevent the meter from being removed by unauthorized persons, each screw 7 is provided with a hole 8 which, for example in connection with a hole 25 in the clamp 4, serves to receive a seal.
The horizontal part I of the microphone holder is encompassed by a fork 9 which is firmly connected to a rod 10 which is connected to one of the brackets 4 by means of screws 12 and ears 11. Slots 13 are provided on the rods 10 which allow the rod 10 to move vertically up and down.
On a shaft 14 perpendicular to the rod 10, a known wheel counter is arranged on. On the shaft 14, a blinker wheel 15 with ten ratchet teeth 16 is arranged, also a sector-like plate 17 on which a pawl 18 is fastened by means of screw 19 and is pressed by a spring 20 against the blinker wheel 15.
The plate 17 is provided with an elongated opening 21 into which a pin 22 which is attached to the rod 10 engages. The longitudinal axis of the opening is perpendicular to the direction of movement of the rod 10. If the latter is moved downwards, the plate 17 and thereby the indicator 18 is carried along by the pin 22, the indicator wheel 15 rotates around the shaft 14 and takes the one on the far right Numbers wheel with.
The downward movement of the rod 10 is generated by the fact that the microtelephone is placed on its holder, that is to say on the forks 2, after a conversation has ended. If the microphone is removed again at the beginning of the next call, the microphone holder will be known to shoot up a certain distance. This also pulls the pawl 18 upwards, but the number wheels and the blinker wheel 15 remain.
The distance between two adjacent pawl teeth 16 is dimensioned such that it corresponds to the full upward movement of the pawl 18, so that the pawl 18 is able to engage the next following pawl tooth 16 after this movement has ended.
It would also be possible to omit the upper tooth of the fork 9; so that only the downward movement of the part 1 would be transmitted un indirectly to the rod 10; this would then be pushed up by a suitable force, for example a tension or compression spring or a counterweight, in such a way that it would follow an upward movement of the part 1.
It is not necessary; that the movement of the rod 10 is just as great as that of part 1; the former can also be smaller or larger than the latter; a smaller movement could be achieved, for example, in that the distance between the two teeth of the fork 9 is made larger than the thickness of the part 1; if the upper tooth of the fork 9, as described above, is replaced by a spring or the like, the upward movement of the rod 10 can be limited, for example, by a stop.
It is also possible to make the movement of the rod 10 smaller or larger than that of the microphone holder by providing a leverage.
Furthermore, the mechanism can be covered by a protective cover 23. In this case as many openings 24 are to be provided on the protective cover as there are number wheels in order to make the numbers of the number wheels visible through the openings. It is of course also possible; to combine all openings 24 into a single, larger opening.
