Fig. 1 zeigt den innern Teil einer Ein spritzdüse, Fig. 2 das auf ,der Einspritzseite liegende Ende der Düse nach Fig. 1 in grösserem Massstab; Fig. 3 und 4 stellen in gleicher Weise eine andere Einspritzdüse ;dar; in Fig. 5 ist der innere Teil einer Einspritz düse mit Toreinspritzung, in Fig. 6 die Einspritzpumpe dazu darge stellt;
Injection device for internal combustion engines. The invention relates to an injection device for internal combustion engines with an injection nozzle, the needle of which is designed as a violet slide, which is displaced against the injection chamber by the liquid pressure during injection and opens the outlet cross-section for the fuel.
In the known nozzles of this type, the needle has a constriction close to its end facing the injection chamber. At the transition from this constriction to the end piece of the needle forming the piston slide there is a circular control edge.
In the closed position of the needle, the pushrod-like end piece fits in the cylindrical part of the guide hole in the nozzle body and is intended to prevent fuel from dripping out of the nozzle as long as it is closed. Only when its slide-like end piece has been moved out of the cylindrical part of its guide bore during the opening stroke of the needle, so that between the control edge on the needle and an edge at the end of the cylindrical part,
the guide bore creates an annular gap, the fuel is to be driven through this annular gap into the injection chamber.
The stroke of the needle from the beginning of its opening movement to the opening of the outlet gap must be kept very small in this known injection nozzle, because the needle, as soon as it has closed the outlet gap during the closing movement, over the remainder of its closing movement on the fuel in the The holes in the nozzle holder and in the pressure line acts like a pushing piston. The small final travel of the needle results in a small overlap from the control edge on the needle to the edge at the end of the needle guide.
With this small overlap, the nozzle only holds tight if the piston slide at the end of the needle is fitted into the guide bore with the utmost care. Such a finely fitted needle, however, easily gets stuck during operation as a result of the unavoidable thermal expansion, so that the nozzle stops working properly.
The requirements for the fitting of the slide-like needle end into the guide bore can be reduced while the tightness of the nozzle remains the same and the disadvantage of the needle sticking can be eliminated if, according to the invention, at least one injection bore in one of the two sliding surfaces on the. Sehieber resp. his leadership flows,
from which the fuel injects into the injection chamber over the injection time. Instead of each ring-shaped exit gap of both known designs, one or more holes then appear. The overlap that exists when the nozzle is closed is no longer here than in the known design. Nevertheless, a better seal results with the same quality of fit.
This is probably due to the fact that in the known design, the overlap is very short over the entire circumference of the calf slide and results in a large leech cross-section, while in the injection device according to the invention these short overlaps are only there
where the small spray bores open into the sliding surface, i.e. only on a small part of the entire circumference of the piston valve.
The drawing relates to three execution examples of the subject invention.
1 shows the inner part of an injection nozzle, FIG. 2 shows the end of the nozzle according to FIG. 1 lying on the injection side on a larger scale; 3 and 4 similarly illustrate another injection nozzle; In Fig. 5 is the inner part of an injection nozzle with gate injection, in Fig. 6, the injection pump to Darge provides;
Fix. 7 shows the end of the nozzle according to FIG. 5 on a larger scale with the needle open. According to FIGS. 1 and Z, the nozzle holder a has a threaded connector b at its inner end, on whose flat end face a likewise flat end face of the nozzle body c is tightly pressed by a union nut d.
A nozzle needle e is slidably fitted into the continuous, smooth longitudinal bore of the nozzle body c. A slightly thicker part of the nozzle needle protrudes from the nozzle body c into the bore f in the nozzle holder.
A helical spring g rests on the forehead of the nozzle body, presses against a collar h at the outer end of the nozzle needle and thus usually holds the nozzle needle in the closed position against the pressure of the fuel acting on it by pressing the outer end of the needle against it a paragraph in. Nozzle holder at the transition to the fuel supply bore i. presses into the other hole f.
The needle has an axial bore k which extends from its outer end to close to its inside. In the vicinity of the inner end of the needle, fine needle bores are seen, which lead from the needle bore k, which is constantly connected to the bore, at an angle to the surface of the needle part that is designed as a piston slide.
In the closed position, the mouths of the needle holes in the needle surface are completely covered by the needle guide in the nozzle body c.
Only when the fuel is delivered by the injection pump does the needle move against the pressure of the spring g so far that the orifices of the injection bores emerge from the needle guide (Fix. 2) and the conveyed fuel can eject through the injection bores. After the injection, the spring g returns the needle to its closed position.
According to FIGS. 3 and 4, the spray bores are housed in, in the nozzle body c near the lower end. The nozzle needle e, which acts as a piston slide, has a constriction n near all of its lower end, zlx which the fuel can flow out of the space f unhindered.
The transition full of the constriction n to the piston-like end piece o of the needle forms a control edge p. In the closed position of the needle overdeect the end piece o the mouths of the injection holes located in the wall of the needle guide m. But as soon as the control edge p on the opening stroke of the needle : the mouths of the holes m slides away, the fuel squirts out through the holes m.
According to FIGS. 5 to 7 two rows of spray bores are arranged one above the other in the nozzle body c, which are opened one after the other. The upper row q consists of a few, very fine bores and is intended to achieve a pre-injection before the main injection, in which the main amount of fuel is injected through the later opened row m of holes.
So that the start of the pre-injection and the main injection do not follow one another too quickly, which would render the advantage of a softer engine gear that can be achieved by the pre-injection superfluous, the cam r of the injection pump is designed with a corresponding shoulder.
