Pressluftniotor.
Compressed air notor. In the known compressed air motors with shoveled rotary pistons, due to the arrangement of the inlet and outlet openings, it is not easily possible to run the motor in both directions of rotation, so that in such cases either a gearbox must be used or one for each direction of rotation special engine. The motor that is not working is either actively decoupled from the drive shaft itself by means of an overrunning clutch or is taken along in the wrong direction.
Such arrangements are, however, relatively complex and special measures are required in the last-mentioned solution to prevent the incorrectly running engine and therefore acting as a compressor from consuming too much compression work.
For reversing compressed air motors, in particular for drilling machines, a manual reversing device has also been used, which in turn actuates a second reversing device by means of compressed air, which then finally controls the inlet and outlet openings of the compressed air motor.
The invention relates to a reversible compressed air motor with a shoveled, eccentrically mounted rotary piston, which is controlled by reversing the flow direction of the compressed air in both directions of rotation and consists in the fact that the motor is provided with two connecting pieces, which depending on the desired direction of rotation as a let- or Use outlet nozzles for the compressed air, and that the vane housing, which is bounded on both sides by lateral end plates, is connected to annular control chambers by inlet and lateral outlet openings,
which are arranged between the side end plates of the vane housing and recesses in the side covers and are connected to the nozzles through side connecting holes and in each of which there is a closing device, which closing devices are controlled by the incoming and outgoing air in such a way that for one certain ge desired direction of rotation bezw one of the two locking devices by the excess pressure of the fresh air on their seat. The seat is pressed and thereby closes the outlet openings corresponding to the other direction of rotation,
while the other closing device, the control chamber of which is then connected to the outside air, is lifted off by the air flowing out.
The drawing shows a Ausführungsbei game of the invention in longitudinal and cross-section. Therein 1 denotes the blade housing, 2 the rotating piston, 3 the blades; 4 and 5 the two housing covers with the ring-shaped control chambers 6 and 7, 8 the valve disks, which are pressed against the two end plates 10 since union, for example by helical springs 9. 11 and 12 denote the inlet respectively. the lateral outlet openings for the direction of rotation direction clockwise, 13 and 14 the corresponding openings for the opposite direction of rotation. The lateral holes 15 and 16 connect the two connecting pieces 17 and 18 to the control chambers 6 and 7.
In the direction of rotation indicated by the arrow in Fig. 1, the compressed air enters the nozzle 17 and from there passes through the bores 11 behind the blades 3. At the same time, the air can also enter the control chamber 6 through the connecting holes 15, so that the associated poppet valve 8 is pressed against the plate 10. The outlet openings 14 can therefore not take effect, and the outlet can only take place when the cells formed by two adjacent blades have reached the area of the openings 12, so that the air can flow through these openings, the connecting holes 16 and the connection clip 18 can escape into the open.
The same applies to the opposite direction of rotation, the two connecting pieces 17 and 18, the two poppet valves 8 and the bores 12, 14, 15 and 16 exchanging their roles while the blades are being accessed the openings 13 takes place.
Instead of the common poppet valves for all outlet openings, each individual opening can also be provided with a special valve, e.g. B. a ball valve can be controlled.
