Description

Casing used to package cube-shaped products such as sugar, etc. In the previously known types of packaging for sugar cubes, another shell is brought tight on the shell in which the sugar lumps are wrapped by machine. which leaves the end faces of the prismatic body free. Difficulties arose when opening these parcels, as tearing it open was laborious and time-consuming due to the poor accessibility of the tightly fitting outer cover, which was sometimes glued together with the inner cover.

It has also been suggested. as a tear-off means for packaging sleeves respectively cords. Use threads attached to the inside of the sleeve. However, this has the disadvantage that the manufacture of the sleeves is complicated by the gluing of the cords.

In contrast, the casing forming the subject matter of the present invention avoids this inadequacy, namely by virtue of the fact that in the casing with tear-off means serving as packaging for cube-shaped materials such as sugar, soup cubes, etc., a protruding tongue serves as a tear-off means, which forms the continuation of a part of the shell limited by two tear lines weakening the shell material.

The sleeve is preferably made of paper which is cut from one piece, and the marking of the tear lines is expediently done by perforation or strong folds or in some other suitable manner.

In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention is Darge, namely shows: Fig. 1 a packet that is packed with the envelope, and Fig. 2 the envelope itself.

1 shows the protruding tongue, which forms the continuation of the part 3 of the envelope 4 delimited by the two tear lines 2, 2 'that weaken the envelope material. The tear lines are formed by perforations. If one now wants to open the packet, the tongue 1 is pulled backwards, as indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 1, whereby the envelope is torn open along the tear lines and falls apart.

The tongue 1 can be reinforced so that it is easy to grasp, for example by a cardboard sheet glued to it.
