Vane pump operated with compressed air. The subject of the invention is a vane pump which is operated by means of compressed air. The pump has a housing that simultaneously serves to absorb the compressed air and the liquid to be pumped. In this housing, a pump blade separates the compressed air from the liquid to be pumped.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a section on the line I-I of Fig. 3; Fig. 2 is a section along the line II-II of Fig. 3, Fig. 3 is a section through the pump axis; Fig. 4 is a section on the line IV-IV of Fig. 3; Fig. 5 is a detail.
The pump housing is denoted by 1. It carries a bearing piece 2, onto which a cover 3 is screwed. In the housing 1 and the bearing piece 2, the swing axis 5 is superimposed ge. It carries the pump blade 4 which rubbing inside the housing on both sides and whose hub is machined smooth. On the 1 \ Tabe grind spacers 6 and 7. The latter divide the interior of the housing on each of the two sides of the pump blade in two chambers 8 and 9 respectively. 10 and 11. Inside the housing, the pump blade separates the compressed air from the liquid to be pumped.
At the intermediate piece 7 provided with two continuous bores, the pump valves 12 and 13 provided with movable valve flaps are attached. The valve flaps swing about axes 14, 15 and 16 are bores in the housing into which valve seats 18 and 19 with valve flaps 2, 0 and 21 are installed. These flap valves work as pressure valves.
The suction port 22 is ver through the valves 12 and 13 with the chambers 10 and 11 connected.
The outflow nozzle 23 is also connected to the chambers 10 and 11 through the channels 24 and 25 running in the walls of the housing, the valves 18, 20 and 19, 21 and the connections 26 and 27. The chambers 8 and 9 of the working space for the air are connected to the control channels 30 and 31 through the channels 28 and 29 (FIG. 2).
A distributor 32 serving as a control element is installed in the intermediate piece 2 centrally to the oscillation axis. The distributor channels 33 and 34 (FIG. 2), as well as the passages 35 and 36, are recessed in the distributor. A shut-off valve 37 is also built into the intermediate piece 2 and allows the compressed air supply line 3.8 to be connected to the inlet channel 39. The exhaust is through opening 40.
A driver 41 is pinned on the shaft 5. Through a recess 42 he takes the loosely oscillating on the axis 5 lever 43, which protrudes with a nose 44, and with quite a bit of play in this recess from it. The nose 44 has the task of taking the distributor 32 with it. For this purpose, the latter has the recess 45.
The bolt 46 is pressed into the lever 43. It carries a tension spring 47, which presses on the roller 48 moving with the bolt 49 in the slots 50 of the lever 43. A cam 51 is provided in the interior of the cover 3. The roller 48 runs on it.
The axle is sealed against the outside with a felt ring 52. A protective cap 53 covers the end of the axle 5, which carries a square 54, by means of which, in the event of a lack of compressed air, the pump can be operated by means of a hand crank.
The pump shown works as follows: The compressed air flows through the compressed air line 3 $ into the chamber 5, 6, from there it flows through the cock 37 and the channels 39, 34, 31, 2 $ into the chamber 9, where it presses through to the right-hand part of the wing 4 (FIG. 1), which executes a downward movement in the direction of the arrow.
At the same time, the air, which is present in the chamber 8, through the channels 29, 30, 33, the bearing piece 2, the recesses 35 and 36 and the exhaust 40 find their way on the left side. .
Under the right-hand part of the pump wing, the liquid present is pressed through the open valve 21 and the channel 25 into the outlet 23. The left-hand part of the wing makes an upward movement and sucks the liquid into the suction chamber 10 through the suction nozzle 2, 2 and the valve 12.
The driver 41 participates in the movement of the wing. The lever 43 follows. Then the roller 4'8 rises on the cam 51 and presses the spring 47 together. As soon as the wing has covered so much distance that the axis of the lever 43 has come into the dot-dash position (FIG. 4), the roller 48 jumps off the cam 51. The resulting sudden movement of the lever 43 about the axis moves the control piston 32 so that the channels 33 and 34 are displaced and the connection between the inlet 39 and the channel 30 and between the channel 31 and the outlet opening 40 is established becomes.
The game repeats itself in the opposite sense. Since the pump blade receives a reciprocating movement.
