Watch movement with jumping hours. The present invention relates to a clockwork movement with jumping hours. ('This is characterized by a finger mounted rotatably on a disc integral with the roadway and taking, under the action of a res out, a position such that it engages during the rotation of the disc in the teeth of a star wheel bearing the jumping hours and by a fixed member projecting in the path of said finger, so that the latter is retained at each turn of the road, against its spring, to then escape from said fixed or gane by suddenly pulling the star wheel.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example and schematically, one embodiment of the object of the present invention and two variants.
Fig. 1 is a plan view and FIG. 2 a section along II-II of FIG. 1; his fig. 3 is a section similar to FIG. 2, showing the second variant; fig. 4 is a section along IV-IV of FIG. 3. According to fig. 1 and 2 ', on the toothed disc 1 and force-adjusted on the roadway 2, is fixed a pivoting finger 3, held in the position shown in FIG. 1 by a spring 4 with two branches. The axis of rotation of the finger is eccentric with respect to the disc.
The finger 3 meets at each rotation of the disc or toothed wheel 1, ie once an hour, a pin 5 fixed to the plate 6 of the movement.
Above this pin is a star wheel 7 on which the hour disc is fixed and whose blasting is controlled by a jumper spring 8.
Instantaneous blasting of the hour disc is obtained as follows: The disc 1 advancing in the direction of rotation indicated by the arrow f, the finger 3, meeting the pin 5, moves around its pivot to arm the one of the branches of the spring .I and disarm the other branch. The finger 3 ,, after having escaped from the pin 5, hits one of the teeth of the star wheel 7, and by pushing it suddenly, it makes it perform a jump controlled by the jumper spring 8.
This mechanism works in both directions in the same way.
The disc with the minutes indication could be mounted directly on disc 1. In the arrangement shown, the disc 1 being toothed, meshes with another wheel 9 carrying the same number of teeth and on which the minute disc is mounted.
It is possible to make the center of the minute disc 9 coincide with that of the second of the clockwork movement, which allows the jumping hour movement to be fitted with a seconds hand.
The mechanism composed of the finger. 3 and the spring 4 can be mounted either above or below the disc 1.
The pin 5 can be replaced by a projection 11 formed at the bridge of the hours disc or at the plate 6, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.
