Klapptisch. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Klapptisch, wie solche an einer aufrechten Stütze, zum Beispiel einer Wand, einer Säule, angeordnet werden können und insbesondere in den A<B>b</B> teilen von Eisenbahnwagen Verwendung fin den. Der Klapptisch ist dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass die Tischplatte mit einem zapfenartigen Organ verbunden ist, für das eine Führung vorgesehen ist, in deren untern Teil ,das Organ nur längs der Führung ver schoben werden kann, wobei die Tischplatte annähernd parallel zur Führung liegt, wäh rend es im obern Teil ,der Führung soweit gedreht werden kann, bis die Tischplatte in der Gebrauchsstellung liegt.
Bei in Eisenbahnwagen angeordneten Klapptischen liegen die Platten in der Ruhe lage parallel zur Wagenwand, an der sie befestigtsind und werden in ,die Gebrauchs lage hochgeklappt und mittelst Streben ge stützt. Ein Nachteil dieser Tische ist, dass das Aufklappen immer mit einer Störung der zunächst sitzenden Fahrgäste verbunden ist und dass zum Aufklappen nahe dem Boden viel Platz benötigt wird, der zweck mässiger zur Aufbewahrung von Gegenstän den, wie Reisegepäck, verwendet werden kann.
Die Stützstreben werden durch Un achtsamkeit leicht umgeklappt, während beim Tisch nach der Erfindung Stützstreben vollständig vermieden sind.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht den Klapptisch nach der Erfindung in beispiels weiser Ausführung in Gebrauchsstellung, in Fig. 1 im Längsschnitt und in Fig. 2 in Druntersicht und im Schnitt nach Linie I-I der Fig. 1.
Die die Stütze des Klapptisches bildende Wand 1 trägt eine annähernd vertikal an geordnete Führung 2, die zweckmässig zwei teilig ausgebildet ist, nämlich aus einer Grundplatte 3 und einer Deckschiene 4' #be- steht. Der bogenförmig gekrümmte Tragarm 7 des Tisches weist einen hochkantigen Querschnitt auf und ist in einem vertikalen Längsschlitz 5 der Deckschiene 4 der Füh- rung 2 geführt, so dass ein seitliches Ver- schwenken des Tisches verhindert ist.
In der Führung 2 ist ein. zapfenartiges Organ 6 vorhanden, das eine Gleitbewegung aus führen kann. An dem Organ 6 ist der Trag arm 7 des Tisches befestigt, .der durch .den Längsschlitz 5 nach aussen reicht und die Tischplatte 8 trägt. Die bogenförmige Krüm mung des Tragarmes ermöglicht, dass die Tischplatte in der Ruhestellung, in der sie annähernd parallel zur Wand 1 liegt; ausser halb der Führung und an dieser anliegt.
Das Organ 6 hat zylindersegmentförmige Gestalt, und .die Höhe des Zylindersegmentes entspricht annähernd dem Abstand der Grundplatte 3 von ,der Deckschiene 4 der Führung 2.
Am obern Ende geht die Führung 2 in eine annähernd zylindrische Erweiterung 8' über, deren grümmungshalbmesser an nähernd dem Halbmesser des Organes 6 ent spricht. An der Grundplatte 3 der Führung 2 ist ein Anschlag 9 vorhanden, der mit der Basis 10 :des Zylindersegmentes 6 zusammen- #virkt und in solcher Höhe angeordnet ist, ciass .das Zylindersegment 6 nur in eine sol che Lage verschwenkt werden kann, dass die Tischplatte 8 senkrecht zur Ebene der Wand 1, also horizontal liegt (Fig. 1).
In der Ruhestellung befindet sich die Tischplatte 8 in annähernd paralleler Lage zur Wand 1 und das Segment 6 am untern Ende der Führung 2 und liegt mit der Basis an .der Grundplatte 3 an. Zum Ge- ,brauch wird die Tischplatte 8 und damit das Segment 6 in der Führung 2 aufwärts ge zogen, bis das Segment in die Ausnehmung $' gelangt und gegen das geschlossene Ende der Führung anschlägt.
In dieser Läge wird .die Tischplatte in der Drehungsrichtung des Uhrzeigers verschwenkt, also niedergeklappt, wobei sich das .Segment 6 in der Aus- nehmun,g 8' so lange dreht, :bis die Basis des Segmentes an dem Anschlag 9 anliegt (Fig. 1).
An Stelle der veranschaulichten Anord nung, bei der nur ein einziges in einer Symmetrieebene der Tischplatte angeord- netes zapfenartiges Organ verwendet wird, können auch mehrere solcher Organe vor gesehen- werden. In diesem Falle ist eine Sicherung .gegen seitliches Verschwenken nicht erforderlich. Man kann aber auch zum .Beispiel ein einziges kugelsegmentförmiges oder ein prismatisches langgestrecktes Or gan vorsehen. Die Neigung des Tisches in der Ruhe- und Gebrauchsstellung in hezug auf ,die Stütze oder den Boden kann den jeweiligen Verhältnissen angepasst werden.
Der Tisch nimmt in der Ruhelage wenig Raum ein und erfordert in der Gebrauchs stellung keine Strebe.
Folding table. The invention relates to a folding table, such as can be arranged on an upright support, for example a wall, a column, and in particular in the A <B> b </B> parts of railroad cars used. In the case of folding tables arranged in railroad cars, the panels are in the rest position parallel to the wall of the car to which they are attached and are folded up in the position of use and supported by means of struts. A disadvantage of these tables is that opening them always interferes with the passengers who are initially seated and that a lot of space is required close to the floor to open them, which can be used more conveniently for storing objects, such as luggage.
The support struts are easily folded over by un mindfulness, while support struts are completely avoided in the table according to the invention.
The drawing illustrates the folding table according to the invention in an exemplary embodiment in the position of use, in FIG. 1 in longitudinal section and in FIG. 2 in bottom view and in section along line I-I of FIG.
The wall 1 forming the support of the folding table carries an approximately vertically arranged guide 2, which is expediently designed in two parts, namely consisting of a base plate 3 and a cover rail 4 ′. The curved support arm 7 of the table has an edged cross section and is guided in a vertical longitudinal slot 5 of the cover rail 4 of the guide 2, so that the table is prevented from pivoting to the side.
In the guide 2 is a. pin-like organ 6 present, which can perform a sliding movement. The support arm 7 of the table is attached to the organ 6, which extends outward through the longitudinal slot 5 and supports the table top 8. The arcuate curvature of the support arm enables the table top in the rest position in which it is approximately parallel to the wall 1; outside of the guide and against it.
The element 6 has the shape of a segment of a cylinder, and the height of the cylinder segment corresponds approximately to the distance between the base plate 3 and the cover rail 4 of the guide 2.
At the upper end, the guide 2 goes into an approximately cylindrical extension 8 ', the radius of curvature of which approximately corresponds to the radius of the organ 6 ent. On the base plate 3 of the guide 2 there is a stop 9, which interacts with the base 10 of the cylinder segment 6 and is arranged at such a height that the cylinder segment 6 can only be pivoted into such a position that the Table top 8 is perpendicular to the plane of wall 1, that is, horizontally (Fig. 1).
In the rest position, the table top 8 is in an approximately parallel position to the wall 1, and the segment 6 is at the lower end of the guide 2 and its base rests against the base plate 3. For use, the table top 8 and thus the segment 6 in the guide 2 is pulled upwards until the segment enters the recess $ 'and strikes against the closed end of the guide.
In this position, the table top is swiveled in the clockwise direction of rotation, i.e. folded down, with the segment 6 rotating in the recess 'g 8' until the base of the segment rests on the stop 9 (Fig. 1).
Instead of the illustrated arrangement, in which only a single peg-like organ arranged in a plane of symmetry of the table top is used, several such organs can also be provided. In this case, securing against lateral pivoting is not required. But you can also, for example, provide a single spherical segment-shaped or a prismatic elongated organ. The inclination of the table in the rest and use position in hezug, the support or the floor can be adapted to the respective conditions.
The table takes up little space in the rest position and does not require a strut in the position of use.
