Mischbatterie an Kopfwaschbecken. Bei Kopfwaschbecken mit Kalt- und Warm wasseranschluss ist es ein Übelstand, dass nach dem Gebrauch in der Mischbatterie und in dem Brausemohr Wasser stehen bleibt. Will man nach einer heissen Waschung rasch hinterher eine kalte Waschung vornehmen, so dauert es längere Zeit, bis kaltes Wasser läuft. Umgekehrt bleibt nach einer kalten Waschung ein Rest kalten Wassers in den Rohren der Mischbatterie zurück, so dass man bei einer nachfolgenden warmen Waschung zuerst kaltes und dann laues Wasser erhält, bis plötzlich das heisse Wasser nachfolgt, wodurch man sich leicht verbrüht.
Die vor liegende Erfindung will diesen Übelstand ver meiden, indem an der tiefsten Stelle der Mischbatterie ein Hahn angeordnet ist, der gestattet, dass man das Brausemohr mit samt den Anschlussstücken der Rohrleitung nach jeder Benützung entleeren kann.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der Zeich nung in beispielsweiser Ausführungsform dar gestellt, und zwar zeigt: Abb. 1 eine Teilansicht eines Kopfwasch beckens mit Mischbatterie, Abb. 2 eine teilweise Draufsicht zu Abb. 1, Abb. 3 und 4 zwei um 90 versetzte Achsenschnitte nach A-9. und B-B durch den Entleerungshahn allein. Bei Abb. 4 be findet sich die Brause in Entleerungsstellung.
Der hohle Reiber b des Hahnens a, der an der Verbindungsstelle der Anschlussrohre <I>h, i</I> steht, hat im obern Teil zwei recht winklig zueinander stehende durchgehende Bohrungen d und e, im untern Teil eine durchgehende Bohrung f, die mit der obern Bohrung d gleichgerichtet ist. Dreht man nun das Brausenrohr c in die Gebrauchs stellung (Abb. 3), so, kann Kalt- oder Warm wasser oder beides, je nachdem man den einen oder andern der beiden Mischhähne 7c, m oder beide öffnet, durch das Brausenrohr c austreten, das mit dem Reiber b fest ver bunden ist.
Sperrt man den Wasserzufluss mittelst der Hähne<I>k, m</I> ab, so bleibt in dem Brausenrohr c und den zwischen dem Kalt- und Warmwasserhahn<I>k,</I> in liegenden Rohr stücken la und i Wasser stehen. Dieser Was serrückstand kann dadurch entfernt werden, dass man das Brausemohr c nach links oder rechts um 90 in die Entleerungsstellung dreht (Abb. 4), da in dieser Stellung das Wasser aus den zweckmässig gegen den Hahn a geneigten Rohrstücken<I>h</I> und<I>i</I> durch die Bohrungen e und f in den Ablaufstutzen g abfliessen kann. In dieser Stellung kann auch das Waschbecken gefüllt werden, das dann als Handwaschbecken dient.

The hollow grater b of the tap a, which is at the junction of the connecting pipes <I> h, i </I>, has two through holes d and e at right angles to one another in the upper part, and a through hole f in the lower part is aligned with the upper hole d. If you now turn the shower pipe c into the position of use (Fig. 3), cold or warm water or both, depending on whether one or the other of the two mixing taps 7c, m or both, can exit through the shower pipe c, that is firmly connected to the grater b.
If the water inflow is shut off by means of the taps <I> k, m </I>, water remains in the shower pipe c and the pipe pieces la and i located between the cold and hot water tap <I> k, </I> stand.
