lflittelpufferkupplung.
Oil buffer coupling. The invention relates to a central buffer coupling with a coupling head shaft articulated in the vehicle underframe and aims to prevent the occurrence of forces acting transversely to the track direction in such couplings.
In the drawing: Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in axial section, Fig. 2 is a partially sectional view of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a section along the line 3-3 of FIG Seen on the left, FIG. 4 shows a part of FIG. 1 with the parts in a different position, FIG. 5 shows a second exemplary embodiment in a representation corresponding to FIG. 1.
Fig. 6 shows the same representation as Fig. 5, a third embodiment, and Fig. 7 is a schematic representation of several rail cars connected by central buffer couplings. In the case of long railroad trains, the rear wagons of the train run heavily on the front wagons, especially if, in the event of sudden braking, the brake in the front part of the train comes into effect earlier than in the rear part.
In this case, inertial forces occur on the wagons, for example due to the mass effect in the wagons, which are stowed unevenly across the track direction, which move the wagon across the track direction and, if the wagons are equipped with central buffer couplings, these also crosswise len (Fix. 7). In the event of a collision, the clutches may then transfer force components to the vehicles, causing them to derail.
In the embodiment of the invention according to FIGS. 1 to 4, A denotes the dome head shaft, which engages with two fork arms a1 over a joint B and is pivotably mounted on this by means of a vertical pin C. The G.e- joint piece B carries lateral pins b ', with which it engages in corresponding bores of two sliders E which can be displaced in rails dl of the longitudinal beams D of the vehicle.
In the slider E, the pull and push rod K of the pull and push device (not particularly shown) is mounted to swing. The fork arms a1 of the dome head shaft each carry two ribs a2 respectively. a3, which bezw at their free ends as bearing eyes a4. d are trained.
In the bearing eyes a4, a link arm F is rotatably mounted: which, by means of a pivot pin f ', engages a crank G mounted in the eyes ca'. Finally, two frames H and J are attached to the beams D.
During normal travel, the parts assume the position shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, in which the crank G rests on the transverse web of the frame H and the coupling shaft A can swing around the pin C unhindered. If the shaft A receives a strong shock, it slides against the action of the springs of the pulling and pushing device in the plane of FIG. 1 to the right until, the crank G against, hits the crosspiece of the frame J and through it in in the clockwise direction.
This then has the consequence that the link F and the crank G press the fork arms a 'of the coupling head shaft against the joint piece B and thereby switch off the joint a' C , so that the shaft A can no longer swing out to the side. The arrangement is like this.
made that after covering, the full stroke, the pulling and pushing device, the three pivot pins of parts F and G have just reached their dead center position.
In this way it is thus avoided in a simple manner that the clutches can get into the position shown in FIG. After the shock has ceased, the springs of the pulling and pushing device bring the shaft A back into its initial position; here at the crosspiece of the frame H then swings the crank G into its initial position.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5, the crank L corresponding to the crank G of the first exemplary embodiment is connected by a link M to: the piston ih 'of a cylinder N, which is rigidly connected to the slider P and connected by a hose Q : the brake line of the train is connected.
A spring rz 'accommodated in the cylinder N endeavors to hold the piston N' in its position according to FIG. 5. How the device works does not require any further explanation. The arrangement can also be made in such a way that, in the event of rapid braking, first the cylinders N and only then the brake cylinders of the vehicles receive compressed air. In this case, the locking mechanism can be replaced by a simple locking device, for example a latch or a locking bolt that protrudes into recesses in the coupling head shaft.
In the position according to FIG. 5, the piston N 'does not yet assume a limit position, so that when the coupling head shaft vibrates in the plane of FIG. 5 it can execute small movements without influencing the locking mechanism. Such movements of the piston naturally do not occur when the cylinder is attached to the Kuppelko.pfschaft itself.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, the cylinder B which controls the locking mechanism is arranged between the pivot pin S of the coupling head shaft and the pull and push rod T so that a special stuffing box for its piston rod is dispensable.
If the coupling head shaft is attached directly to the vehicle chassis by means of a universal joint without using a pulling and pushing device, the cylinder can also be attached to a part rigidly connected to the chassis.
