Description

  

  Gerät zum Erwärmen von Rohrleitungen.    Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein  Gerät zum Erwärmen von Rohrleitungen,  z. B. um deren Inhalt vor Gefrieren zu  schützen, oder um in Wasserleitungen warmes  Wasser zu erzeugen. Das Gerät ist zangenför  mig ausgebildet und wenigstens eine der das zu  erwärmende Rohr umgreifenden Zangenbacken  ist als Hohlkörper, in dessen     Innerm    ein       Heizwiderstand    angeordnet, ausgebildet.  



  Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der  Zeichnung in einem Ausführungsbeispiel dar  gestellt, und es zeigt       Fig.    1 eine Seitenansicht und     Fig.    2 eine  Vorderansicht desselben.  



  Die beiden Griffteile 1, 2 des zangenartig  ausgebildeten Gerätes sind annähernd in  deren Mitte mit Lappen 3, 4 versehen, die  durch einen Gelenkbolzen 5 aneinander ge  lenkt sind. Die obern Enden der     Griffteile     1, 2 sind zu     ringsegmentförmigen    Backen 6,  7 ausgebildet, von welchen wenigstens die  eine (6) als Hohlkörper ausgebildet ist. In  diesem Hohlkörper ist ein Heizwiderstand  eingelagert, der gegen die Aussenwand 9 der    Backe hin durch eine     Wärmeisolierschicht,     z. B. eine Asbestplatte     811    gegen Wärmever  luste isoliert ist.

   Die Stromzuleitungen 10,  11 zu dem     Heizwiderstand    8 sind durch den  Griff 1 in den     Anschlusskasten    12 geführt,  der auf einem der beiden Griffteile 1, 2 be  festigt und durch einen Deckel 13     (Fig.    2)  abgeschlossen ist. In diesem     Anschlusskasten     sind die Zuleitungen 10, 11 an den Klem  men 14 angeschlossen, welche mit einem auf  der Aussenseite des     Anschlusskastens    ange  brachten Steckkontakte 15 in leitender Ver  bindung stehen, welchem Steckkontakte das  Führungskabel 16 angeschlossen ist.  



  Der dem untern Ende des Griffteils 1       angelenkte    Gewindebolzen 17 durchdringt  das untere Ende des Griffteils 2 und trägt  eine Stellmutter 18, mittelst welcher die bei  den Backen 6, 7 der Rohrleitung 19 fest       angepresst    werden können.  



  Sofern beide Backen 6 und 7 mit     Heiz-          widerständen    versehen sind, werden beide  Stromleitungen nach den Heizwiderständen  den     Klemmen    14 angeschlossen.      Zum Erwärmen einer Rohrleitung werden  die Zangenbacken 6, 7 um die Rohrleitung  19 gelegt und durch Verschrauben der Stell  mutter 18 auf dem Gewindebolzen 17 die  Backen 6, 7 der Rohrleitung 19 fest     ange-          presst,    worauf der elektrische Strom einge  schaltet wird.

   Unter Wirkung des     Heizwider-          standes    8 werden die Zangenbacken 6, 7  erwärmt, welche ihrerseits die Rohrleitung 19  erwärmen, wodurch das in dieser gebildete  Eis nach und nach geschmolzen wird,     bezw.     deren Inhalt erwärmt wird.  



  Um ein Überhitzen der Vorrichtung zu  verhindere, kann in der Stromleitung zu dem  Heizwiderstand auch eine Sicherung, z. B.  eine -Schmelzsicherung angebracht werden.

  The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing in one embodiment, and it shows Fig. 1 is a side view and Fig. 2 is a front view of the same.



  The two handle parts 1, 2 of the tong-like device are provided approximately in the middle with tabs 3, 4, which are ge by a hinge pin 5 to each other steered. The upper ends of the handle parts 1, 2 are formed into ring segment-shaped jaws 6, 7, of which at least one (6) is formed as a hollow body. In this hollow body, a heating resistor is embedded, which is against the outer wall 9 of the jaw through a heat insulating layer, z. B. an asbestos plate 811 is isolated against Wärmever losses.

   The power supply lines 10, 11 to the heating resistor 8 are passed through the handle 1 into the connection box 12, which is fastened to one of the two handle parts 1, 2 and is completed by a cover 13 (FIG. 2). In this junction box, the leads 10, 11 are connected to the Klem men 14, which are connected to a plug-in contacts 15 attached to the outside of the junction box, which plug-in contacts the guide cable 16 is connected to.



  The threaded bolt 17 hinged to the lower end of the handle part 1 penetrates the lower end of the handle part 2 and carries an adjusting nut 18, by means of which the jaws 6, 7 of the pipeline 19 can be firmly pressed.



  If both jaws 6 and 7 are provided with heating resistors, both power lines are connected to terminals 14 after the heating resistors. To heat a pipeline, the pliers jaws 6, 7 are placed around the pipeline 19 and the jaws 6, 7 of the pipeline 19 are firmly pressed by screwing the adjusting nut 18 onto the threaded bolt 17, whereupon the electrical current is switched on.

   Under the action of the heating resistor 8, the tong jaws 6, 7 are heated, which in turn heat the pipeline 19, whereby the ice formed in this is gradually melted, respectively. the contents of which are heated.



  In order to prevent overheating of the device, a fuse, e.g. B. a fuse can be attached.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Gerät zum Erwärmen von Rohrleitungen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es zangenförmig ist, wobei wenigstens eine der das zu erwär mende Rohr umgreifenden Zangenbacken als Hohlkörper, in dessen Innerem ein Heizwider- stand angeordnet, ausgebildet ist. UNTERANSPRüCHE: 1. Gerät nach Patentanspruch, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass es Mittel aufweist, um das Gerät mittelst der Backen an der Rohrleitung festzuklemmen. 2. Gerät nach Patentansprucb, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass in der Stromleitung zum Heizwiderstand eine Sicherung gegen Überhitzen des (rerätes vorgesehen ist.
