Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 152883. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Azofarbstoff erhält, wenn man 2.3-Oxy- riaphthoesäure-p-anisidid mit diazotiertem 4-Chlor-2-aminodiphenyläther kuppelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein in Wasser unlös liches rotes Pulver. Auf der Faser oder einem geeigneten Substrat hergestellt, erzeugt er volle rote Töne von hervorragender Licht echtheit.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 29,3 Teile 2.3-Oxynaphthoesäure-p-ani- sidid werden in 500 Teilen Wasser unter Zu satz von 4 Teilen Atznatron gelöst. Hierauf fügt man noch 20 Teile Soda hinzu und ver setzt mit einer aus 222,9 Teilen 4-Chlor-2- aminodiphenyläther bereiteten Diazolösung. Der gebildete Farbstoff scheidet sich sofort als roter Niederschlag aus.

It has been found that a new azo dye is obtained if 2,3-oxyriaphthoic acid p-anisidide is coupled with diazotized 4-chloro-2-aminodiphenyl ether. The new dye forms a red powder that is insoluble in water. Produced on the fiber or a suitable substrate, it creates full red tones with excellent lightfastness.
<I> Example: </I> 29.3 parts of 2,3-oxynaphthoic acid p-anisidide are dissolved in 500 parts of water with the addition of 4 parts of caustic soda. 20 parts of soda are then added and a diazo solution prepared from 222.9 parts of 4-chloro-2-aminodiphenyl ether is used. The dye formed separates out immediately as a red precipitate.
